"So you think your a god?"

"What? Who?"

"You don't know who's talking to you? Not a very bright child are you?"

"Hey!"

Yelling hey in the middle of the jarstem may have been a stupid idea as it disrupted the service, but it was justified.

*whispering* "Who are- what. What are you?"

"I am god, or at least, one of them, Detrium to be specific, god of gifts, nice to meet ya!"

"Hold on, are you in my head?"

"In heaven actually, your just the only one that can hear me."

I was confused so I left the service and headed to the bathroom to continue this strange conversation.

"So why can I hear you? And why are you talking to me anyway?!"

"Calm down, have you ever considered where your 'magical' healing abilities came from?"

"Not really."

"They came from the heavens Herb. In fact, from me. God of gifts ya see?"

"Well I have no reason not to believe a disembodied voice telling me where my power came from."

"Well that's not all, your gift gives you a divine connection to the gods, making you a kind of demi-god"

"Arnt those just from when a god has *cough cough* with a mortal? Am I mortal?

"Yeah you'll die eventually, but no that's not the only time demi-gods exist. But it is my hopes that you won't be a demi-god for long."

"What do you mean?"

"Your destined to become a god yourself Herb."

This was news to me, I didn't really know jack about God's and now I'm supposed to be one?

"How do I know I'm not just being pranked?"

"Ask for something."

I, without a second thought, said "a cheeseburger" and one appeared in my hands.

"Yeah alright your legit."

"Good, now I will give you your first task. You must adopt a second power."

"Adopt? A second power?"

"Listen, you have multiple powers within you, I left one of them for your immediate use when you were born, now you need to find the rest."

"How do I do that?"

"Completing challenges!"

By that he meant deadly death inducing death challenges. I litterally had to jump off a cliff for the first one. I'll get back to that later.

"The first challenge is to turn into a bird."

"I can shape shift?"

"Yep, your only hint on how to do it is to do what a bird would do."

"Like eating worms?"

"I said only one hint."

After that he seemingly left and I was alone in a bathroom with a cheeseburger and my thoughts.
