12 Welcome

*Xe Zhoutian PoV*

Bright light enveloping my vision. And in the next moment, I had already arrived at unknown room. Looking around, I see all the walls in the place that I arrived is made of steels. Right behind me, Rashu looking around the place as well as in the same confused state as I'm in now

" where is this.. " murmured rashu as we both warily looking around our surrounding for the unexpected attacks. But after a dozen of heartbeats, there's nothing happen at all. The room is having unique design as everything in it is made of steels. And the place we standing now is right at the middle of the room, with below of our feet is some kind of circle looking big strings that, again, strings made of steels. And above our heads is some kind of steel looking device that glowing slightly of yellow light. The device is shaped like a big tube but with the tube bottom is the thing that glowing with yellow light and right above us.

Right at most front direction of the room, the walls in there split apart. And a group of people wearing some kind of weird armors walking in while bringing another weird looking stuffs in their hands. The weird looking stuffs have appearance of 'L' shape, with they are holding the tail and pointing the most tip head of the Thing to us. The thing head didn't have any tips at all as it looks like a kind of spear in glance, but there's no spear that have its tip in circle-looking-hole

" ⎅⍜⋏'⏁ ⋔⍜⎐⟒! (don't move!)" said one of the people that's wearing the armors and spoke gibberish, unrecognizable sounds. The armor is black colored armor that plated or made with full of steel. With how the design for the armor is unusual, the helmet for the armor is full faced helmets that's glowing with blue light in the place of the eyes slit hole. One of the person in the group step forward and reach his left hand to his left neck and he clicked armor part in the neck area

*Psshh*

A small sound of something can be heard as the person full faced helmet folded itself into the back of his head, and then gone without a trace as if it never existed in the first place.

….holy fuck! What kind of helmet is that!?

After the helmet gone, I see a middle aged man with brown hair in his head and beards in his chin. His eyes is green and his height is more taller than most of ordinary people you meet in street. The man then raised his right hand to his chest height and from the back of the man right wrist, a blue colored thin boxes appeared in the air and then floating in front of him

The man then raised his left hand and play with the thin boxes in the air. After playing for a while, he nodded to himself and then opened his left hand palm. And in two heartbeats of time later, a finger sized thing with blue and white color patterns emerged out of thin air to the man left hand palm

Wow… that looks almost exactly like a storage ring.. But why he played with those blue boxes though? And why those boxes come from the back of his wrist instead?

The man then reach out his left hand to my direction and walking to me slowly, while still open up his left hand palm to my direction as if want to offer up the finger sized thing to me. After our distance is close enough for him to give me surprise attack, he look into my eyes and said " ⏁⊑⟟⌇ ⟟⌇ ⍜⎍⍀ ⏁⍀⏃⋏⌇⌰⏃⏁⟟⋏☌ ⎅⟒⎐⟟☊⟒... ⍙⍜⎍⌰⎅ ⊬⍜⎍ ⌿⌰⟒⏃⌇⟒ ⏚⟒ ☊⏃⌰⋔ ⏃⋏⎅ ⌰⟒⏁ ⎍⌇ ⌿⎍⏁⏁⟟⋏☌ ⟟⏁ ⍜⋏ ⏁⍜ ⊬⍜⎍? The man then again try to slowly reaching out to me in more subtle way, a sign that he doesn't want to harm me at all. But as much as how honest his eyes seems to be, I'm still in suspicions about who this guy would be and why would he try to be closer to me. Looking back behind me, what greet me is a sight of something that I can guess why it's happening. Rashu is gone but in his place is a monkey with ordinary size and have golden color in its skin and furs. Without the ambient Qi in the air to support humanoid transformation of the divine beasts, divine beasts would revert back to its origin beast form and become much more weaker than any cultivators below its realm

Rashu appearance now meant that he would be as strong as those common savage beasts, with only the might of Qi gathering cultivators…

