(Ivan's POV)

I searched around the place, but I couldn't find anything. I sigh and sit down on one of the seats in the theater. Where the hell do I go from here? I stretch and I notice the ring. Maybe Android knows something? I put out my hand and I take out Android. He looks at me with anger in his eyes and says, "What the hell do you want?" I try to ignore that statement, so I ask him about the dungeon. He starts to walk away, but then he turns around. I follow him to the side of the stage and I see him reach for the wall. When he touches the wall it, the bricks start to move and a doorway appears. Why did he have to hide there? That's so annoying.

"Seriously you had to put it there?" He ignores me and starts to walk in the room. When I enter the room, I see that compared to the dungeon it looked like how I would imagine a teenager's room would look like. As I look around the room, I see a bookshelf. I go to it and I see some book names I didn't know. I see a book called One Punch man, I open the book and I was immediately confused. The books I was comfortable with had the pages going from left to right, but these books went from right to left. What the hell? What kind of books are these? I look at the bookshelf and decide to take all his books. I take out multiple books and, in my opinion, there was some questionable covers. There were names like Fairy Tale, Bleach, Durarara, and a few others. The one that caught my attention was a book named Soul Eater.

The cover had two girls on it. One girl had pigtails and was holding a scythe with someone coming out of the scythe. The other girl looked like a witch and she was sitting on a pumpkin behind the first girl. After I put all the books in my inventory, I turned around and I saw a TV with an Xbox 360 was connected to it. I go up to it and I try to disconnect it, but Android stopped me. "Wait! I want to use it a little bit. Can you please wait a little bit more?" I see him look at me with sadness in his eyes. How attached is he to the Xbox?

I sigh and back away from it. I see him turn on the Xbox and get a controller. When he gets the controller, he sits on the floor right in front of the TV. I look around his room and I see that there was nothing else to search other than his dresser. I don't want to look in his dresser, it probably has nothing in it. I sit down on his bed that was in the corner and I watch him play on the Xbox. I see him start to play a game called Left 4 Dead 2. I didn't know what he was doing but he was getting smashed into walls or getting humped by some midget zombie.

As I watch him, I wonder if the game was hard or if he was just bad. Deciding to piss him off I say, "How many times are you going to die? That game looks so easy and yet you can't get pass the mall part. I bet I can do better" He looks back at me with anger in his eyes. I feel my face turn into a smirk, but a box quickly appears in front of me. I didn't get to read the box since I see Android get up and start to walk to his dresser. He opens up the top part of the dresser and he starts to look for something, I assume he was probably done playing the game and he was just looking for another one, so I ignore him and read the box.

Thanks to a specific action you did, you got a new skill!

Lvl1(4%) Taunt- You can piss people off. You 're a dick, aren't you? When you use this skill successfully the person you made angry will do something stupid most of the time. Chance of happening 5%.

When I finished reading the box I start to laugh. I see Android look back at me with a glare before he turns back around to get something from his dresser. I stop laughing when he walks to me with something in his hand. He opens his hand and tosses me a controller. He quits to the main menu and looks at me. "Are you going to join or not?" I look at the screen and see a 'Press A to join'. Fuck where is the A button. I look at the controller and press A. When the game starts, I move so that I was sitting next to Android. I see other characters start moving and then there was me, who didn't know how to move or how to shoot. I look at Androids fingers and I try to copy them. When I was sure I knew what I was doing I stop copying Android's movement.

I didn't know the plot of the game so the only thing I could tell you was that the game started on the roof. Other than that, I knew so far that we had to get to point A to point B without dying. The only thing in your way was normal zombies, and then there was zombies that had their own abilities. One zombie could use their tongues to choke you and some even spit acid or vomit at you. The only thing I wasn't sure about was this one special zombie called a Jockey. The jockey was a midget and was hunched. The way it killed you was questionable. It jumps on you and puts its hands around your neck while it rides you. I couldn't tell if you it was choking or if it was humping you. Later on, in the game I was convinced that they did hump you when one of the characters said, "Dude, I hear one of them back-humpers around."

In the end though we did manage to finish the mall part by escaping in a car. When the credits start, I see Android put down his controller on the ground. He gets up and stretches. When he was done stretching, he sits back down and says, "Damn you're good for someone who doesn't live near civilization." What the hell does he mean by that? I live in a goddamn city.

"Are you retarded? I live in Chicago." He quickly looks at me with a surprised look on his face. "Why are you surprised?"

