'Demonic Whispering'

When a pair of olive green eyes opened up, there was a tired gaze coming from them.

Yumiko Miura was tired. She was only able to fall asleep when the sun started to rise.

That gives her around 1 to 2 hours of sleep. Something like that.

Her reason for lack of sleep is the wild dreams she has.

'What the hell is wrong with me? Do I truly want to be just 'one of several' instead of being 'the one'?'

The blonde was shocked by her behaviour and desires. Her dreams were wild! Like wild! She was part of those orgies Raynor is doing with his harem.

'Seeing that thing in person was the worst decision I have made! Now I can't forget about it!'

As the blonde got out of bed and looked at herself she was sweaty. With a sigh, she went to take a quick shower. When she got in the bathroom she looked at herself in the mirror. It made her frown get even deeper as she realised that her hair needed a wash as well.

With a sigh, she proceeded to take her shower.

By the time she was done, she returned to the room. Turns out the girls she is sharing her room with are still asleep. Her gaze went to the clock on the wall.

It was just past six.

'Great… this is just fantastic…' She sarcastically thought about this.

She wouldn't mind going to sleep as well… but… flashes of images appeared in her mind.

"Ugh…"

"I should just get outside."

She swiftly went outside and took in the fresh morning air.

"Kyoto smells different isn't it?"

Yumiko turned stiff, almost like a statue. She heard his voice. Right above her!?

The blonde turned around, she needed to take several steps out from the hotel, to see him lying on the roof! The guy was lazily lying there!

"What are you doing!?"

"Was watching stars until I fell asleep. It's like this place has a perfect geography, being built behind a mountain. It negates some of the light pollution. I was able to watch it."

"...Are you serious? Did you fall asleep outside? Are you okay!?" The blonde instantly got concerned, after all, it was late autumn! It's no longer warm!

"Don't worry about me." As he said that he got up and jumped down from the small roof which was built at the entrance. He could have gone for the third-floor roof but…he had a feeling he should stay at this specific spot.

And appears his instincts were right.

As landed on the ground he looked at the blonde in front of him. A small smile appeared on his lips as he got closer to her.

Yumiko realised that they were alone, once again, this time they were both up at extremely early time.

"You look quite tired, and your hair is wet~" He quickly got close to her and she didn't complain. Instead, she had this urge to bask in his attention.

No other guy has shown this much curiosity towards her before. Which in a sense is annoying. She is one of the most known girls in her school. Guys should be lining up for her. But then again all of them are afraid of her fiery character. (and they all know her obsession with Hayato).

All of that has left her in a very strange position. A super hot girl without a boyfriend and no guy showing attention to her. Only now did she realise that, after seeing that scene. A certain hunger for attention started to rise in her.

"...That's… what of it?" With an angry huff, she crossed her arms.

"Why don't we get something to drink and eat?" He suggested to her that after looking at her condition.

Her eyes blinked a couple of times, is he asking her out for a date? Something like that?

Raynor saw the reaction to his suggestion, all he could think of was how serious girls from Japan can be. Thankfully he is turning his crude Yukino into a more relaxed one over time. Being next to Erica sure has helped her.

"A-Are you asking me out!? Now?"

"Don't be overdramatic. We are going to get some tea or coffee or hot chocolate depending on what you want."

He didn't even bother to ask her if she wanted to come as he wrapped his hand around her waist and proceeded to walk with her.

All the blonde could think was that this guy was on a different level with his no lack of confidence!

For some weird reason, the blonde was feeling very warm. Was it the way he was one hand hugging her? Or was it something else?

The girl didn't realise that Raynor was channelling Apollo's authority to help her dry up. He doesn't want her to get sick on his watch like that.

So he allowed the godly power to flow through her and dry up her hair.

"Do you think it's fine for us to leave the hotel like this?" Yumiko asked with some concern, the girl didn't want to get reported like this. Especially on a trip. If she is reported she could get banned from any other trips in future while she is in high school.

"It's fine. You are coming with me. No teacher would complain, as long as you are with me." He said that with a smile, which only made her groan.

"What? Sounds arrogant? Yes, but it's just how it is." He shrugged at her groan. The girl didn't even realise how she was almost cuddling with him.

But that is fine.

"...Sure…"

She sounded quite like she was somewhere far away.

After a while, they arrived at one of the coffee shops. It was already open. Some of the office workers are already lining up for their morning coffee.

By this point, Yumiko realised that she had almost fallen asleep in his hands. It was a strange experience.

The blonde can't understand if it's some supernatural power of his or it's just how it is. She can just relax in his hand!

