"Says the door is not locked. We can go in. Ready?" Danny asked from Conor. Conor nodded and looked at the haunted house once more. 

"Let's go."

The two walked through the walk path in front of the house to the door. Danny paused for a bit on the steps of the house. 

"What?" Conor asked from Danny, startled by his reaction. 

"Nothing... Just weird feeling. Come on! Let's go." said Danny and stepped in front of the door.

Then, he slowly reached for the knob and as he touched the knob, the door suddenly opened wide. 

With a creaking noise, the door opened wide. 

The house was utterly dark. There was a hallway leading in to a room, that Danny guessed was the living room. 

"Let's take a look around." said Danny and walked into the house. Conor looked at the walls on either sides. 

There were holes and some old pictures that had been hanging there for a while now.
