1 Ch. 1

Titanessa:

I watch as a father picks up his daughter and gives her little kisses all over her face, and the mother watches with amusement and love dancing in her eyes. A family. Something i yearn for.

All my life i have been an outsider. I don't know where i came from, i don't know where are my parents or if they are even alive or if i have any other siblings. I just know i was found by patrolling pack members by the ocean boarders.

The Alpha, Alexander King and Luna Farrah King accepted me into the pack immediately. They treat me like i am one of their children, which is nice and i am more than grateful for them, but there is still that missing piece. And i hope one day i get to fill that missing piece.

I became best friends with the Alpha and Luna's only daughter, Dawn. She is such a carefree, down to earth, goofy girl. We have the same birthday, the Alpha and Luna are throwing a 22nd birthday bash for the both of us and its going to be big. That same day the Alpha and Luna's eldest son Damon, is coming home from training and is going to surprise her. She misses her big brother and has been talking about him non stop. This will be the perfect surprise for her.

All first born's of the Alpha and Luna, either it be boy or girl are sent away at the age of 16 to train to become the next Alpha or Luna in line. He has been gone for quite some time now and i know that this will be the icing on the cake for her. The Alpha and Luna has 4 children. Damon 25, Ducane 24, Dean 23 and the only girl Dawn.

Ducane and Dean already found their mates and they are both so beautiful and kind. Well, Jake is as kind as you can get.

Jake is Deans mate and he is just a funny, sarcastic, fireball with great fashion sense.

Reah, she is Ducane's mate and she is something different. She is active, she likes to have fun, go out, pull pranks, its like there is a child stuck in a 22 year old's body. We love it and enjoy her company. It shocked us she got paired with Ducane. He is the opposite of fun.

Ducane shows no emotion and is very quiet, takes work seriously and is boring. He is always on Reah's ass about her childish ways. He is concerned for her safety but she doesn't care and does what she does anyway. She says "We must bask in the moment and live for now. Tomorrow isn't always promised."

I agree with her, Ducane is learning to deal with it. Besides all of that i think that they make a fine couple. She's like the calm to his storm. I wish to find my mate one day and have something similar.

"Titanessa.... Hello."

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at my crazy best friend.

"Sorry, you said something?"

"Yeah. You ok? You kind of dozed off there."

I smiled and shook my head. "Yeah, no I'm good. Just thinking. What's up"

"My father is summoning the knights. We gotta go."

We stood up from the bench, got in her car and headed towards the city.

"Do you know why he's summoning us?" i asked looking out the window.

"No idea. I just hope its not another mission. We just got back and our birthday is tomorrow. It'll be a shame if we have to fucking leave again."

Ten minutes away from the city.

The Great city of Nethilor also known as The Moon Stone Pack, is the biggest and strongest pack. Its respected by all packs from around and is home to a thousand of pack members. The city is painted white and beneath it you can see the water cascading down towards the ocean. Mountains so close you can climb it and see little waterfalls falling off the edges and onto the buildings. It is a beautiful sight to see.

Minutes later Dawn pulls up to the main building. I open my door and was greeted by Reah and Jake.

"Well look who decided to grace us with their presence. Just where have you two been these past few weeks." Jake folds his arms and glared at us.

"Come on Jake, don't be like that. We had to go Romania to see my granddad, I haven't seen him in a while so we payed him a little visit." Dawn lied straight to his face. For good reasons and we feel bad but we took an oath.

"Then why wasn't i invited or informed, or Dean or Ducane and Reah." Hes not gonna stop.

"This was just my trip alone, Ness came along for moral support and to find her mate." Oh i wanted to punch her for that last one. How are you gonna throw my business out like that.

I gave Jake a smile and nodded my head. He looked at us for a minute then dropped it, came down the steps and gave us a hug.

"I missed you guys. Next time tell me, we should have all went, we could use a little vacation. Any luck finding that mate of yours?"

"No, but I'm sure he or she will come around when the time is right."

"Awww come here." He pulled me in for another hug and kissed my head. I hugged him back and looked at Dawn and gave her the finger. In return she blows a kiss.

I'm not in a rush in looking for my mate. I mean it would be nice to have someone to come home to but I'm sure when the time is right they will come through.

The three of us walked in and went to the Alpha's office. I opened the double doors and there stood the royal knights, Ducane, Dean and the Alpha.

"Girls, glad to know you made it back alright." Alpha stood up and greeted his daughter with a warm hug. He turned to me, i bowed my head in respect but he just pulled me in close and whispered "I'm glad to see you girls made it back. Thank you for looking out for Dawn."

I returned the hug and just smiled at him.

"Ill be heading back out to train the new recruit. Dawn, Ness. Good to see you back." Ducane looks to his father, bows then leaves.

"Dean, your mom wants us to get the alcohol from the wine cellar and bring them up here for tomorrow." Jake says taking his leave, dean right behind him.

Leo follows behind them but stops and closes the door and lock it.

"Great, now that its just us. Lets get down to business." All nine of us looks to the Alpha.

"There has been an issue rising, and I need all of you."
