6 Dealing with gramps and meeting Ace

I hear the voice of all things chant when shanks places his hat, The king's crown on my head. I do something reckless and dangerous and say I will be king, I will be the freest of them all.

I make a vow for the whole world to hear when shanks leave " I gonna be king of the pirates, so you better be ready, shanks." Everything stops when I say it. The voices are quiet. The people are listing. Then they all start talking at once

Your path has been chosen. There is no going back. You will rise to the throne or sink to the deepest dark of the ocean alone.

I let out a laugh at that. I will always listen. I will not fall because that is my will, that is my will of the D. the will of the very depths of my soul.

One month later...

I was walking back to Makino's bar from the seashore. The sea was showing me where cool shells are on the shore. When I heard from an amused bird, Your gramps is here, princess.

"Thank you, birdy," I say. The villagers used to me talking to things just chuckle at me.

I skip back to the party bar wrist bare, the bands are thrown into the sea by shanks when we met. My straw hat resting on my head and my charm bracelet resting around my ankle making a click-click sound when I run.

I make it to the bar, a big grin on my face. I swing open the doors, and then I met eyes with gramps, and he seemed to be having a mental breakdown.

Then he got up his courage and yelled, " Shanks is your soulmate, no, no, no, no, NO."

" you are going away, far away, where he can't find you."

" You are going to be a good marine. If you can't be a Marine wife, a marine it is."

He then picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. I yell, " Bye makino, mayor, foosha."

A fist of love then knocked me out.

When I came to I was in front of a hut.

The door then opened and I was greeted by a scene of a woman that looks to be yelling at

I gasped looking at him. Those words, mean everything and nothing. I couldn't understand the last sentence but I could understand that it was important.

He gives a charming smile and says " I am Portgas D. Ace, future pirate, who might you be?"

" I am Monkey. D Luffy" I say with wonder.
