14 CHAPTER 14 : QUEST

Apollo and Artemis were led into a dark and dingy cave littered with jars and bottles containing potions and disembodied parts of small animals. The walls were covered in moss and grime, and the floors were moldy and wet.

The duo stopped and stood facing Circe who had sat down on what looked like a chair made of old wood and fragments of bone.

Apollo stepped forward and looked at the white haired woman in front of him.

"I don't have time to explain." Apollo began to speak. "But I'm here because.."

"I know why you're here child." Circe interrupted him.

"Well then." Apollo continued. "Like I said, I don't have much time. If you could give me the potion, I'll be on my way."

Circe let out a snarky chuckle that sent a chill down Artemis' spine.

"You gods are so self entitled." She spoke to him. "If it's my help you seek, act like it."

Artemis stepped forward and crouched down in front of the witch.
