When he opened his eyes he found himself back in a black rocky stone room like the place. He got up and dusted himself before finding an exit to the place.

With some effort, he found that he was in a hidden cave in one of the hills that surrounded the Forks. It was at this place, in the middle of nowhere, where his late eccentric brother had bought a huge piece of land in the middle of the forest and made a sprawling bungalow.

It also held enormous underground parking that held some of the most coveted and rare cars in the world. Few cars were such that their makers themselves had not been released to the public yet. He was pretty stumped as to how his brother had managed that.

His brother was an all-time enigma. Unlike Krishna, who had been normal and went to a boarding school for most of his life, his brother Ananta was a self-taught genius. His exploits included being an author to multiple world-famous books and comics that rocked the world, netting him tens of millions each year in royalty.

He was also a genius-level programmer who advanced computer technology to more than a decade of its time while also designing multiple advanced game systems. He was close to a God in the entertainment industry and a Creator level Deity to all nerds and gamers.

However, all of a sudden he had given up all his rights to his creations and sold them off for billions of dollars in total. He went off the grid for over 6 months, before Krishna got the news that he had died in an accident and left all his possessions and properties to him.

However, there was a particular clause in the will that to completely inherit the properties he will have to live in the place the property was situated for at least 5 years.

It was a hassle at first, but seeing his brother had left enough money and luxury for him to survive for over 3 generations without working, Krishna decided to give it a shot.

Also, Forks was a nice place, if not a tad boring and repetitive, and if you didn't mind the entire community knowing every stuff that might happen. He could consider this a 5-year vacation before selling everything off and becoming a Travel Blogger or something similar.

When Krishna awoke the next morning, he found himself remembering the bizarre events of the day before. But then he composed himself and decided to go with his brother's motto, 'Go with the flow'. He got up and dressed in some casual clothes, along with a leather jacket.

He wasn't particularly feeling cold, but in a place that was nearly always drizzly or cold, having a jacket was thought of as compulsory. He looked over to the mirror to see a handsome caramel-skinned tall guy with lean muscles, wavy dark hair, and glittering black pupil eyes ringed with brown.

After having a quiet breakfast, he cleaned up and got his backpack with some stationery and rough notebooks he had packed in earlier. He was transferred as a junior at the local high school and given the looks of the place he had no high expectations.

But still, one should always be prepared. After making sure he had everything, including documents for his transfer that he had already got approved earlier, He went down to the enormous monstrosity his brother called a garage.

There were a large number of cars there, each having their own place for parking along with maintenance tools individually calibrated for each car.

He ignored them all and went to the farthest and smallest spot. It was the only car here that had never been his brothers, it was his. He had brought it through saving his allowance and cash prize he won after winning four first-position medals in sports events in his previous high school.

It was a Subaru Impreza WRX STI (GR), more than a little low reputation car compared to the gems his brother had collected, but he was proud of it.

He had learned customization just for taking care of it and had worked on it a lot to bring down its initial 0-60 mph in 5.1 secs down to 4.4 secs. He had also improved its control and efficiency. He had also customized its tires to have a better grip on the slippery roads of Forks.

The car started with a purr, putting a smile on his face as he pressed the button to lower the ramp and open the garage doors. His brother had installed an advanced security system to control everything in this house at the touch of a button.

As he eased the car out of the garage, it automatically closed itself noiselessly. Krishna drove to Forks High at a moderate pace, leisurely viewing the forest that seemed to be everywhere in this place.

However, the air felt crisp, earthy, and fresh, improving his mood as he drove. The surrounding was beautiful too, green trees with green leaves that had light filtering through then in green color.

After I reached and parked my car, I went straight to the front office, with a lady who greeted me enthusiastically. She only left after ensuring personally that I had a basic knowledge of the school and had got my schedule, map of the school, teacher sign slip, locker keys, gym uniform, and books properly.

Forks High School had a total of only students studying before today, now it will be three hundred and fifty-nine since I and another transfer student will be joining. That fact had surprised me when I heard it, I had thought I would have been the only weirdo transfer student. It truly needed guts to transfer into an overly intimate place like this which had a very loose definition of privacy and personal space.

My first class was in Building 3, I slowly walked towards it and tried to blend in with other students. However, I failed miserably, just like I did in my previous school. I never knew what it is but everyone at my previous school said that they used to get a dangerous vibe from me.

I had even attracted the affection of some peculiar girls I briefly went out with, who used to like a bit forcefulness and bad boy attitude. No need to say that it ultimately didn't work out since I was never much delinquent type of guy.

I can and will defend myself of course, but bullying and interfering where I don't belong is not my style. In fact, I went out of my way to save many students who were being bullied, but they would always become more scared of me than their tormentors.

Ultimately I gave up on socializing, I would be polite and friendly if approached, but I never took the initiative to ingratiate myself to others.

As I was walking towards the class, I found my gaze caught by a pale nervous girl who was walking all hunched up and mechanically following those who were in front of her. For reason I didn't really understand, I found myself falling in step beside her.

She briefly looked up at me in surprise before again hunching up and lowering her head. We hung up our jackets on the rows of hooks provided, just like the other students.

As I went to give my slip to the instructor, Mr. Mason, I found that the girl beside me also took out a slip of our own. So this was the infamous Isabella Swan, daughter of that Police Chief I met when I first moved in here.

Well, she doesn't look anything like him that is for sure, except the eyes maybe. Mr. Mason also gawked at the two of us for a few moments before sending us to the seat at the back. My partner in crime blushed like a red star as she walked like a criminal to the backbenches and I followed.

We sat together in comfortable silence, while she went through the materials while ignoring what the teacher was saying. With the familiar way, her gaze was at the materials, I was pretty sure she must know most of it already.

Since I too knew most of it I was bored too, hence I just started scratching some faint doodles on the desk with my fingernails to pass the time. A while later, I felt the gaze of my desk partner on me and I turned to her.

"Yes ?" I asked her politely, would not be good if the daughter of the police chief was scared of me on her first day.

"Umm, I noticed you weren't going through your materials and reading assignments?" she asked in almost a whispering voice.

"Well, I was earlier in a private school and learned most of all this there," I said while continuing my doodles and thought 'Most? Try all of them and then some.'

"Oh, that seems similar to me" slight amount of confidence now came to her voice. She must have been extremely nervous to transfer here and must have thought everyone will treat her as a freak.

"Umm, by the way," she said "I am Bella Swan. What Is your name?"

"Nice to meet you Miss Swan" I replied, "I am Krishna Kalmyk, newly moved to this place because of some family circumstances."