He ignores the question and instead asks his own question, "You were trained in a camp, right?"

"No, why?" Android's body and face froze, but before I asked if he was okay, he asked another question.

"Were you sent by your gods to this dungeon?" Why is he asking so many weird questions? I just want to go back to playing the game.

"No, I don't know any gods personally." Without another second passing he says something else.

"Were you at least trained by someone in your mythology?"

I let out a loud sigh and say, "No. But I was trained by someone who can use Soul."

I look back at him and his looks like he was in shock. "Do you have some kind of special ability? Like you can copy any action or something like that?" If I had a special power, I wouldn't have almost died to you.

"I can control the wind. Does that count?"

"No not like that. Like anything else that no one can do." Should I tell him about the weird gaming system? I thought about it for a few seconds and decided that if he was my slave, I should at least get him to trust me. "I can see boxes that shows me my stats and powers. Oh, I also get quests that give me rewards when I complete them."

He thinks about it for a little bit before he says with a skeptical look, "Can you actually see them?"I nod my head and his mouth quickly turns into a smile. "Oh, I get it! You have a mental disability! It's okay even though you may be a little crazy you shouldn't let that hold you back." Wait no. How do I even respond to this? He pats me on the head. Get your hand off me.

"No, I 'am sure I don't have a mental disability." He takes his hand off me and looks at me.

"I forgot you're a child. I guess it will pass when you are older. But you don't have to lie about not having a special power. I can tell you are related to the Xochixoch clan. Even though I thought your clan decided to stay away from gods." I have never heard of that name before. Where is he even getting these thoughts?

"The what clan? I've never heard of them before. Are they someone important?" I don't know why, but he looked more shocked than he did before.

He leaned towards my face and kind of screamed in a panicked voice, "You don't know who they are!" He stopped to catch his breath and then said in a calmer voice, "They are an extremely powerful clan in the Void. They have an inherited power that is rumored to have came from the gods. They can store stuff in their bodies kind of like how you did before. They can do much more though, like teleporting, manipulate anything, or they can create anything out of nothing. And that is only one of their abilities! They also have another power that is related to Soul. Okay so when one of the clan members has a child, that child will have as much Soul as their parent. Not only that but they will also be as skilled as their parent with Soul at birth. So, every child they have the more powerful the clan gets." What the hell? How can one family be so powerful? That isn't fair, I want that power.

"Well I can't be related to them; my last name is Torres."

"Well either way that take anything out of nowhere thing is a special skill, so just try to train it." It would be nice if he told me how. He turned back around and started the next level. When we were in the middle of playing, I wonder why did he act so shocked when I told him I had nothing to do with the gods or a camp. I waited until we were in a calm part of the level to ask him.

"Hey Android, why did you think that I lived in a camp or that the gods sent me here?" He pauses the game and looks down.

"Well I knew you were a demigod because I put a spell on this dungeon so only demigods can find this place." Okay that wasn't the question but go on. "I thought you were sent by the gods since almost all demigods can't use their powers without doing a specific action. The Japanese have their hand signs, the Aztecs and Mayans have their spell books, and well other religions have their own thing. Only well-trained demigods can use their powers without doing what ever they have to do. The only place for demigods to train is in their own little spaces. Most of these places are camps. The demigods there can train and live there without worrying about any monsters attacking them. Only the demigods who have any living family or who are important to the gods can leave. So, when I saw you using your powers freely I thought you came from a camp and wasted your life there." When he was finished, I saw that he had a tear in his eye. He wiped it away and resumed the game.

As we were playing, I remembered that his mom was killed by a god. I guess he would hate living in place where there would be gods. I see him in the corner of my eye I see him shift around uncomfortably. I wonder if he knows where the Japanese camp is? Knowing this will most likely upset him I decide to ask. "Do you know where the Japanese demigod camp is?" He doesn't look away from the screen and responds with an answer I was not expecting.

"Don't worry about it. Soon you will be one of the last demigods alive. Just stay away from any demigod camp and you will live. Plus, I don't know where it is." I decide to not ask about the first part because I don't want to get caught in whatever is happening to the demigods in camps.

We continue to play the game until we were at the last part. The last part was about the main characters starting a concert to call down a helicopter to escape. The only problem was that we kept dying before the helicopter can reach the ground. On our most recent attempt we were a few seconds away before we got trapped by the zombies with abilities. "God fuckin dammit! Fuck I need a smoke." (Authors note:I don't encourage anyone to smoke. Please don't, it's bad for your health.) He gets up to search around in his dresser. Well I didn't know he smokes. He comes back with a box of cigarettes in one hand. I sit there uncomfortably as he puts a cigarette in his mouth. When it was in his mouth, he spoke the strange language from before. He puts his finger to the end of the cigarette and his finger catches on fire.

