1 Chapter 1

"Are you crazy?!"

Mia had to put a space between her ears and her phone. She knew her friend will have this reaction.

"Maybe."

The person on the other line started laughing. "I've never thought you had the courage to even do this. Does your dad know?"

Mia did not reply so the other person continues, "I thought so. How did you even got past your front door without them seeing you with a suitcase? Well, I know they don't really care much about you, but you could've told them you're going on a trip."

"I'm going to tell them, once I arrived at the airport."

"Ha. Well, they won't be able to stop you now, anyway. So, what's your plan? How long was that trip?"

"I don't have any plans."

"What? Are you crazy?!"

"Chance, I just… I just wanna go." Mia's voice came out broken as she speaks. "I just need this, just so I have no regrets."

"I know." Mia could hear that Chancy really understands. "It's just that it's so sudden, and you didn't even tell me your plans."

"I'm sorry."

"You should be. I nearly died of shock a while ago." Chancy feels like she can no longer fully understand the best friend that she had for ten years. It was always unpredictable with Mia. She never told her stuff that is outmost importance, such as this plan. But all she can do is support her friend in her decisions. "Call me when you get to the lounge, and call me when you need anything."

"Thanks, Chance." Mia really feels grateful for having Chance as a friend, who not only tries to understand her, but also supports her decisions, even the crazy ones. She knew this is one of those crazy, unplanned trips, but she knows she has to do it no matter what. She's here in the airport anyway.

"Mia, I don't have to tell you this but take care. Put my number in your speed dial."

"It's already there. And I've arrived at the port. Call you later. See you after two months." She was about to hang up when Chancy has begun shouting through the phone again.

"WHAT THE FUCK? YOU"LL BE GONE FOR TWO MO—" Mia decided to cut the call and text Chancy later instead. She knows even if Chancy is an understanding friend, she would still ask Mia to go back. Two months in different places, something that is different from the trips that she's had before. She would only stay at one place for five days at most.

Feeling nervous, she had to adjust her breath for a while. She really had no plans, except from the bucket list that she has written when she was still a middle school student. She might just try her luck and go with the flow. Two month is not THAT long, after all. It was time, and carrying her backpack, went inside the airport and never looked back.
