Morgana's Misadventures

While Shin was talking with Takemi.

Morgana wandered off, as usual. He didn't stay with Shin because he didn't want to intrude on the teenager. In no way did he intend to peek on his private life to that extent.

Of course, that didn't mean no accidents ever happened.

-Flashback-

"What are you doing at this hour?" asked Morgana, as he peeked his head into the bathroom.

"Go away, Morgana." said Shin, who was sitting on the toilet.

-End of flashback-

Morgana shrugged (or whatever the equivalent for cats would be called) and continued walking through the alley.

Immediately afterwards, a long-haired orange cat jumped out of a nearby trash can and landed right in front of Morgana.

"B-Boss! You gotta help us!" it said.

"Lewis? What happened? Are you injured?" shouted Morgana, distressed.

"It's the dogs, boss! They got a new leader, and he's scary! He took down Mufasa, Henry and Hannigan! Little Roosevelt is stalling him from reaching the base as we speak, but he won't hold out for much longer!" said Lewis with haste.

"Lead me to him." said Morgana, dead serious.

The two cats didn't have to walk much, and Morgana could see the dog that Lewis was talking about. It looked to be similar in size to Morgana. In fact, it was very close to Morgana in appearance, as they both had mainly black fur, with white underbellies and white bottom-half of their head.

Morgana tried to sneak up to him, but the dog heard him, and turned to look at him. The black cat clicked his tongue, annoyed that his plan failed so quickly.

"Little Roosevelt!" shouted Lewis as he rushed to the large grey cat that had been the dog's opponent for the past few minutes.

"So you're the one they were talking about." said the dog, condescendingly.

Morgana didn't say anything. He was moving into position to attack at any moment.

"Fatty over there kept saying how once his boss gets here, he's going to kick my ass for beating all of them to a pulp, but you don't seem anything special." said the dog, throwing a look at Little Roosevelt. The large cat was injured, and he seemed to be barely hanging on.

"I see. And you are...?" asked Morgana.

"I have taken to calling myself Isaiah. I don't expect someone like you to understand the intricacies behind my name, but I can't be bothered to explain it to every pebble in my road. And speaking of pebbles."

The dog picked up a pebble and flung it in the air, only to hit it with his paw with enough force to make it fly towards Morgana.

The cat calmly moved his head to the left, and the projectile missed him.

"Hmph. Is that all you got?" asked Morgana.

But the cat didn't wait for an answer, as he immediately dashed towards Isaiah. The dog didn't have any time to move, and Morgana used his tail to throw some dust in his eyes. The dog immediately recoiled and jumped back, to get some distance between them.

Unfazed, Morgana quickly charged after him while Isaiah was rubbing his eyes.

"So weak. Too weak. Did you really take down Mufasa like this?" mocked Morgana.

"As if I'd show you my full strength from the very beginning! I was merely using 10% of my power! You're done for now." replied Isaiah, cockily.

"We'll see about that."

The two animals interlocked into a legendary battle that would be passed from cat to cat and from dog to dog throughout generations.

At the same time, a black-haired teenager was wondering where the fuck did his cat go.
