A GIRL IN THE GARDEN

Prologue She ran hard like a deer chased by a forest beast, laughing and making sounds like a cricket and he also ran as fast as he could to catch up with her. She cursed underneath her breathe, breathing heavily after having a rough race with him. She lowered head, wrapping her hair with a bow at the same time She thought those enchanting flowers and lilies could hid her but....... . While he was muttering with anger, he could not find her, he wanted to tell her his mind but She was just being playful. She merely listen to what he was saying, he got mad and she sprang up thinking he was joking. She just thinking about fun. She doesn’t know that she had gotten in his goddamnit nerve He sighted her and he started tiptoeing behind her. After long time of playing hid and seek he got the chance and gripped her neck. ''How dare you make fun of me?'' He growled angrily adding more force on her neck. She struggling to be free from his grip ''Common.... I.. I... was only joking... am sorry'' she stammered holding on to his hand that is not giving up on her neck. ''Go to hell...!'' He shouted before releasing hher but he didn't watch the next move as she fell and clashed her head on the sharp edged stone on the earth's surface ''Uhhggg... Ahhh...'' His screaming went out like a roar. He killed his love..... Little Anne smiled at the garden just behind their new apartment. It looked old though but deep in her heart, she is really planning for a change on it. She is ready and willing to make it her small heaven filled with different species of flowers. She ran back inside to her brothers and her parents who were busying packing inside. ''Brady! come see what i found behind our house!'' she grinned pulling his T-shirt. ''Hey! Little fruit! you see am really busy over here ... Hop over to Pete! huh!....'' Brad replied with a helpless shrug. ''Geez...'' she mumbled and ran to the car to her father. ''Dad! come see something...''she said with happiness. Her eye dilating like a puppy eye. ''Anne.... am busy right now! I need to pack these boxes inside as soon as possible you know I need to heed to your uncle Zack and inform him we’re here! maybe later'' Her dad answered ''Noo dad! dad common... please!! just a minute.. no i mean few seconds please!!’ She grimaced ''No..... Anne go meet your mum..'' her dad said firmly before walking inside the dreamy duplex. She sighted her mum pulling a big carton out of their car. ''Mummy.....'' she mimicked softly trying to lure her mum. ''Not now Anne'' Her mum shunned her immediately without even looking up at her. ''Okay...'' she said lowly walking away. Too bad her charm failed on every one. From the apartment to their fence she heeded and climbed to seat on the lowered fence. She felt lonely and sad. She smiled as she remembered the garden again. Hearing low and weak melodious sounds behind her, she looked behind the fence and to her greatest surprise It'a boy just like her age mate, singing out loud, pouring out his soul in the air. With his closed eyes and his little fingers playing the guitar, He looked like musician playing on live stage. Anne smiled feeling carried away with his voice, she rested her head on her wrist and closed her eyes.
