19 CHAPTER 19 : DOUBT

Cherlynn plopped into the chair next to Marley and cradled the bowl of popcorn in her arms.

"So did she die?" Cherlynn asked, referring to the romance movie the girls had been watching.

"No Not yet." Marley responded as she put a handful of popcorn into her mouth. "But you know how these cliche romance movies go. She's definitely going to die."

The two girls chuckled.

"Hey what happened to Hisaki? I haven't seen him around in a while." Marley questioned the girl sitting next to her.

"Who?" Cherlynn responded

Marley arched an eyebrow at the girl confused. "Hisaki. I thought you guys hit it off and were all buddy buddy."

Cherlynn swallowed her popcorn and realized Marley was asking about Hermès. She had to be careful or else she'd blow his cover.

"Oh yeah him." Cherlynn responded. "He's alright. We talk on the phone here and there nothing special."

Marley nodded and shoved some more popcorn in her mouth.
