13 CHAPTER 13 : ANGER

Marley hummed happily as she stacked up books on the shelves. Cherlynn watched her best friend skeptically as she practically prancing around the store humming happily.

"I take it you and Akie linked up." Cherlynn spoke as she eyed the girl.

Marley turned to Cherlynn and smiled. "Yeah we did." She responded and continued her humming.

Cherlynn arched an eyebrow at the girl. "You seem unusually happy today." She said to the girl. "Care to share the joy?"

Marley walked over to where Cherlynn was sitting and placed some books on her lap.

"Double check those." Marley responded to Cherlynn, completely disregarding her question. "I couldn't find them in our records."

Cherlynn rolled her eyes and carried the books to the front desk.

"You know." Cherlynn began to speak. "That kind of glow can only be caused by one of two things."

Marley grabbed some more books and walked towards the inquisitive girl. "Which are?" She asked as she scanned the bar codes of the books.
