121 Ah, youngsters these days

If anyone were to ask Shiho what she did, she would embarrassedly say she really tried her best. Unfortunately, it was far too little time for her to find any proper restaurant that was open at that time.

So when Shin suggested they go to LeBlanc, she ashamedly nodded her head. The girl was unsure whether taking Shin home for their first date was appropriate or not when they were walking out of the gym, but she didn't keep pondering on it for long as the taller teen grabbed her hand. When she looked up at him, Shin replied with:

"You haven't been to LeBlanc that often, have you? I'll lead the way."

Shiho, while rosy in the cheeks, didn't say anything.

-INTERMISSION-

The journey only took 15 minutes, really, since the gym was close to the subway line. So, the two teens found themselves before the entrance to LeBlanc, still holding hands. At some point through the trip, Shiho stopped being very embarrassed by that. Of course, she'd keep blushing if she were to focus on it, but the girl distracted herself by engaging in a discussion with Shin. And boy what a discussion it was!

"...So you're saying he's the one behind all of those mental breakdowns that paused in April?"

"Mhm."

"And that he's doing all this just so he can get back at his father when he's at his greatest, which is very petty in retrospect?"

"Yup."

"And you know all this because... God told you?"

"God with a lowercase g, because there's not only one 'god'."

"...Right. And there's a 'god' more powerful than this 'god' that gave Akechi his powers. And that 'god' has a rival that's a good guy that's helping you."

"Correct. Also there's another 'god', or rather 'goddess', though I'm not sure exactly why she's female but that's a thing, that gave me another power, aside from the whole 'Wild Card' shtick."

"Wait a second, backpedal on that a bit-" started Shiho, but she stopped her sentence short as she saw Shin summon Arsene right next to them.

The gentlemanly Persona tipped his hat slightly in her direction, but Shiho had the verbosity of a fish out of water at the moment, so she couldn't reply. Thus, the burden to further the discussion fell solely on Shin's shoulders.

"As you can see, Arsene looks better in natural light." he said, and Shiho could swear she saw the Persona puff up slightly in pride. "Anyways, let's head inside now, shall we?"

Shin made Arsene vanish, before opening the door and pushing Shiho inside. At that moment, Sojiro was reading a newspaper lazily, since it was almost closing time, but he took a quick look at the door when he heard the bell ringing.

"I'm about to leave, so if you want something to eat, you'll have to do it yourself." he called out to Shin.

"That's alright. We were heading upstairs anyways." replied the teen.

The older man couldn't see Shin's left arm from where he was, but he could see it going behind Shiho. As he passed by the teens, he put a little box in Shin's pocket, away from Shiho's sight. Giving his charge a nod and a grin, Sojiro stepped out of LeBlanc.

*Awkward silence*

'It's said that silence is golden. Well, right now, this silence feels more like lead than anything." thought Shin.

"Can... can we go into Mementos for a bit? I'd like to show you something." suddenly, Shiho spoke up. She was nervously fiddling with her fingers as she thought about what was about to happen.

The other teen shrugged and took out his phone, opening the Meta-Nav. It wouldn't be the first time he entered in the Metaverse while so far from the entrance into Mementos.

Shiho took a few steps away from Shin and took a deep breath. Her mask appeared on her face, and with a focused look on her face, she ripped it off to summon her Persona.

Only... it wasn't her usual Persona. Simurgh was nowhere to be seen. Instead, a beautiful woman wearing robes appeared. She held a flaming urn in one hand, while the other had embers dancing around it. She had ginger hair, although she wore a helmet and it could barely be seen.

"Hello. My name is Brigit. It is nice to meet you, Bres." she said, looking at Shin.

-

You didn't see this one coming, did you now?

Anyways, here's a brief description about her: Brigid is goddess of the hearth in Irish mythology. Her husband, Bres, is a Fomorian and she is the daughter of Dagda. She is the goddess of all things perceived to be of relatively high dimensions such as high-rising flames, highlands, hill-forts and upland areas, as well as wisdom, excellence, perfection, high intelligence, poetic eloquence, craftsmanship (especially blacksmithing), healing ability, druidic knowledge and skill in warfare. In the living traditions, whether seen as goddess or saint, she is largely associated with the home and hearth.

Stat-wise, the weakness to curse is removed, leaving only immunity to fire and a weakness to ice. 30 small birds doesn't change, although if it hits, it's obviously gonna do more damage. The trait changes from Gaokerenian Takeoff to Imbolc, which has a moderate chance to cure debuffs or heal all allies for every action taken in combat.
