14 What a wonderful dungeon

(Ivan's POV)

When I was sucked into the hole, I thought very sad thoughts. Mostly things like "This is where I die," and "Anenoid is definitely going to get a punishment for this." When I first got sucked into the hole, I lost concertation of my new skill and I was swallowed up by water. I didn't know what was happening, but I felt my body going around in a circle. After a few seconds I felt my lungs struggling for air. I accidently open my mouth and swallow an unhealthy amount of water. Thankfully I didn't get to drown since my body was thrown out of the water and I land on a hard floor. When I landed, I bit down on my tongue.

I use Gamer's Mind to block out the pain on my tongue. Ow! Why did I have to be thrown out? I get up on my feet and when I do, I feel the water I swallowed earlier swooshing around in my stomach. This doesn't feel very good. I feel like throwing up. I didn't get much time to get used to the pain since my Blood Lust Detection activated. I look down the hallway and see something standing on two legs, but the way it was standing it reminded me of the way a raptor would stand. From what I can tell it had a weirdly shaped head and two tiny hands that had claws on it. Before I had a chance to use Inspect the thing rushed towards me.

When it moved its feet, I heard metal clank and each time its feet hit the ground it sounded like metal was hitting on the ground. I quickly take out my katana and go in for a stab to the stomach. It dodged and leaped towards me. It quickly raised its arm to scratch my face, but I used Wind's Cannon to send it flying back. I ran towards it, but it quickly got back on its feet. I stop and back up a bit. I use Wind's Arrow and I hit it in the shoulder. When it hit it the arrow didn't faze the thing. Instead it made it take a step back and then it started rushing towards me again.

When it started running, I also started to rush towards it with my katana. I see that its legs started to get bigger so I predicted it would jump towards me. When it was close enough, I raise my sword over my head, and I bring it down. As I predicted it jumped towards me and my sword got stuck in its head. It stopped mid-air and suddenly its legs extended. Its legs wrapped around my arms and the claws the of the thing dug into my arms. I feel my arms start to weaken. I wince as I felt its claws start to go deeper into my arms. I sense a tingle in my neck, and I look back at the thing. I see its mouth open. Oh, it's about to bite me.

The head quickly moved towards my neck, but I use Wind Slash to try to cut off its neck. It managed to cut halfway through the throat. The head tilted to the side, but the claws were still digging into me. I use Wind Slash on both on its arms, but on my second one I didn't have enough Mp to use it. The one arm I was able to cut didn't even go through it, but there was a cut, so I guess I did some damage. Shortly after I hear a grinding noise and all of a sudden, I see a bunch of sparks come out of the cut. Why won't it just die!? Some sparks got on my skin and Gamer's Mind couldn't keep up with the pain. Not being able to bear the pain I look at the ground and try to think of a way out. When I looked at the ground, I noticed that there were shadows beneath me. I remember one of my new skills and I imagine myself sinking into the shadows. I see my feet quickly get sucked into the shadows and I was suddenly in the shadows.

When I was in the shadows my body felt cold and it kind of felt like I was swimming. I look around and see that I could see what was happening above. I look at my hand and I saw that I had my katana. I try to move back and instead of sinking like how I usually do when I 'am in water I was able to move back. I wasn't in the shadows for more than a second before I was kicked out of the shadows. When I came back, I saw the creature on the floor, and it was trying to bring back its legs into its body. I rush towards it and I stabbed it in the chest. I leave it and I take out another sword and stabbed it. It started flailing around, but after a while it stopped.

When it stopped moving the sparks stopped coming out of its arm. I stare at it for a while waiting for it to disappear like the Onis. Instead it stayed there. Why isn't it disappearing like the Onis? I ignore it and sit down. When I sat down two boxes appeared.

You entered the "Machinery and more!" dungeon.

Why would anyone want to name this dungeon that? I close the box and move on to the next one.

I click yes and the box closes. I look at the place I came from. When I looked, I saw a wall of water. In the middle of the water I saw that it was moving around in a circle. Please tell me I don't have to go back in the water to get back out. I sigh and lean back on the wall. I felt that the wall was wet, then I remembered that I was wet from the before. I change out of my clothes and I hear something come from the water. I take out my katana and stand up. I see Anenoid get thrown out of the wall of water and he lands with a thud. He stands up and walks towards me.

Where was he when I was fighting? "What took you so long?"

"It takes awhile to enter the dungeon. Plus, I didn't want you to drown." He walks past me and then he suddenly stops. He turns around and reaches out his hand towards me. "Can I have my sword? I don't want to fight with my bare hands." I nod and get up. I walked up to him and pulled out his sword. When I did my body quickly dropped to the floor just from how heavy it was. I take my hand off it and I hear Anenoid laugh. He goes up to it and easily picks it up. How could anyone pick up that thing!? It weights like two hundred pounds! "Alright get ready I don't know what is in the dungeon. There could other people in here." I nod and I start to walk down the hall.

Anenoid follows me and we shortly come across a room. The room had three different passage on each side of the room. The room itself was pretty big. On the right there was this metal shack that had stairs leading up to it. Scattered across the room there were boxes. Some were stacked while others were on their sides. There were pipes and wires leading to each different passageway. What they were connected to I didn't know. When I looked closer some wires and pipes were just there. I wonder what the other pipes and wires that are connected do. I look at the middle of the room and notice a weird machine that looked like a capsule releasing smoke.

I look around the room to see if anything wanted to kill me. When I saw that nothing wanted to kill me, I relaxed and started to walk to the metal shack. As I was walking, I hear a loud siren coming from the middle of the room. I turned around and I saw multiple creatures coming from the sides of the machine. God dammit! I'm not fully recovered from the fight from earlier! How Ami supposed to fight! When the creatures were finally out of the machine, I saw what I was fighting from earlier. The thing I was fighting was in the shape of a raptor, but instead of the scaly skin it was covered in metal. The metal raptor had a light blue tone to the metal. On the back there were big metal spikes that were glowing a bright blue.

