16 Ch. 16

When I came in, I immediately set aside my luggage and took my phone out. "8:24 pm" It read. I didn't realize that I actually took that long to get here, then I froze.

I sighed then I laid down on the concrete floors and I could see the ceiling and the walls (Because the place is small.) "I wonder if the malls are still up." I thought.

The place is actually unfurnished. (Sorry if I can't explain this so well) When you enter the place you could see a mini living room right in front of you with a future couch on your left and a future TV right in front of it with a floor carpet extending underneath the both.

When you walk a couple of steps like probably around 6 to 10 steps, you'll arrive at the kitchen with a pre-set countertop that comes with its own fridge at the right corner of the kitchen. But if you go left from the kitchen, there will be a hallway that leads to the bathroom to its right and a bedroom to its left that is right in front of the bathroom.

The bathroom is probably the only room to be "big" because the bathroom has its own bathtub and everything else. It has enough room for you to do push-ups at the side (sorry for the weird translation) but over to the bedroom, once you enter the bedroom, you'll see the future king-sized bed with a closet to its right. On the bottom part of the bed, you can see the pre-set AC.

Before I could start unpacking my stuff, I took my phone and my credit card with me to go to a nearby mall to shop for some furniture.

As I went out, on my way I walked with confidence that my problems are finally gone! "No parents, no family, no humiliation, no everything! I'm finally independent!" I thought as I keeped on walking with such a big smile that it felt so awkward.

I wallked a couple turns, streets, crosses and finally, a mall! And it's a big one! "Southeastern Grand Complex" it read while I was staring at above and froze in the middle of the crowd in front of the mall.

It's around 5 or 6 floors and it looks nice!

So I went in and inmediately started to look for the furniture section. "Wow! There's a lot of stuff here that isn't in East Gate Mall!" I thought to myself even though EGM is more complete. The as I walked through the stores, I saw their department store and came right in.

To be honest, when I came in I was a bit shocked because it was actually bigger than I expected. I roamed around a bit but then I had to ask someone where it is because I was getting lost. "Ma'am, can you tell me where your furniture section is?" I asked.

(Saleslady's POV)

"Urgh... What a crappy day, I heard that Shelly actually hit on my boyfriend, what a way to make my day." I mumbled as I was arranging the stuff on the shelves by myself. Then as I put another soap bar on the shelf, I slipped a bit and I accidentally pushed all the other soap bars to fall onto the ground. "Can this day get any more worse?!" I shouted.

Then suddenly, someone came near me and tapped my shoulder. When I looked at the person, I thought I saw god, he had this amazing aura, but it was probably because of the light above his head but I didn't care.

(Play Careless Whisper, Slow-motion)

"Miss... *Indistinctable" A blurry voice said. Woah..... Wow... So tall.... So.. handsome!!! Oh my! He's getting closer!

"Miss?" He said then the music stops. "Miss, Miss? Are you.. okay?" He said. I didn't realize that I froze for so long but luckily, I snapped out of it. "Whaa..aat?... OH YES!!! Sir, I'm really really sorry but... can you repeat what you just said? I'm very sorry." I said. "I hope he doesn't know that I froze, Urghh.. I'm so embarrassed!"

(Back to Warren's POV)

"No it's okay, I was just asking where the furniture section was." I said. "Well that was weird, she just froze in front of me. It seems like I'm not the only one getting lost." I thought.

"Oh, sorry sir. It is located at the fourth floor beside the school supplies." She replied. Then it seemed like she froze again. "Uhmm..... thank.. you.. then... miss." I said then I left inmediately to hurry upstairs.

(Saleslady's POV)

*Play Careless Whisper, slow-motion

"No... My Love, don't go yet!" I thought as he left in a hurry.

(Back to Warren's POV again.)

As I went up floor by floor, I couldn't help but stare at everything around me, it's so big! They even have their own pharmacy, clinics, and even a laundromat! I'm shocked because I don't really go out that much, I just like to stay in school with my friends.

After I reached the fourth floor, I could see the furniture section immediately, " Woah, it's so large. I could see everything from here. Chairs, countertops, cupboards, stools, "Woah..." I mumbled as I stared at the furniture. Who knew I could get so excited just because of furniture.

A couple of looks, tries and some spending after, I went home carrying a sleeping bag and electric stove. I bought more but they said that they could only move it tomorrow. When I arrived at home, it was already around 11 pm, the mall actually closes on 12 am. I didn't care where I was going to sleep, I just flopped the sleeping bag and went straight to sleep.
