38 Tracking Down

Reno was following the trail of the car through the streets. 

The wipers cleared the rainwater as the car moved forward.

"Jesus! It's raining like hell!" 

Reno yelled as he slowly drove the car. 

"Yes of course! It's like this, every year! It always rains like hell in Calliberone! Wait till the fall!" said Danny. 

Reno was not from Calliberone, so he didn't know much about it. He had just moved into the city a year ago.

"Hmm... You're from Calliberone?" asked Claus from Danny. 

"Yes," answered Danny. Most of the people who live there move out after living there for about 10 years. 

Everyone knew why he asked and each one of them was shocked. 

*Poor kid...* thought Conor, looking at Danny. Everyone of them was hoping to move out of the city. Even Hannah. 

Reno followed the figure to a shop. Then, the figure dropped out. It was a burger shop. Then, the figure came out holding something in his hands. 

"This motherfucker is buying a burger!" yelled Reno. 

"Must be a young dude then." said Conor, looking at the massive burger shop. He was going to drool if he kept looking at it.

Then, the figure got back into the car. The car started to move once again. 

After another 4 or 5 stops, the car finally came to a neighborhood. The car stopped at the turn. The figure got out of the car.

Suddenly, about two bikes and a car gathered up to the place. All the people were purple figures. 

The figures talked for a while. 

"Yes! A pack!" jabbered Reno.

Most of the werewolves have packs. So Reno was hoping for the man to have a pack too.

Suddenly, a large car came and pulled up by the place. All the figures standing there got into the large car, except the men riding the bikes. 

"We got something! I think there's a whole pack!" said Reno following the trail of the SUV. 

"Good! Well... How many werewolves?" asked Claus from Reno. 

Reno counted the figures. 

"About 6?" said Reno. Claus scratched his face. "6? That's like... Get yourselves ready for a real bumpy ride!" said Claus.

Reno laughed. "Why? What if it's newbies? Then we'll just slaughter them like sheep!" jabbered Reno.

Claus covered his face with his palm. "Sheep? What if these things are higher levels?" asked Claus.

"Then, you defeat them all!" said Reno.

"Just drive man! Let's see how it goes, after we reach there!" said Claus.

The SUV led back to Calliberone. It was still raining heavily. The figures weren't that clear even. They were back in Calliberone, driving through the town.

"Oh fuck! We're back in the town!" yelled Conor. Claus looked at Conor from the back mirror.

"Of course! Didn't I tell you? It might take all day long!" uttered Claus. 

Danny and Hannah were busy with their mobiles. They were typing away rapidly. They were chatting with their online friends.

"Look at your friends! Get busy on your phone!" said Draco who was reading the daily tweets. 

Conor looked back at Draco. Draco was in the far back of the van. Today, Draco was wearing glasses. The team of seniors has changed now. 

"Fucking hell man! I was focusing on this shit for so long! I'm gonna tweet! I had enough!" said Conor as he got the phone and started to post random tweets. 

Claus and Reno laughed. 

Draco quickly found Conor's Twitter account and checked out his tweets, giggling. 

The SUV was leading down the street. Suddenly, it stopped and parked by the side of the pavement.

"Wait! It stopped!" 

Everyone's attention went to Reno. 

Suddenly, all the figures got out of the car and started to walk down the pavement. 

There were two old buildings beside the road. Reno was still following the 6 figures. 

Suddenly, all 6 of them disappeared in between the two buildings. Danny finally figured out what the place was. It was the secret hideout of the crazy Calliberone teens. 

Mostly thugs, bullies and some people gathered up here. It was popular. 

"You go in as a kid going through puberty. You lose your virginity when you come back out!" 

The words echoed through Danny's mind. It was the words of the kids in school. It was a very popular club. 

"Heh? So the whole club are werewolves?" blabbered out Danny. 

Everyone looked at Danny.

"You know this place?" asked Claus from Danny. 

"Yes of course! It's the friggin midnight club! Every teen is there in the summer and some even come here on the weekends!" answered Danny. 

Reno started at the dark place. 

"Well! Let's go then shall we?" asked Reno from the group.

Hannah looked at Reno. "Didn't he say nightclub! Let's wait till night so we won't get that much attention.." said Hannah. 

Reno laid back in his seat and tapped in the steering wheel thinking for a bit. 

"Hmmm... You're right! Since we know what this place is and it's a public place... We should come back at night!" said Reno. 

"What you say, Claus?" 

Claus looked at Reno. "I agree with that!"

Then, the whole group agreed on the plan. Danny looked at the time.

[ 11:30 am ]

It wasn't even 12 yet. He could still finish some of his freelancing if he got back to his house in time. 

"Yes! I agree too! Need to do some work!" said Danny. All of them agreed to Hannah's decision. Then, Reno drove back to their house and dropped the newbies back at their houses.

At about 6:45 pm Danny received a message from Draco. 

*Now come back! We are going to head off!* 

Danny quickly rushed out of the house. Clara wasn't home. She had gone to her friend's house. 

Hannah was there as usual. Both of them headed to the Longwood mansion. 

Suddenly, Clara saw Danny walking along the road with Hannah. She was right on time. She quickly jumped behind the tree on her lawn and hid watching the two going along.

"So you had a date bro! Should've just told me!" giggled Clara. She saw  the two of them entering the Longwood mansion. 

"Wait! Woah!! Bro is going into that old mansion!" said Clara. 

She slowly sneaked a little more further. 

All the other four were in front of the garage. "What is he doing with those guys! And that's Reno!" yelled Clara. 

She was shocked to see him. She hadn't seen the man in years. 

"What the hell is this!" 

Then, the whole group got into the van, and took off. Clara hid behind a tree as they drove away through the street.

"It's too much SUS now!"
