10 A wedding gift without a wedding

Kahoru was surprised at herself that she let her own husband do her shopping. He had much better taste than her.

The four had found a place to sit. It was next to a cafe called Latte co. Hiraizawa went to order drinks for everyone.

After finding a large range of formal dresses, a few hats and several pairs of shoes, It made Kaho very tired. Although she stayed on her feet much longer at work, shopping for clothes was much more tiring.

"It's 3pm. We will find some jewellery and get you ready."

"Ready? Isn't it just a dinner?"

"Your clothes are no good. Go and change in the clothes we bought."

"Okay..."

"Master and my lady, Here is your coffee." Hiraizawa came back and handed everyone their drinks.

Kahoru got a hot chocolate and everyone else got coffee. She didn't like coffee. It tasted weird to her. While she drank her coffee, Tanaka, Hiraizawa and Takahiro were talking about business. It wasn't important but she still listened.

"After you drop the things off, Hiraizawa you are finished for the day and Tanaka come back to take me to Yashihodou."

"Yes Master." Both Tanaka and Hiraizawa spoke at the same time, they took off with several bags in their hands."

"Pouty, get changed in these and come back."

"Okay." Kahoru took the few bags in her hands and headed for the bathroom to change. It was awkward changing in a small bathroom but she survived that ordeal.

After getting changed Kahoru, walked out back to Takahiro. As she walked, each step she too, there were people giving her a look at admiration. She could hear people whispering to their friends.

"Look at her! isn't she beautiful?"

"Is she a model?"

"She looks like a celebrity!"

Kahoru's face felt hot as she walked passed. She wasn't used to getting compliments. When she came back, Takahiro was playing a game on his phone. He then heard a soft voice calling his name.

"Takahiro."

He looked up and saw a red faced Kahoru looking at the ground. She was fidgeting with her hands. How cute. He was amazed.

Every outfit she wore suited her. There was not an outfit that didn't suit Kahoru, and that was why Takahiro bought all of them. It was their first day of marriage yet Takahiro was already spoiling her.

Kahoru wore a grey turtle neck sweater and a long high waisted black skater skirt that ended at the start of her ankles. She wore tights that matched her white skin and wore black ankle laced boots. She had light makeup on and baby pink lipstick on her lips.

Her hair was untied. It looked like she had just fixed her hair while she changed. Kahoru looked at Takahiro, and she realised she matched him.

He wore a Grey suit with a black dress shirt and a black tie.

"Did you pick this so it would match you?"

"Yes."

With that straightforward answer, Kahoru turned her back towards Takahiro and covered her mouth. She was flustered.

Suddenly the bags with her old clothes was taken from her. She immediately turned around and Takahiro was holding them. Takahiro handed the bags over to Tanaka who came back.

"Throw these out."

"Okay Boss!"

"H-hey my clothes."

Tanaka walked away quickly and as Kahoru was about to run after him, Takahiro grabbed her arm and led her to the opposite direction.

"You don't need to worry about your clothes."

"Ah..."

They walked towards a jewellery store. Takahiro still pulled her along by the arm. They stopped to look at the necklaces and rings. Kahoru was more horrified than interested. She was right in front of Love Luxury.

Takahiro and Kahoru walked into the store and looked at the jewellery. The attendant was showing them around and asking what they wanted. Takahiro wasn't interested in their designs and Kahoru kept looking around. she did not want to run into Keiichi or Risa.

"Ring!"

Takahiro's phone rung. He looked at the caller and picked up.

"I will be back."

"Mm okay."

With that, Takahiro walked out of the store, leaving her alone. The attendant showed her around. The store looked pretty, but Kahoru wasn't interested in anything.

As she looked, a lady had come out from her office. The attendant bowed.

"Manager Hasegawa. Good work today."

"Thank you miss Oda."

Risa's eye caught onto Kahoru who was looking at the Jewellery. That girl again? Was she trying to hit on her fiancé?

She walked up to Kahoru and cleared her throat. "Good afternoon, Dr. Yukimura."

"Oh hello."

Kahoru acted like she don't know her name, as if no one introduced her. So she used this as an advantage.

"Feel free to look around. If you're interested in anything, please talk to our workers."

"Thank you."

Kahoru felt Risa glaring at her. As she did, Kahoru's phone rung. It was Takahiro.

"Hello?"

"I found a nicer place. Meet me there."

"Okay I'll be there." Kahoru hung her phone up and turned to look at Risa.

"I must go now." Kahoru turned her back To Risa and then left the store.

she walked a few stores down to another jewellery store. It was completely white and the jewellery stood out. She walked in and was greeted by the attendants.

"Welcome."

Kahoru nodded and walked towards Takahiro's side, whose back was turned as he was looking at the jewellery.

The set the attendant took out was very beautiful. There was a gold necklace with a diamond sunflower charm, a pair of gold dangle earrings with sunflowers dangling, and a gold bracelet with mini diamond sunflowers on them.

The set was really cute. Kahoru suddenly fell in love with them.

"What do you think?"

"They're very cute."

Kahoru's eyes were focused on the jewellery. Although this brand did not have high prices for the jewellery made Kahoru satisfied.

She could afford at least the necklace and save up for the rest.

Takahiro smiled. "I'll take the whole set."

"Takahiro... you didn't need to buy them. I could've bought them on my own."

"It's a present."

"For what?"

"A wedding gift."

Since when did they have a wedding? Did he give it to her because they were just married?

How much money did this man have? He bought everything for her today yet, his wallet must've been crying. She felt guilty for sucking Takahiro's wallet dry but in his case, he didn't mind at all.

Who was he?

"Please pack everything else except the necklace."

"Yes sir."

"The attendant walked into the back room and came back with a bag and handed Takahiro the box with the necklace in it.

He opened the box. And took the necklace out. "Turn around."

Kahoru hesitantly turned around and looked at the ground. Takahiro put the necklace over her head and clipped the hook on.

The attendant brought a mirror and showed Kahoru. "It looks very nice on you!" She beamed.

"T-thank you."

"Pouty."

Kahoru turned to face Takahiro. "You look beautiful."

Her heart skipped a beat. He was smiling at her. Kahoru felt butterflies in her stomach. She gently gazed at him and her lips subconsciously curved upwards.

"Thank you."

Kahoru's innocent smile stunned Takahiro. She looked even more radiant.

"You should smile more. You look pretty with one."

The sudden compliment stopped Kaho from smiling and she turned around to make sure Takahiro didn't notice her red face.

She felt happiness for the first time in four years.
