Theodore washed his hands before he wiped the pan clean of any pancake residue.
"So would the new guests like a show or should I just quickly whip up your meal," Said Theodore as put the ingredients out in front of him with his hands down behind his back.
"Lisa, what do you want" Said Maria
"A show please" Said Lisa with excitement
"Then a show you shall get" Said Theodore before taking a deep breath.
He then breathed out slowly as his demure changes to that of elegance and beauty.
He pulled out 4 eggs and gently threw them up above a small bowl.
Then with one swift movement, he pulls out a long knife and holds it still in the air above the bowl.
The world around them seemed to move at a slow pace as the eggs made contact with the hovering knife while a clean crack appeared across the shell before opening up and realising its inside into the bowl below.
As the sun rose, its light infiltrated the Little Palace and wrapped its self around Theodore's graceful body movement.
With a flick of his wrist the eggshell break and fall before being slapped to the side by the knife.
Then with a hypnotic flutter of his fingers two tablespoons worth of water graceful danced through the air out from small bowl water.
The Castle family and the Hunt kids looked at Theodore in astonishment "Wow"
The water then divided itself up into little raindrops which hovered silently.
He then had it rain on the bowl of eggs while whisking and seasoning it with salt and pepper.
He had two pans waiting to be used before slapping some butter on it and pouring the egg mixture onto them.
He gently manoeuvred the mixture in both pans making sure to not burn to cook it evenly.
Seeing that the eggs were close to fully cooking through he picked up an onion and a tomato.
Theodore then cut them into a little piece before putting them on the egg and folding it to act as a cage for the Onions and Tomatoes with the addition of some grated cheese and other herbs.
He flipped slapped the handle of the pans causing them to act as a catapult for the eggs.
The eggs flew across the room towards a table but before it hit the table Theodore threw two plates to catch them.
He pulled out glass and cup that was filled with the drinks they ordered with a set of knives and forks he said "Enjoy"
Maria, Lisa and Frank Jr were speechless. They specifically came to Little Palace after hearing the widespread rumours of the perfect little shop and the perfect little family that ran it.
"Hey Frank did you want a drink," Asked Rose
"I want a double chocolate fudge shake with cream and, and a cherry on top," Said Frank Jr excitedly which earned Maria stern eyes.
"Too much sugar. He'll also have a cup of orange juice, please" Said Maria while poking the back of Frank Jr's head
Frank Jr got his drink and joined his mom and sister at the table.
The Castle family sat down and took the time to take a deep breath of what had ordered.
Initially, they were extremely tired but after just a close up sniff of the food, they felt their energy for the day get a sudden boost.
Taking a knife and fork they cut into their order and placed it in their mouths.
For Maria and Lisa, they felt themselves melt into the gooey softness and warm embrace of the silky eggs, while the sweet taste of fresh tomatoes attacked, and captured there very being.
On young Franks end, he felt his teeth effortless bite into the pancakes fluffy self while the bits of bacon-wrapped lovingly in pancake burst with it's salty, fatty goodness.
The pancake perfectly encased the bacon and with every bite, he felt the need to start building a religion around it as he truly believed himself to be reborn by the essence of bacon pancakes.
Theodore gave a happy nod seeing this before tasting the pancakes that the kids made and said "Happy customers as always. The pinch of cinnamon was smart. You need to space bacon out more. But it's great you guys are really becoming amazing cooks"
"Yay, we did it," Shouted Chloe and Rose happily while hugging each other
"Dad, I want to play" Said Rose
"Me too," said Chloe
Theodore replied by ruffling their hair and said "Like I said you don't need to ask. You can cook when you want and play when you want. Having fun is what matters"
"Hehehe Okay," Said The girls as they skip into the back play.
"Let's play stuntman," Said Rose happily
"No, I don't like stuntman it's too scary. I want to play Snakes and Ladders" Said Chloe
"The first one to the couch get to pick. On three, 1, 2,3" Said Rose before sprinting with Chloe right by her side.
Theodore made some small talk with the Castle family before Maria asked "So are you a mutant"
"No, but I could be said to be something more than human" Said Theodore
"Like Thor, the God of Thunder," Said Frank Jr curiously
"Not far off but aren't you guys too comfortable around the supernatural" Said Theodore
"Well yeah, the kids have the X-gene," Said Maria with
Theodore already knew this from the background check that Daisy did. That's why he showed himself manipulating water he wanted to see their reaction to seeing something that could be related to mutants.
