3 years have passed since he arrived in this world in Noctis' body. He lived a normal life with Erza as he did mundane jobs in the morning till afternoon and took care of Erza until she slept when he got home.

Raising a kid at the start, was so hard. Trust me. But as you gain more and more proficient in taking care of your baby, then it will be easier for you. Especially when you see your baby's face peacefully, all of the fatigue will be washed away.

He trained himself in swordsmanship at night after he tucked in Erza. With Noct's memories, he got the memory of the swordsmanship and decided to train himself once more to get a feel for it.

Although he can't use the advanced moves of his swordsmanship because it needs Mana to use it. The basic sword forms are enough for him in his mind. What the sword style focuses on was sheer power, a hit and you're bisected into two which is kinda ridiculous but its weakness would be speed type enemies, but with Noctis' experience, he managed to cancel those out.

Noctis was currently preparing for dinner as Erza came in with bruises on her body. Noctis immediately stopped what he was doing and tended to Erza.

"What happened Erza?! Why are you full of bruises?!" Noctis asked in panic. Although Noctis have went to the village head for their attitude towards his daughter, it just keeps on piling up. At first Erza came home without injuries outside but as a fighter, he can see damages in her body, specially in her stomach. He even disciplined the bullies and was forced to live outside the village because of the village head. He told Erza not to go near them anymore but she still tried to befriend them, but all she received was a beating.

Although Erza had made 2 friends, the siblings named Simon and Kagura, they were not always there to protect her while Noctis is working in the village near Rosemary village.

After a long time, Erza finally snapped as she beat up all of the bullies. The parents of the kids started rushing towards Noct's home and demanded an explanation. Fortunately, with his scarred body and bloodthirsty aura, it intimidated them so much that they forgot what they came to his house for.

"Father, is our family cursed? Why are they saying that I'm a monster because of the color of my hair? Why are they saying that mother left us because of me?" Erza asked as Noctis hugged her lightly to not aggravate her wounds and consoled her at the same time.

"Look Erza, our family is not cursed okay? Remember that. We were blessed to have you in this world, okay?" He said as she nodded.

"They said you're a monster because of your hair? Why? Your hair is beautiful. Erza, if others say you're different, think of yourself as something unique." He said to Erza while he took some herbs from the pantry and rubbed them on Erza's bruises.

"Father, what is unique?" Erza asked Noctis and he is patient when it comes to teaching his daughter.

"One of a kind, although not really because you had the same hair as your mother which is really pretty." Noctis said as she looked at me in confusion.

"So my hair is rare and pretty?" She asked me as Noct nodded to her.

"As for your mother, she didn't leave us because of you. She left to protect us." The previous Noctis thought that Irene perished in the battle with Acnologia but I knew better, Irene is in Alvares Kingdom.

"Where is she now? Can we see her?" She asked in a hopeful tone.

"For now, no, father is not strong yet. When father becomes strong, we'll visit your mother is that okay?" he said as she seemed sad a bit but soon regained hope as she will be able to meet her mother when she grows up. But Noctis knew if no miracle happened to him, with his damaged magic circuits, he is still a trash.

We then had our dinner which is a simple soup with herbs and a wild game he bought from the travelling merchant.

Noctis then tucked in Erza as he told her stories in his old world.

"Then father, did Cinderella meet the prince after the party?" She asked as Noctis winked at her.

"That's for tomorrow, you said you'll sleep after I told you one more." He said as Erza closed her eyes pretending to sleep as he tickled her.

"No! Stop tickling me, father! I'll be mad." She said but Noctis continued playing with her until she ran out of energy and finally slept.

After tucking Erza, Noctis went down to practice the basic sword arts. After that, he washed his face before sleeping beside Erza.

4 hours later, in the middle of the night, Noctis woke up because of the commotion that's happening outside. He heard screams and smelled a faint hint of smoke. He then immediately stood up and looked at the cracks at the wall that he intentionally made for times like this.

Noctis saw fire from the village and black robed men slaughtering adults while taking childrens captive.

Noctis immediately grabbed his gold coins and his sword before wrapping Erza in a blanket and started running away from the village, he's not going to risk his life for a village who abandoned his daughter.

While he was running away, a cultist saw him as he chased after Noctis. He casted a fireball which Noctis dodged easily, Noctis is gaining distance away from him and he immediately hid when he lost him. He simply cannot fight him with Erza on his back.

After resting he was about to start running away once again but he saw one of Erza's friend, Kagura, running away from a mage and she is nearly caught. Steeling his mind, Noctis put down Erza and picked up his sword as he tried to position himself behind a tree at Kagura's direction. Kagura passed the tree Noctis was hiding at and immediately swung his sword to the person chasing after Kagura.

He easily took his head off as the mage was distracted in chasing Kagura and didn't notice Noctis at all.

When Kagura turned to look at her back to see if the one chasing her is near her, she only saw Erza's father vomiting. She rushed towards Noctis as she is scared at being alone and being with someone she knows is better than going alone.

After Noctis vomited all of his dinner, he just noticed Kagura beside him.

"Hello there, Kagura." Noctis said but Kagura is still in tears.

"What happened?" He asked her as they slowly went towards the place where he hid Erza.

"My brother stalled the bad guys as he told me to run away, h-he is killed by those bad guys." She said as she started weeping and he patted her back.

"Come on, let's go. We need to move if we don't want the bad guys to catch us." She nodded meekly as Noctis woke up Erza who seemed to be half-asleep. Noctis carried Erza in his left arm and Kagura in his right arm and started sprinting away from Rosemary Village. When Noctis arrived at the next village he is shocked to see that it was raided as well. He immediately turned back to not attract the cult worshippers.

He then sprinted towards the nearest town as he is confident that those cult worshippers wouldn't dare to raid a town.

After arriving at Riverwood, he finally breathed a sigh of relief as he went to a nearby inn and paid for a room and tucked the two girls before sleeping by leaning at the side of the bed.
