Take responsibility?

**Knock Knock**

"Taylor, are you still awake?" Maja asked, standing calmly in front of the door to Taylor's room.

It opened slightly with a creaking sound from her knocking and Maja could hear some noises from the inside of the room.

'Why is he breathing so heavily? Wait, he groans…is he in pain?' She wondered, just to step inside after a few seconds.

If he was in pain, she had to help him!

Maja ignored Taylor's privacy for his sake, and she opened the door fully. A sweet and somewhat arousing aroma filled the room but Maja could only focus on Taylor.

He was standing right in front of his bid, holding his pants tightly. He was barely able to pull them up before Maja had already entered his room.

Eris had disappeared somewhere and Taylor had no idea where exactly she was right now.

"Is there something you wanted to tell me?" Taylor asked awkwardly, hoping that Maja's gaze would remain on his face. Sweat trickled down his temples, and he swallowed hard, trying to hide the bulge in his linen pants.

However, the pants were rather flexible, which made it difficult to hide something small, let alone his not so little, little monster.

But he was quite lucky because Maja's gaze remained on his face. She still wore the same outfit as before and held a bunch of books in her hand.

"I just thought that you might need these books. Usually, only members of the Artisan house can use it, but I thought they would be quite helpful for you," Maja said with a bright smile on her face. She couldn't hide that she was a bit embarrassed because it was quite obvious that she gave him preferential treatment.

However, it was not as if someone would complain as long nobody else knew about it!

Taylor hooded his head, still feeling awkward as he approached her slowly.

"It's really…nice of you that you rushed over to give them to me. You shouldn't have hurried so much…" Taylor said, trying hard not to sound sarcastic.

He was just having the time of his life with Eris, only for them to miss out on the best part because someone had interfered in their business.

Taylor couldn't be mad at Maja but the situation was still a bit frustrating.

He accepted the books and spoke a few more sentences with Maja before she noticed something that caused her eyes to widen.

Taylor could swear that he saw drool from the corner of her lip as her gaze involuntarily followed the area Taylor was holding his books.

Maja's cheeks turned blazing red and her head flicked upward, only to see a glimpse of Taylor's crimson eyes. They were full of vigor, which nearly caused Maja to shriek out as she avoided gazing into his eyes.

"I-I…I will take my leave…S-s-sorry for disturbing you!" Maja hurriedly said before she rushed outside his room. She didn't even close the door behind her as she fled from Taylor.

Taylor remained in the exact same position as before, but his little monster was twitching, pushing against the linen pants.

"Looks like I was not able to hide it from her," Taylor laughed before he turned to the wooden desk, where he put down the books.

He closed the door to his room and sighed deeply.

"Eris, are you here?" He asked quietly but there was no answer.

Taylor repeated the question several times but there was still no sight of Eris.

'Did she really run?' Taylor wondered, feeling a sting in his heart. For a moment, he thought that Eris would leave him forever.

However, he discarded this thought after a while, calling it nonsense.

Taylor knew that Eris wouldn't leave him, not without good reason and note.

Thus, he picked up the only thing the Demon Queen had left behind as she had been in a hurry; her panties!

They were still drenched in her love juice but Taylor just ignored that as he cleared his throat.

"I have your panties…" Taylor said as if he was making a threat with a hostage in his hands.

When Eris heard Taylor's comment, she appeared out of nowhere grasping her panties before she was ready to disappear once again.

"Don't you think we're old enough to stop playing around? Why are you avoiding the situation?" Taylor asked all of a sudden, causing Eris to halt in her tracks. She didn't dare to meet his eyes and pouted lightly as if she was frustrated with herself and the situation.

"It's embarrassing…." Eris muttered quietly, just to feel a gentle grip around her wrist. Taylor pulled her face in his direction but she didn't dare to see into his eyes.

"You know…Sometimes, I feel like I'm older than you," Taylor laughed lightly while looking at Eris' cute reaction.

"How old do you think I am?!" She suddenly asked, with a puffed face, and for the first time Eris looked into his face once again.

Eris' question was crucial to be answered correctly, otherwise, Taylor could say goodbye to his life.

"Eris, age is just a numb—..." Taylor was about to answer but Eris lifted her hand, telling him to stop.

"Forget it…just remember that I'm not that old!" Eris pointed her finger threateningly at him, but Taylor didn't take her seriously. Right now, Eris was more of a teenager with hormone swings than an imposing Demon Queen.

He grasped the finger that pointed at him and forced the young Demon Queen to look into his eyes.

She had avoided them but Taylor only smiled.

"I take responsibility for what I did, don't worry!" He just said, but Eris shook her entire body as if she was displeased with this answer.

"No nO no!! It was not supposed to be like this…How the hell am I supposed to look in your mother's eyes… Noooo….she will definitely kill me…" Eris squealed out not, realizing what she had just exposed.

'So she really knows my parents…or at least my mother. And it looks like my mother is stronger than a Demon Queen…that's…weird.' Taylor was a bit confused with the information he received from Eris' involuntary revelation.

He always thought that his parents had been normal civilians. They were perfectly normal, except that they had rarely been at home. Taylor thought that this was the case because of work, but he began to think that their work may have been differently than he first presumed.

His mother had given him the book that allowed him to awaken his Ancient Power and the innate powers that seemed to have been sealed within him.

Everything had started with his mother's book and he slowly began to doubt his origin, or rather, who the hell his parents had been.

'At least I now know that I was right when I hoped that Eris had been sent by my parents…I guess,' Taylor thought. He had yet to receive any precise answers from Eris, her connection to his family, where they were, why they left him, why Eris suddenly appeared after his dad left him and so on.

There were quite a few things Taylor wanted to know but Eris was not ready to reveal them yet, and he respected her decision.

She wouldn't hide them if it was not important to be kept a secret!

"No, I don't want you to take responsibility! How do you even want to take responsibility if I'm stronger than you, to begin with?!" Eris shouted, her voice reverberating through the room, which she had sealed off just before. She was trying to pull away from Taylor but felt that this was much harder than she expected.

"In that case, I will become stronger and make you mine!" Taylor declared with brightly burning eyes that darted straight into Eris' purple eyes. She squirmed under his confident gaze, swallowed her saliva and nodded her head, unable to say anything in return.

'I will do whatever I want and you will become mine, just wait little Demon Queen!!' Taylor swore in his mind, flashing a smile that caused Eris to shudder once again.

However, she didn't shudder in fear. On the contrary, she was excited and awaited Taylor's growth.

There was only one problem that squirmed through her mind, a very big problem at that!

'Other women started to crowd around him already…and this is bound to worsen…just how many rivals will I have to face in the future?!'