It was a shocking discovery as he already had to feel the Castle family was going to be some sort, Batman family.
"Hmm and you're not at all scared of the possibility that something might go wrong," Said Theodore
Maria was clearly angry at his statement "Then we'll deal with it. Franky Lisa was leaving"
"Bacon Pancakes!" Said, Frank Jr while shaking his head and holding onto his plate
"Calm down I'm not trying to offend you I just want to know if you have a method to tackle that obstacle," Said Theodore
Maria sighed in defeat and shook her head sadly.
Theodore gave an understanding nod and passed her 2 black X-key bracelets and said "These are meant to lock your ability away. It will turn white when it notices your ability's trying to make an appearance"
"How can we trust you?" Asked, Maria
"Give me a second... Daisy, call the X-Men" Said, Theodore
Theodore then did not have to introduce the X-Men to them as they were well aware of who they were much like.
Theodore had the X-Men reassure them that the X-Key is real and works perfectly. After finally gaining their trust they head off.
"Daisy, create a file on the Cerberus Squad and their connections. Notify me when the Castle Family are withing the vicinity of the Central Park" Said Theodore
"Understood," Said Daisy
"What's the current status of Cerberus Squad," Said Theodore
"They are burying the allege terrorist Ahmad Zubair," Said Daisy
'Sigh, the loss of a good man is always saddening. If I remember correctly the turning point is Rawlins order to capture the high ranking terrorist leader losing many of his fellow soldiers' Thought Theodor with a heavy heart.
A bald African American man entered wearing a black trench coat, black pants, grey sweater and black military boots with his iconic eye patch.
He looked at Theodore and said "Mr Hunt, I believe we have some things to discuss"
"Okay, what?" Asked Theodore with a lazy tone
"It's about you, who or what are you?" Asked Nick
"Theodore Hunt, age 23 human. Single father of the two little angels Rose Hunt and Chloe Hunt. Occupation, Chef and owner of Little Palace. That's it now can you get your squad to leave they're scaring customers away" Said Theodore while looking at agents in black that surround the shops front.
Nick would normally not bring such a large backup to a 'discussion' but he had heard how strong Theodore was so he brought them just in case.
"I need answers, Mr Hunt, are you a threat?" Asked Nick coldly
Theodore replied with a cold grin "Yes but I won't be if I'm not treated as one"
"This is not a threat this just understanding whether you are an enemy or not," Said Nick
Theodore shook his head in disappointment "You and the higher-ups have clearly misunderstood our standing"
Theodore stood up straight, looked at Nick coldly. His eyes dilated for a brief second and from them, a strong blast of Conqueror Haki covered the premise which targeted all the surrounding agents apart from Nick.
*Thud, Thud, Thud*
One after the other the surrounding agents hit the floor with their eyes rolled back and foam seeping out from their lips.
Nick went to grab his pistol only to find it missing and now somehow in Theodore's hands.
Theodore quickly dissembled the pistol and continued "I'm the one with the power to make an invasion of aliens disappear without much effort. So with that in mind do you think I need to answer to you or the people above you?"
"You need to be kept in check," Said Nick gritting his teeth as feels Theodore slowly applying Conqueror Haki on him.
"I'm not a pet, Nick. If I wanted to be a threat do you think I need to be sneaky about it? I can easily rule earth but I haven't isn't that knowledge good enough?" Said, Theodore
"It's necessary to be cautious," Said Nick still feeling the pressure on his mind increase
"Fine, I'll let you have that but I'll say this once and only once don't touch the people close to me. If anything happens to them I will retaliate and there will be nothing you or any organisation can do stop me" Said Theodore sternly
Nick did not reply and just looked back while still gritting his teeth.
Seeing Nick not reply Theodore persisted "This is not a threat Nick, this a promise. Now I'm done talking so this is goodbye"
He didn't wait for Nick's reply as he teleported them to the Helicarrier.
"Sigh, what a waste of my time," Said Theodore went to wipe the table that the Castle family used.
