1 A Ghostly Encounter - Chapter1

"Lea! Wake up, class is over!"

I could feel a small tug on my ponytail

I slowly open my eyes and the first thing I see is a ghost creepily staring at me

I tried to avoid the eyes of the ghost, hoping he did not hear the small gasp I unconsciously let out

I looked behind me to see my best friend, Lucy, looking at me still holding my hair, when I looked at her hand she quickly let go

"Oh" I manage to say before turning my head to see half of the class heading out the door

Ally stood up eyeing the clock above the blackboard as she packed her stuff

"I have to go, my parents told me I have to come back home before 5:00 and it's already 4:39! I'll see you next week!" Ally says before running out the door like her hair is on fire

Now only me and a few people are left in the classroom, including the random ghosts

Thankfully, unlike ghosts in the movies, they are harmless. They can't interact or touch people and I could only see them. I started seeing ghosts ever since I was 10, you would never have imagine how shocked and scared I got when there was around 10 ghosts chilling outside my house.

Even though I know their harmless I still get creeps when I see a ghost staring at me

I grab my backpack and walk out the door, keeping my head down

When I pass the music room I raise my head up and peek through the window

As always there is a lone ghost looking out of the window and a piano at the middle of the room

Did I forget to mention that ghosts can actually only touch something that was precious to them in their last life? No? well now you know.

For some reason that ghost always stays in the music room, I never saw him come out.

Teachers and students never go inside the music room because of a rumor that was currently going around

They say that one day at night, a teacher went back in the school because she happened to forget something

suddenly she heard the sound of a piano, it was music to her ears, enough to make her want to sleep right there at the spot

she thought a student or perhaps a teacher snuck in, so she headed to the music room to tell them to go back home

when she peeked through the window she could see no one there, but it was still playing

once she opened the door the music suddenly stopped playing

the cold wind and the open windows were just icing to the cake

She got so spooked out so she quickly ran out the school, forgetting why she even went inside

The next day, no one believed her when she said that there was a ghost in the music room

so a group of students decided to see if she was lying or not

they did not forget to record the whole thing of course

The group of students did exactly what the teacher did

they peeked from the window to see that no one was there but there was still soothing and relaxing music coming from inside

They got so scared that one actually passed out of shock, crazy right?

well after that incident they decided to never use that certain music room again

I'm guessing that ghost was the cause of the rumor seeing that he was always inside

whenever I pass the music room he would always be looking out the window so I can't see his face

Though If I have to be honest I would really love to see his face one day

7:30PM

How could I be so stupid?

I completely forgot my notes back at school

I really don't want to go back but I really need those notes

So I'm back here, Infront of the school doors

I managed to sneak inside since the guard was distracted watching a video, someone should really fire that guard

I enter the school and walk upstairs

I then start to hear the music everyone was talking about

They were right, the music was soothing and relaxing

I walk closer to the music room and take a peek through the window

The ghost was playing the piano gracefully

so it really was him..

I stood there, my eyes closed as I listened to the music. it... it sounds kinda familiar

I open my eyes and start walking forward, I completely forgot why I came here in the first place

I barged in the classroom and headed for my desk

Fortunately, my notes were still there

I quickly snatched my notes and headed out the classroom

I'm so tired, the faster I escape from this school the faster I will be back home

For some reason the music stopped but I was too tired to even notice

But before I knew it someone went through the wall and was right Infront of me

I let out a gasp as I drop to the floor

I look up to see a ghost staring at me in shock

Wait... Was he that ghost from a few minutes ago..?

Damnit he was prettier than I expected

He has white fluffy hair, not those hair that are long enough that it would cover your eyes or something.

and he had beautiful green emerald eyes that could barely be seen thanks to him being transparent

I wanted to look at him more but he cut me off

"I- how..?"

I was about to say what he was talking about till I remember that he was a ghost
