11 Ch. 11 - New Beginning

"I'm sorry will. I'm sorry for loving you." *Gasps. I grabbed my chest and tried to steady my breath. "What?!" I said to myself and I sat on the side of my bed. "Agh.. it's that dream again. "What a great start for my graduation day." I laid down again.

"Forget about it and just be happy today."

I thought to myself as I stood up and took a bath with a head full of rampant thoughts. "Ugh.. I'm pretty sure that they won't come again this graduation." I thought to myself as the shower drips on my head and on my body.

(Flashback, Elementary Graduation.)

"Warren Lee!" The Principal announced on the stage. "Why are you crying Warren?" My teacher, Ms. Johnson said. "My parents, they didn't come!" I replied while I was sitting down, sobbing on the wall. "Oh, it's okay! I'll be your guardian for today, okay Warren?" Ms. Johnson said. "Okay." I replied.

"Warren Lee?" The principal said again. The teacher pulled me up and as we went up the stairs to the stage, I felt my tears falling down my cheek and dripping down to my neck. I have never felt so sad before. As I recieved the diploma, I thought to myself "What kind of parents do I have? They prioritized business over their own child?!" I cried but I tried to be happy for the photo as the photographer said to smile.

(Back to present.)

"Get over it already!" I shouted in the bathroom and punched the wall in front of me, I turned the shower off and got ready for school.

After I got ready in my toga, I went downstairs to eat breakfast. Then suddenly Lina had something to say "Master Lee, your parents have have gone out to attend a very urgent meeting, they said to eat well and not be late, they siad to inform you about the extra 10,000 they added to your bank account for you to spend during your summer free time, don't worry, they'll be coming later." "Oh, okay! Thanks for telling me!" I replied then she bowed and turned around and headed for the kitchen. Even when I was a kid, I really loved eating breakfast. Mostly because Lina is the one that prepares our breakfast. Mind you, she is an astounding cook with over 20 years of experience! Sometimes, I would call her in the middle of the night just for us to eat. She has been working for us since my dad was still newly wed with Mom. My favorite dish from Lina is her Filet Mignon with balsamic strawberries because it really is very harmonious in the plate and in my tongue, the savoriness of the steak plus the soury sweetness of the strawberries surpringsly takes my breath away. It's so tender that when you bite it, you're only left with nothing but pure happiness.

"Dish is served Master." Lina said with a smile. When she opened the cover, I saw something that made me so happy, MY FAVORITE!!! Ugh... This is exactly what I needed! "Thank you Lina! Come, eat with me!" I said to Lina, "Oh no, it's okay Master." She replied and left. This never gets old. This is definitely treasure on a plate. Definitely.

I finished breakfast as fast as I could and went to school as fast as I can. When I arrived in school, I immediately went to my classroom but it sure was hard with the people that blocked my way wanting to be able to take a picture with me on the last day of school. I never thought that I could be this "popular". When I arrived at my classroom, I saw my friends, they looked at me and ran to me sobbing so hard. "HUHUHU" they sobbed. "We're gonna miss you!" They said then hugged me tighter. I was the tallest out of the group so I wrapped my arms around the 4 four of them and I cried a bit. "I'll miss you too!" Then I could feel that they stopped hugging me but I didn't realize that they were already strangling. Their faces were so red and so we laughed because of it. "Warren! Don't cry! You'll ruin your "poker face" image and as the MVP in the basketball finals!!!" They said. "Haha, it's okay. Besides, there's only around 10 minutes left before we all take separate ways." I said then they their faces became sad and they hugged me again and started to cry. "HUHU, Warren!!!" The teacher then had to stop us because the program was about to start.

Then, we just sat there inside the big venue staring at the stage flourished with such beautiful bright lights, "Agh... What a good ending to our high school years." Justin, my friend who was one of the people who hugged me said. "I sure hope that it will be." I thought to myself.

Minutes later, I was still waiting for my parents to come but they haven't arrived yet. I'm starting to wonder where they are. We're about to go onstage.

I sense something bad.