Did he really use his powers to light a cigarette? You know what that was smart I will give him that. I hear him breathe in slowly and then I see smoke come out of his mouth. I wish he would stop, I want to play the game. I feel Android tap me on the shoulder and I see him holding the box up to me. He takes the cigarette out of his mouth and holds it in his other hand. "I know I shouldn't be offering you one, but I think we both need to relax. So just take it."

I slowly reach for a cigarette and I put it in my mouth. I see him raise his cigarette to the end of mine. When his hand gets closer to me, I hear my heartbeat. The two cigarettes connect, and I accidentally inhale. I feel the smoke go down my throat and I start to cough. Android picks up his controller and says, "You'll get used to it. But don't expect a cigarette from me often its only for tonight. Maybe when you're older." We continue to play on the Xbox, and when we were finished with the level and we decide to finish the game.

(Ivan's POV)

I don't know how but we managed to beat the whole game. Well except a few levels since we had to pay for those. But we did manage to beat the game! In the middle of us playing I unlocked a new skill.

Video Gaming- Your life is a game and yet you still decide to play videogames. Don't you think it's kind of ironic? Well at least you have a hobby.

Lvl 3(87%) FPS games- You can shoot stuff in a game. You're just bad at it.

I don't know why it had to insult me. I thought the boxes were supposed to help me. I see Android begin to disconnect everything and when he was finished, he gave me all the cords and the console to put in my Inventory. I see Android start to look for something in the bottom part of his dresser. When he was done, I see walk towards me with ten cases. Why does he have so much? He hands me the cases and the one on the top was a game called Call of Duty Black Ops 2. I wonder what this one is about? I didn't bother to look at the other cases and I put all of them in my inventory.

When we were done packing, we both made our way out of the dungeon. When we got out, I see a box telling me that the quest was complete. I look at my rewards and I see a skill disk. I wonder what that does. I decide to look at it later because I wanted to look at my new perk.

Thanks to you completing a quest you got a new perk!

Sixth sense- You can detect attacks before they hit you. Use the chance to doge the attacks.

This feels powerful. I just hope that I can be fast enough to doge the attacks. When I closed that box another box appeared in front of me saying I leveled up.

You leveled up 1 time!

Hp:117/117

Mp:95/95

Stamina:130/130

Str: 46+2=48(51)

Dex: 50+1=51(57)

Vit: 46+1=47(51)

Wis: 51+1=52

Int: 43+2=45

Luck:36+2=38

Points: 17

I smile as I see my new stats. Damn I didn't expect to get this powerful so quickly. It almost feels like I'm cheating. I see Android go up to the dungeon's entrance and kiss the wall. I swear I heard him say, "I will miss you my lover." I wonder if we have to leave this place.

"Why don't we just stay here? It seems safe and plus I doubt people will find this place." He turns around and says, "Because the guy that sold it to me said that if I died or if I didn't want it the place would collapse."

"Where can we buy a place then? I can try to earn the money and buy a place to live." "I got it from a shop in Magebourne. Its expensive so we should probably get some jobs in Magebourne."

"Where is that?"

He looks at me and says, "Put me in the ring and I will tell you the way." I raised my hand I imagined him going into the ring. In only a few seconds he was in the ring. Hey I'm getting good with magic stuff. How is he supposed to tell me where to go though? Almost like Android was waiting for me to think about that I hear him say "Hey can you hear me? HELLLOOOOOO!" Shut up! How do I talk to him? I try to think that I was talking to him

'Yeah shut up I can hear you.'

'Finally you answer'.

'So why are you speaking in my head?'

'It's one of the benefits of having the ring. You can talk to your slaves in or out of the ring.'

'So why didn't you help earlier when I was looking in the dungeon?"

'Because I was mad at you for interrupting me and killing me!'

I try to not to get mad at him and I ask, 'So where do I go?' I feel a sensation telling me to walk forward.

'You feel that? Just go towards that direction.'

'This better be the right way.' I leave the dungeon prepared to never see it again. I don't know why but I feel a little bit sad leaving the dungeon behind. But now at least I can finally have a place of my own! Well hopefully.