The other creature looked like a regular sized human but like the raptor was made of metal. This time the robot had a boring peach color to its metal. In its hand there were weapons. Some were katanas while the others had different weapons that I couldn't recognize. Before I did anything, I used Inspect on the human robots.

Robot (Human) -Lvl 57

A type of robot from the "Machinery and more!" dungeon. This robot has the body type of an average human. The robot can use any type of weapon. Other than that, it can't do anything else.

This type of robot doesn't sound too bad. Well at least compared to the other type of robot I fought. I close the box and notice that there was a lot of human robots and less of the raptor robots. Are the human robots the more common one in this dungeon? I look at one of the raptor shaped robots and use inspect on it.

Robot (Raptor)-Lvl 55

A type of robot from the Machinery and more!" dungeon. This type of robot has the body type of a raptor. This robot usually tries to rush their opponent and their weapons are perfect for rushing. Their claws and limbs can extend if it needs to. When it gets a cut sparks will come out of the cut. The main thing to remember when fighting this robot is not get near it, but you will probably get close to the robot anyway.

From what I can tell it relies on its speed to attack. I take a few steps back until I back up into a box. When my back touched the box, a raptor rushed at me. I used Wind's Cannon to jump to the side. When I was in the air, I felt something going towards my chest. I looked down a little and I saw a ray of blue coming towards me. Instinctively I use the wind to catch the ray of blue. It stops and disappears.

I landed on my feet and I'm immediately met face to face with a human robot. The robot slashes at me with his sword. I barely doge it by jumping back. I bring my swords hilt to my side and with my blade in front of me. I charge at him like I how I would imagine someone charging with a lance. The robot swipes at my sword and my sword goes to the right of him. I lose my balance and I see the robot bring up his fist. As I was stumbling, I run right into the robot's hand. I get knocked onto my back and I see a raptor stand over me.

I close my eyes and use Wind Slash to cut off the raptors arm. The raptor jumps a few feet back and I quickly get back on my feet. I turn to run to a safe place, but I see that I was surrounded by robots. This doesn't look good. I look around for a chance to escape, but I got distracted by the machine in the middle of the room. I see it release smoke and once again a few more robots came out of the machine. I get slightly annoyed at the thought of fighting more robots.

I breathe in deeply and exhale. How do I get pass the robots? Actually, where is Anenoid? Shouldn't he be helping me!? I didn't get much time to rest since a raptor rushed at me. I look at the raptor and use Wind's Arrow. The arrow goes through its head and the raptor quickly drops to the ground. I guess if I get rid of the head they die.

I get a tingle in my right arm and suddenly I felt something go through my shoulder. I was forced to take a step back just from the amount of force the thing hit me with. I drop my katana and use my left hand to clench my arm. I look for what shot me, and I see a human robot using a few boxes as cover. I look closely at the robot at the robot to see what he shot me with. I look at his hand and my eyes widen. Why does it have a gun! That isn't fair! I calm down and I bend down to pick up my katana. I see the robot aim at me again and I knock over a box with the wind. The box falls on top of the robot and it gets knocked to the floor.

Some robots look at the fallen robot and then look back at me. I feel my lips form a smirk as I get an idea. I put my sword back in my inventory and I take out a small Mp potion. I use the wind to pick up multiple boxes. For some reason the robots didn't react to this. I see a raptor back up a few feet. I think I'm seeing a pattern here. The raptors attack first and then the human robots follow up on their attack. I look at the feet of the raptor and the claw on its feet twitch. Shortly after the twitch the raptor runs at me. I use one of the boxes to smash the raptor and then I bring the other boxes to the ground. When they were on the ground, I start to randomly move them around. The boxes smashed into multiple robots and most of the robots were on the ground. I open the Mp potion with my teeth and I drink it.

I feel something try to sneak up behind me, so I take the potion away from my lips and throw it at what ever robot was coming towards me. I see that that it was a human robot. The robot uses his sword to slash the bottle. Well it would have been cool if it worked. I use the opportunity to bring the boxes up into the air to start smashing the robots on the floor. The robot from before took a few steps towards me. I drop the boxes and I rush the robot. I see robot get ready to slash my left arm. I take out my katana and the robot tries to cut me. I use my sword to block it. The force of the robot's strike was enough to force me to lean to the right so that I wouldn't get cut with his sword. We stayed like that for a few seconds until my arm was starting to get tired. I use Wind's Slash to cut the robots torso. The robot was forced to take a step back and I used the chance to use the wind to knock the robot's sword out of its hand. I rush at the robot and I used the last of my remaining strength to strike the robots neck. The head comes off and I hear my self-breathing heavily. I look around and see that Anenoid was beating the machine that started it all with his sword.

I look around again and see that all the robots were all on the ground. I collapse to the ground and lay on my back. I don't want to do this anymore. I close my eyes and I hear Anenoid yell, "Oh shit!" I sit back up and I see the machine start releasing smoke. I get back up on my feet and take out a Health potion to drink. I feel my arm go back to normal and I move it around a little, but I still felt a little sore. I see a raptors head start to come out of the machine. What should I do!? I don't know why but my first idea was to use my Fire Spitting skill. I bring up my hands and think, "Please work. Just this once." I feel my hands move on their own and I feel fire being to come up my throat. The fireball comes out and it hits the machine. The machine explodes and I hear a slight ringing in my ears. Thank god it worked!

I look around the room and see a bunch of robot corpses on the ground. I wonder if the rest of the dungeon will be like this?
