4 Cold Case.

TJ's POV

(( Two days later ))

I've been worried about that case Captain Rogers was talking about when Adriana was still in the hospital. I'm so glad that she survived that bullet to the shoulder, most people I've seen get hit in the shoulder doesn't really survive.

I've seen a lot of people either get hurt, killed, get kidnapped, or worse. Raped.  I've put a lot of bad people to jail or even Prison in Cuba or Canada that's how bad they were. I heard my phone start ringing, I groaned but grabbed it, bringing it up to my ear. "Hello?" I asked waking up a bit.

"Is this TJ Summers?" the dark voice asked it sounded like a computer cover-up "This is She" I heard the voice chuckle "Good, now I know where you are, so no funny business, I'm gonna make a deal with you" I could tell he had a smirk or whoever was behind the phone had a smirk "What type of deal" my voice getting deeper, turning more serious and also trying not to wake up Adriana who's head was on my stomach and her fingers were entwined with mine.

"The deal is that you drop from your position as Queen and promote me as the rightful king or I will have my men hunt down everyone you love and care about, one by one until you do. Now how does that sound? Fun right? " The person asked. I sighed and shifted my position a bit. "How about...no. Please do me a favor and delete my number no funny business or you will be the one getting hunted. Fun right ?" my voice completely changing into a demonic type voice that held power.

I hung up, putting my phone back on my nightstand then rubbed my forehead. My vision turning black as I felt my nails start growing. I don't find it funny or hilarious that people actually threaten me to step down from my position and promote fools instead. I have royal blood flowing through my veins that gives me the ability to be queen, it wasn't my choice.

It wasn't my fault that I was next in line. It could've been my little sister instead but nope it was me. Don't let me get into details about this. It isn't anything special. But to give you an idea, I rule the entire supernatural side of this world.

I felt a small warm hand touch the side of my face turning me to look at them. Once I turned to look at Adriana she had a worried look on her face. I nuzzled my nose into her neck inhaling her scent to try and calm down my wolf. She must've heard me and woken up.

'Sorry love'

"Hey, what's wrong?" Adriana asked rubbing her hands down my arm. "Someone has made a threat to me" I growled "What's the threat?" she moved her head away and kissed my forehead. "I give up my position as Queen and promote them as the rightful ruler or have everyone I care and love about killed, one by one."

"I'm trying not to let the threat get to me, but to go that far as to kill my loved ones. Actually worries me." My head leaned against Adriana's, letting myself and my wolf calm down more. "You're not going to let that happened" I nodded my head then looked at the clock.

7:45 AM

Dang it I'm 10 minutes late for work. I started getting up when I heard Adriana whimpers I immediately turned around and cupped her face. She leaned her cheek more towards my hands and gave a small kiss in my palm. "I have to go to work but I can't leave you here after that threat so you have to get ready. Oh and no shorts or spaghetti straps we have a dress code at my work" she simply nodded then got off the bed towards the closet.

I started walking out the bathroom door till our house phone started ringing. The caller read 'Agent Reagan' I groaned again, but answered the phone "What Reid?" I asked into the phone then heard guns being cocked and doors being slammed. "You better hurry and protect your mate put your earpiece in now! Put your vest on and grab your gun we just got a message saying 'I'm coming for you Summers' then it went away and another one popped up not too long ago saying 'I'm outside' we're on our way just be careful TJ" Reid warned me and immediately hung up.

"Adriana!" I yelled, she came running out with one shoe in her hand the other on her foot "What?!" she sounded alarm "Come here we need to hide quick follow me" I quickly put my vest on Adriana, and filled my holsters up with my two guns then stuck a knife in my thigh holster.

I led Adriana to a secret room in my house putting Adriana behind me, guarding with the gun in my hands. I put my finger by the trigger and turn on my earpiece. I put two fingers on the piece in my ear contacting Captain Rogers. "Captain, you copy?" I said in the earpiece "Yeah we're here S.W.A.T team is about to break down the door where are you?" He replied back I felt Adriana's head between my shoulder blades then wetness.

"Okay cap," I told him where we were then hugged Adriana only wrapping one arm around her slim waist, the other holding my main gun.
