A fast-changing life

"It's time, isn't it girl. Today I dawn my scales, spread my wings, and with you as my guide, fly." Nathan's life seemed profoundly complicated for a kid his age; at five years old, he makes a decision that, if carried out, cannot be reversed. However, the next year sends mixed signals to both a dragon looking to make him a shifter and his friends who've encouraged him last year. Even as things are carried out though, the story doesn't always end there.
