17 Survival Quests ~ part 02 ~

~ Draco and Hannah ~

"So, what's your name girl?" asked Draco, to break the silence. They were outside the house, walking to the garage. 

"Hannah... And you?" 

"Draco.." answered Draco. 

"You know, our family wrote a lot of vampire codexes. Those teached me to survive this long.." said Draco as they walked along the walk path to the garage. 

Hannah took a look at the street. It was Parker's Lane. Their own neighbourhood. 

*Wait! This is just 7 houses away from ours!* 

Hannah caught a glimpse of her own house. Since Hannah was a new girl to the neighborhood, she didn't know much about it.

"So.. Vampire codexes? I never really knew much about this.. My grandfather always taught me.." 

The girl said to Draco as he opened the pull up door of the garage. 

"Oh.. your family must've quitted the vampire business for their own good then.." chuckled Draco.

"Ours didn't end up quite well.. The constant killing, murdering.. they had to go for good.."

"Ohhh.. I'm sorry.." said the girl, mournfully. 

Draco got on his bike and started it. It was an old and classic motorcycle. 

*BRRRRRRRR*

The engine roared as he started the bike. "Well.. Hop in.. let's talk in the way.." beamed Draco. 

Draco had a kind and innocent face. He had the most gentle smile. Hannah got in the back with Draco. 

"Where are we going?" asked Hannah from the man. 

"It's called a nightclub.." said Draco with an unusual witty smile. 

"Wait what?"

Hannah was frightened by the thought. She had never gone into a club by herself. *I'm still a kid!*

Draco looked at the back mirror and took a look at Hannah's face. He saw the fear in her eyes. 

"Don't worry child! Your time is about right! And for god's sake you're a 16 year old!" Draco tried to calm her down. 

"But- but.."

"No buts! Let's just move.. Otherwise it's killing innocent people living in the streets. Better sucking the blood of those dirty ass holes in clubs!"

Hannah didn't know what to do. "What the hell should I do? How do I complete my survival quest here??"

Draco speeded up. The wind blowing on Hannah's hair got stronger and stronger as he speeded up. Her hair was flowing in the air like a floating fabric.

Hannah held on to Draco tighter. "Hold on tight girl, don't fall off and lose the game.." chuckled Draco. 

They were out of the neighborhood now. They were on the main road to Calliberone now. 

"And about completing the quest.. Kiss a boy and go for the neck.. Drunk losers will never figure it out.."

Draco blurted as they rode to the nightclub. Hannah couldn't believe it. She was doing some unnecessary things at her age. If her parents find that out, they will kill her. 

But if she doesn't complete the quest, her system will kill her.

The streets were gloomily lit up with some light poles here and there. There weren't many cars because most of the people who lived outside the town finished their work early. 

Draco turned into the town's main street after a short while. The town was filled with a lot of buildings. Calliberone was always a busy place. 

There were always people walking by in the busy town. The city at night was beautiful. All the street lights, the lights from the buildings and the cars lit up the place well.

They rode through the main bridge, that seperated the long river from the town, leading to the main parts of the town. The large shopping malls made the place even more busy.

As they rode through the traffic into the large town, a huge building that said "Corby's Late Nights" was on the left to them.

There was a parking lot under the building. Draco turned and halted their bike in the car park, which was running out of spots.

"Let's go," said Draco as he got out of the bike and helped Hannah. 

"Be chill.. Don't hesitate.." 

Draco tried to encourage the little girl. Then both of them entered the building. 

Hundreds of people were inside the club dancing, drinking, smoking or gambling. Corby's was known to be the playground of the thugs. 

Since Hannah was out of town, she didn't know much about the people in Calliberone. 

There wasn't even any space to move. 

"People!!!!! THE DJ IS STARTING!! GET READY!!" 

A man on the stage screamed out. It was a black guy wearing a blue t-shirt. The golden bracelets and the chains around his neck made him look classic.

"And this is our queue!" Draco jabbered to Hannah as he got hold of her hand. 

"Awake your inner beauty, take the steps to be a woman!" 

Draco pushed her into the crowd.

Hannah was frightened to death. But she had to do as he said. 

"Watch and learn.. " whispered Draco as he went backwards into the crowd. 

Girls and boys were dancing in the large crowd. All of them were drunk. There were 2 hot girls dancing beside Draco. 

"He-hey girls.. looking good today.." said Draco as he went closer to the girls.  

"Hi handsome.." flirted, the 2 girls who were utterly drunk. Both of them came closer to Draco and placed their hands over his shoulders.

"Wanna dance?" asked one of the girls. "Hell yeah.." jabbered Draco.

The DJ turned on the music and everybody was dancing. Most of the drunk people were out of their minds.

The girl pushed Draco back to a wall. Suddenly Draco turned the girl around and pushed her to the wall. 

Then the two suddenly started to kiss each other. The girl was too drunk. She was around the age of 18 or 17. 

She was wearing a long red wrap dress. Draco stroked her black hair and slowly kissed her down to her neck. 

Draco was a blood thirsty vampire. He was a well trained one. The girl was wrapping her hands around Draco's neck. 

The whole club was busy dancing to the music. 

Draco slowly opened his mouth as he kissed the girl's neck. The two fangs slowly sunk into the girl's neck. 

The gum in a vampire's fangs makes the slight sting when you inject the fangs to the skin, numb.

Draco slowly sucked the blood of the girl and filled up his quest.

[ Survival Quest completed ]

Hannah was lost in the crowd. She didn't know anything about these.

Suddenly a teen almost her age, walked up to her. "Hey darling.."

The boy flirted with Hannah. He was drunk like everyone else in the club. Hannah didn't know what to say. But she has seen some things like this in movies.

"Hey,"

Hannah managed to pull together some words. There were millions of people dancing. There wasn't even any space to walk around.

The lights were flashing everywhere. The disco ball emitted some blinding lights. 

The boy suddenly fell towards her. He was almost unconscious. It was only a matter of time before the boy fell down.

Suddenly the girl who was with Draco became unconscious. Draco quickly leaned her against his shoulder and took her to a chair.

He placed the girl on the chair and slowly stepped away, as no-one was looking. 

Then he turned around and saw Hannah.

*Lucky day! Already unconscious!!* thought Draco and gave off a witty smile.

Suddenly Hannah saw Draco. The boy was now leaning against Hannah's shoulder. 

Draco pointed his two fingers at his fangs and then pointed at the boy's neck. 

Hannah clearly knew what he meant. *Wait a minute! This is good* said Hannah looking at the unconscious boy. 

She slowly pushed him back into a wall. Then suddenly she sank her fangs down to the boy's neck. 

[ Survival Quest completed ]

As the quest completed, she slowly backed away from the boy. The boy blinked twice or thrice. He was feeling dizzy. 

Suddenly he fell down to the ground. 

"Another one down!! Huahaha!!!"

A drunk man howled as the teen fell down. Suddenly, Draco grabbed Hannah by her hand and dragged her through the busy crowd. 

After some time, they left the nightclub. 

"Lucky day huh girl? Well.. most of the time I come here to complete my quests!" said Draco, praising the girl.

Hannah smiled. Draco was a kind person, but he was something, deep down. 

"Thank you for helping out Draco," said Hannah, smiling kindly at him. 

Draco got on the motorcycle and Hannah got seated behind him. Draco started the cycle and both of them took off back to their house.