' Zhoutian! I can't access any Qi from the surroundings at all! ' immediately, Rashu sent me a telepathic message through our soul contract. His voice is in panic and anxious but that's understandable. Frowning, I look up to the man that's right in front of me. This people would know the answer and I need an answer. Without wasting any time, I use a battle technique of Shadow step. A technique that use the surrounding shadows as cloak and vanish without a trace. After my sudden disappearance, everyone with the armors on become more guarded. Pointing their holed tip stuffs to every corner of the space as if didn't want to miss anything. Four of them immediately go to the man that's have his helmet gone and surrounding him to guard him. Hoo.. So that man is the important one in here

Steeping out from Shadow step, I hit one of the man that guarding that important person in the back of his head. Immediately after that, I face up to the right side as the guy in the right side can react out fast enough for my speed. The man then pulled some kind of trigger from that stuff they are all brought and blue light flashed from the holed tip of the stuff. Out of instinct, I block that lighting blue beam that flies to me with my right hand palm, but at the middle of reaching out my hand for the block, my instinct told me again how dangerous the blue light beam that goes to me is

Fuck

*BOOM*

Small explosion occured as my right hand become bloodied and in a mess, if I didn't use my Qi reserve in my Dantian and flow it immediately to my right hand palm, my palm would gone without a trace. That thing they are holding… it can spewing out spells as great as asura deathlight?

Missing out my second initiative attack, in a heartbeat later, all the armored men pointed their stuff to me and ready their finger to the triggered thing of the stuff. Taking a stance, I flow my Qi reserve in dantian core to cover my body and prepared for their following spells of those blue lights. But before both of us can move to strike each other, a shout immediately sounded to stop us all and take our attention

" ⌇⏁⍜⌿! ⏃⌰⌰ ⍜⎎ ⊬⍜⎍! ⎅⍜⋏'⏁ ⌇⊑⍜⍜⏁! (stop! All of you! Don't shoot!) " shouted the man without the helmet as he stepping out from encirclement of his men's. The rest of the men then shouted something gibberish, as if trying to warn him about he want to do. But the man ignored all of the shouts his comrades give him and walk up to me again and still in his left palm being opened to reveal the device from earlier " ⟟ ☍⋏⍜⍙ ⊬⍜⎍ ⏃⍀⟒ ⎎⍀⟟☌⊑⏁⟒⋏⟒⎅, ⏚⎍⏁ ⌰⟒⏁'⌇ ⏁⏃☍⟒ ⟟⏁ ☊⏃⌰⋔⌰⊬, ⍙⟒ ⋔⟒⏃⋏⏁ ⋏⍜ ⊑⏃⍀⋔ (I know you are frightened, but let's take this calmly, we meant no harm) " and before I can even replied, the man suddenly rushing out to me and places the thing in his hand to the place beside my right eye. The thing then emitting a low buzzing sounds and some kind of electricity in it to my skin and in no time, it glued to me without even a handle to hold the thing from falling to the ground below

Smiling, the man try open his mouth but before he can say anything, I reach out my hand for him to fast to react and grab a hold of his neck, throttling him " I don't know what tricks you guys do to make the Qi disappear or what you did to me and Rashu, but I swear I'll kill you if you all won't stop with this trick of yours "

Face gradually become blue from the choke, the man hands tapping on my right hand for a sign for me to let him go. After letting him get choked for three heartbeats, I let his neck go. After being freed, the man immediately coughing for a while and everyone of his men pointed their stuff again to me and ready to shoot another battle spells. But before they can do, it the man without the helmet raised his right hand that have his palm clenched, a sign for them to not do anything rash. After that, he look into me and said " finally.. We can get you wore the fucking UI.. Jesus.. "

Frowning again at how the man suddenly can speak human language and not some gibberish, I open my mouth but he interrupted me before I can say anything with his raised hand and palm being opened wide, a sign for me to stop " I know you are suddenly confused at where you are, what is those yellow light enveloping you back then, or this… 'Qi' thing suddenly disappear, but we will give you explanations, don't you worry "

And then he curling up his lips into a warm smile and said " welcome to the frigate rank spaceship, The Maiden. We welcome you, the native of 8543 uncharted star system "