Is this what has conquered that ice cube?

Well, it is working on her as well…

Regardless, she once again was fully awake and waited in the line next to him.

"...So, is this how you usually conquer your girls?" The blonde Queen Bee asked him with a voice mixed with amusement and seriousness at the same time. She had no idea how to interact with him at this moment. The guy already has five girls, she knows that! Yet, here she was with him in a coffee shop, by all means, he was 'conquering' her at this moment.

"You need to tell me in a more specific manner? What do you mean 'usually'? Everyone is different, you know. The same methods don't work on all the girls." He said with a knowing voice.

"You just agreed that you are doing this!"

"And yet, you are here standing next to me."

"Ugh…"

Yumiko doesn't know if she should bang her head to get out of this 'spell' or try something else. But she IS curious and wants to know more!

But that's the thing, she knows what he is doing, he even truthfully explained, so she knows what he wants her. So she knows what is waiting for her!

So…for some reason, she is okay with that!?

In the end, she tries to stop thinking because she knows she is 'poisoning' herself and she is fine with that!

After a while they finally ordered what they wanted, Raynor bought everything she wanted. For a moment she even thought about ordering 'everything' just to mess with him but for some reason, she decided not to.

It feels more of a drag than anything.

Once they got their morning drinks and snacks they ended up sitting at a table for two. Next to a window overlooking one of the old-looking temples.

"...Since I have such a great opportunity, I want to know what your deal is." The blonde went right for the kill. She is a super straight person. Even more so than his Yukino.

"Hmm? Do you want to know? Are you sure? I mean I could tell, but would you believe it? It's spooky stuff."

Yumiko narrowed her eyes, she wondered if he was trying to avert her from this. Maybe he is…

"In the end, you wouldn't be able to look at things differently."

"Ugh…when you said that it only makes me more interested!" The Queen Bee realised that he knew how to tease and trap her!

Like… she realised that she was at the point of no return!

"I did it. Have you ever heard the story about Pandora's Box?" He asked with a mysterious voice.

Yumiko narrowed her eyes for a bit. Even with her lack of interest in that kind of stuff she has heard about it.

"... It's about some girl who opened a box and released curses to the outside world."

"Yes. You know it. Human curiosity. But this is fine, you want it, I will tell you.

You see. There are seven rulers in this world. Seven people who wield absolute authority over people of this world. Because they wield power like no other."

Her eyes widened as she got flashbacks… one of them was that specific flashback in the hot springs. But others were Raynor dominating in sports, the freak weather…

Then a freak storm caused concert organisers to cancel Ai Hoshino's concert but, the next day the idol transferred to their school!?

"...You can control whether…" The blonde whispered with realisation.

"Oh, nice. You are right."

As he said the weather changed outside, it started to get cloudy and a small drizzle started.

It all happened in a few short moments. Right in front of Yumiko.

"...So you are one of these…Rulers?" She asked with a cautious voice. Now she gets the idea why he can do whatever he wants.

But…she can tell there is more to it.

"Fascinating isn't it? Now you are wondering who the other six rulers are, do they have similar powers? Where are they coming from, and why should people listen to them? Right?"

Blonde huffed some more when she heard that. What he said is right. But then again. He can change the weather in the whole of Japan.

"You are right. So? Why is the whole nation bowing before you?" Once again she went straight to the point.

"Maybe I will tell you one day. But I think that much is enough, at this moment." He smirked at her. Which made her annoyed for leaving her hanging like this.

"What? You ran away yesterday, so I am running away now."

Internally she groaned, of course, he remembered how she ran away from him! Now he is using it!

"You are just petty."

"Maybe I am? But then again I don't reveal everything on the first 'date'." He smoothly got himself out of it. Why would he tell everything on the first 'date' like that? That's boring.

She didn't say anything and instead proceeded to eat her pastries.

In a sense he was right, but it doesn't mean she likes it! Hell no! The girl wants to know all the juicy background details! Especially since he admitted that he is a bonafide 'Ruler' and wields supernatural powers!

"So. You can wield weather. What else?" Yet, Yumiko can still ask and walk around some questions. Since she is here, why not ask?

"That would be elements."

He lifted a finger and showed how his finger was on fire. Which made her look at it with fascination. He can wield flames like that? In a way it's awesome! Fire was always something like her 'element' everyone calls her 'Fiery' so it kind of stuck with her.

"You know… I can give you some powers~" He said while leaning forward and starting to whisper like some devil or demon, promising 'limitless' power.

The blonde Queen Bee realised that there was something more to this. Is this one of the 'kinks' of his harem? Giving away powers?
