IT'S A TRAP!

Shin was sitting inside the Maid Cafe in Akihabara, holding the menu in his hands.

"What are we doing here?" asked Morgana, from the confines of Shin's bag.

"Research." said Shin, dead serious.

"Huh?"

"I have to document the effect maids have on these fucking weebs. For all we know, it might alter Mementos."

"I see."

At that moment, a girl dressed in a maid outfit approached Shin's table. Contrary to his expectations, this one had bright pink hair tied into a long ponytail.

"Hello, master! What would you like to order?" she said, bowing slightly, trying to look cute.

"One 'Love❤️Lasagna', please." replied the black-haired boy.

"Oh, that is my specialty! I won't disappoint you, master!" the maid saluted.

"All of that energy makes me a little lightheaded." said Morgana.

"If you puke, you're cleaning it."

After a few minutes, the pink-haired maid returned with a plate of piping-hot freshly made lasagna.

"Here's your order, master! With love, from your dutiful maid."

The appetizing smell made Shin's stomach grumble, so the boy took a bite.

"Ah, this is good!" he spoke with his mouth full.

"I'm glad you're enjoy it, master." the maid smiled.

"Mmhm."

After the boy finished his meal, the pink-haired maid brought his bill.

"Thank you, miss..." started Shin, waiting for the maid to complete the sentence.

However, the maid suddenly pouted.

"How rude! To assume I am a girl... If you must know, my name is Lasse." said the girl... err, boy.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to assume." said Shin, scratching the back of his head.

'Oh, I just got a great idea.' he thought.

"Say, Lasse..."

-INTERMISSION-

Ryuji was looking very intently at his PC. When his trembling finger pressed down on the 'enter' key, he couldn't help but throw his hands back in disappointment as he read the words on the monitor.

The blond boy felt rather bothered by how casual his black-haired friend was when approaching that girl. As if he wasn't doing anything amazing.

He wasn't frustrated by the fact that Shin moved to help her just like that. Rather, he was annoyed by his own inaction and lack of ability when flirting.

He could see the girl blush after Shin said just a few words, and he needed no evidence to be completely sure that happened more on their way to the elevator.

Thus, he came to the solution for all his problems: Eroges. That's how he's planning to become good at flirting.

Brilliant, simply brilliant.

Though, what had just occurred, was Ryuji experiencing a bad end in one of the games. He was off to a bad start, but he was sure things are going to be better in the future.

At that moment, Ryuji's phone rang. He opened his chat app to see that Shin had just sent him a message.

'Speak of the devil.' he thought.

Shin: Dude, there's an amazing maid cafe in Akihabara.

Shin: You should check it out.

Shin: *sends photo of him and Lasse in a photo together*

Shin: They have some cute maids.

"Alright! Akihabara, here I come!" shouted Ryuji.
