The next day at school was very, very awkward for the Japanese teacher. First, she had two hours with Shin's class, right in the morning, and whatever remained of Sunday after she left hadn't been nearly as much as she hoped for her to get over her embarrassment.

Second, every time she accidentally made eye contact with Shin, her face turned red as she remembered what took place the day before. The first few times, it wasn't that noticeable, but her students could see that their usually laidback -or rather tired- teacher was being very jittery in class.

At some point, Shin's phone vibrated from a notification, so he opened the chat app.

Ann: Doesn't it look like Miss Kawakami is acting weird?

Ryuji: Huh?

Yusuke: Kawakami is your homeroom teacher, correct?

Shin: That's right.

Ann: C'mon Shin.

Ann: You see her, don't you?

Shin: Yes.

Shin: But I don't see anything particularly discerning at first glance.

Shin: Might have to look deeper.

Alibaba: Aren't you guys supposed to be in class?

Futaba decided to butt in their discussion.

Ryuji: Well yeah, but this might be important. It isn't the first time something like this happens, so the group isn't taken by surprise, like the first time.

Yusuke: The way you're latching onto any excuse to slack of is unsightly.

Ryuji: Dude!

Shiho: Let's just focus on class for now.

-INTERMISSION-

After class, Kawakami entered the faculty room, to pick up her lesson material for her next class, when the door suddenly closed behind her.

She turned around, confused. But as she saw Shin standing there, she took a step back and with a shaky voice she said.

"S-Shin! W-Why are you here?"

"What, I can't go see my favourite maid-teacher?" he said, but Kawakami immediately moved to cover his mouth.

"Not at school, please!" she said, small tears in her eyes. "You don't have to say anything. Just, try not to be seen when you go out."

Shin smiled after taking her hands off.

"Don't worry, my cute maid. Your master is as sneaky as a ghost." he said, poking her forehead.

With that said, he left the room, a weird sense of déjà vu biting at the back of his head.
