1 The First OwO

"I am happy to see you in a good shape, Your Highness."

I say with a smile as the king approached the bed that I am laying on.

"You don't have to be so formal with me Riku."

The king says with great sorrow in his voice. He kneels beside me with tears in his eyes.

"Come on Kaito, you don't have to be so sad. I just saved the world from the Demon Lord. You should be happy!"

I try my best to cheer him up, but the atmosphere is too gloomy. The doctors and attendants in the room all look devastated, but out of everyone, I am the one who wants to cry most.

"We came to this world together Riku. I was supposed to be with you two during your battle! I can't help but feel sad knowing that I am going to be the only one left in this world!"

That's right. Kaito and I were summoned to this world, as well as the girl I loved, Himari. The three of us were childhood friends, and we just graduated high school before we were brought here.

"This is what was meant to happen. You are the only one capable of leading the people. Himari and I were just average students who were on the disciplinary committee."

Before we were summoned here, Kaito was the student with the best grades in our school and was also the student council president. My chest starts to hurt. Kaito seems to have noticed and starts panicking. The doctors start attempting to help me.

The world is slowly getting blurry and darker. I can hear Kaito and my attendants crying.

The world suddenly turned silent, and it became pitch black.

"Don't worry! I'll grant your wish!"

I was startled by the loud voice and fell back.

"You seem confused! Don't worry, I'll explain everything!"

A bright light suddenly emerged from the darkness, and when the light slowly disappeared, there was…

She suddenly smirked.

"No… there is only one girl in my heart."

"Ah… this is that Himari girl you wished to be with right?" she says.

I nod my head.

"Well won't you rather be with me?" she says as she slowly creeps closer.

"I can give you everything you want boy…"

She puts her hand on my cheek.

Ahh… this feels great… wait… NO!

I jump back and put a bit of distance between us. It seems like my blessing of speed still worked.

"I am sorry but I only love Himari."

I bow. Not to show respect, but to hide my face that shows my regret. I CAN'T BELIEVE IM TURNING DOWN A HOTTIE SUCH AS HER!

"Ehh… this is the first time somebody turned me down. You are quite the interesting boy."

I look up and see her smiling at me with a look the same as if a child got a new toy.

"Well anyways. You just died, and as I said, I'm the Great Goddess, and I will grant the wish you made right before you died as a reward for saving the world."

"Really? Where's Himari?" I enthusiastically asked.

"Well, you seem quite excited. Do you really love her that much?" she asked with a pouting face

"Yes, I do!"

"Just stay with me boy, I promise you'll be happy with me." She says with a wink and a cute smile.

Damn it! She's so cute!

"Sure- I mean… NO! As I said! Only Himari is in my heart!"

That was a close call… is her cuteness that hypnotizing?!

The Goddess looked angry.

"Is she that much better than me? I am the Great Goddess! I turned myself into your ideal woman, identical to those in the magazines you used to hide under your bed during high school, but you still won't choose me?"

"EHHH?! H-how do you know about those magazines?!"

"Well duh, I'm a Goddess." She said with a triumphant look on her face

I am really embarrassed. A cute girl knows about my magnificent collection, and even knows where I hide it.

"… Even so… I only like Himari. I'm sorry!"

"AHH!! This is quite annoying!"

The Goddess looked even angrier.

"I… I will not accept defeat!"

She was acting like a child. It was still very cute though. Ah- STOP! NO MORE! HIMARI IS THE ONLY ONE RIKU! STAY LOYAL TO YOUR CRUSH!

The Goddess lets out a sigh.

"I did say I will grant you your wish… I'm a woman of my words. But…"

She suddenly breaks out an evil smile followed by a villainous laugh.

"He... hehe…"

I feel a chill run down my spine.

"W-what are you planning?"

"Nothing…" she says. But her face tells me there's definitely something up.

"Well, off you go boy! Goodbye! I'll see you later."

She snaps her fingers, and right after that, the pitch black world was enveloped in a bright light. It was so bright that I had to cover my eyes.

Wait… did she say that she'll see me later?

… Well, whatever.

When I opened my eyes, I was lying down on a bed. I sprung up and looked around me. I immediately remembered where I was.

I reached down below my bed, and lo and behold… my treasured magazines!

I was back in my previous world.
