A fairy tail fanfiction

"Kendra! Where are you at I'm getting ready to leave" I questioned.

"No need to shout I'm in the kitchen" Kendra answered. She turned around and looked at me.

"Are you going to the guild this morning" She asked me. I shook my head no.

"I'm leaving on a job the request that came in yesterday about taking out a group of Vulcans I took that request and I'm getting ready to head out I was just letting you know I was leaving and I'll probably be gone about a week" I replied.

Kendra let out a sigh and replied "Okay Mizore goodbye and be careful out there will you"

I gave her a small smile "I'm always careful" and with that response I walked out the door. During the walk to the train station I pulled out my headphones and turned on my lacrama player since the ride to Clover from Onibus will be a long one. The job to take out the Vulcans takes place in a forest by Clover town. Some school kids are taking a trip to the lake on the other side of the forest so they want to make sure it's safe. It shouldn't take too long but I also want to take a few days away from Kendra's guild and her bugging me to join. I like Kendra I really do it's just that I'm a solo mage she helps me by letting me take jobs from her guild. I stay with her while I'm in Onibus I just don't want to join a guild and be tied down. I like my freedom, being able to go where I want when I want to and not having to worry about others or a team. I like being alone no one can betray you when you're alone. It's better that way trust me it is. I pulled out a book might as well pass the time. I must've fallen asleep because I woke up to an announcement saying that we'd be arriving in Clover in five minutes. I grabbed my bag getting off the train, might as well find a hotel I'll check in with the client tomorrow and do the job then since it's late. I made the short walk to the hotel and checked in grabbing my room key I went to turn around but bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're going" I snapped.

"Hey sorry no need to snap it was just an accident" He chuckled. I shot him a glare, rolled my eyes as I mumbled whatever and walked away.

Some people have no manners, but little did I know that soon I would be up talking to the same man before to long. I unlocked my room throwing my stuff in the corner with my shower items in my hand. After showering I went straight to bed ready for my mission tomorrow.

I woke up at about seven thirty rushing around my room considering I overslept. Having only half an hour before I meet with the client I get ready as quickly as possible, dressing in jeans and a hoody. Leaving the room walking to the cafe where I'm supposed to meet with the client, I walk into the cafe immediately seeing him. Heading over to where he's sitting at I greet him "Good morning Mr. Clyde I'm Mizore Akashiya a mage from the Moonstar guild I've come to help you with the Vulcan problem in the forest"

He gave me a smile "Good morning Mizore have a seat" I sat down and he handed me a folder. "Everything you need to know is in that folder when you have finished the job come meet me back here at ten thirty am" I skim over the details as he talks. I stand up and shake his hand laving the cafe so that I can get this over with. I head north towards the path going into the forest passing by a group of mages. I glance there way and keep walking barely noticing the guy I bumped into last night wearing a visor covering his face. Along with a guy with long green hair, another guy with short spikey blond hair and a woman with long brown hair. I look away and continue about my business, within no time I'm in the forest. "Well here goes nothing" I mumble to myself filling the path. I was about half a mile into the forest halfway to the lake when I ran into three Vulcans. I don't hesitate to start attacking them.

"Lightning Water Cyclone" that attack takes care of one of them two more to go. 'Water whip' takes out the next one. One to go I sent a full powered shot of lightning at the last one taking it out as well. I continued walking the last half mile to the lake not seeing anymore Vulcans, I look around making sure before heading back to town. Looking at the time I seen that I still had half an hour before having to meet the client once more. That took less time then I thought it would. I walked around the town wasting time before walking back to the cafe to meet the client to claim my reward.

I walk back into the cafe from this morning and see the client at the same table he was at a few hours ago. I walk up and sit down across from him.

"Thank you Mizore" He states sliding an envelope with the jewels in it. I give him a small smile "Anytime" I respond getting up to leave the cafe once again bumping into the guy from last night.

"We have to stop meeting like this" He chuckles. "I'm bickslow by the way". I spare him a glance "Mizore" and go to walk away but not before glancing at him one more time. He had red eyes that I could barely see through the visor, and blue hair peaking out from under his hood. Along with five totems floating above him. For some reason I was drawn to him but I wasn't going to let him know that. Giving him a smile I say "So you're a seith mage, interesting that must be why your eyes are covered" His jaw drops, I just smirk and walk away. Out of the corner of my eyes I see him and his friends watching me walk away. Knowing that we'll meet again some day.

I think I'm going to stop in Magnolia to see my friend Lucy she's a celestial spirit mage, I haven't seen her since I went and watched the grand magic games last year. She has long blond hair and ten of the twelve gold zodiac keys. She's really sweet and cares about everyone, she's also the most forgiving person I know. I walk to the train station to get a ticked for the next train to Magnolia, which I'm in luck the next one leaves in an hour. Sitting on a bench I pull a book out of my bag to read while I'm waiting. Before too long the green haired man sits down next to me pulling out his own book. He's a friend of the of the seith mage that I ran into earlier. "Hi we didn't get introduced early, my name's Freed it's nice to meet you" He greets me.

"Hello" I replied giving him a small smile. Both of us going back to our books. About half an hour later Bixlow and the brunette showed up with Bixlow sitting by Freed and her standing in front of me.

"My names Evergreen you're the girl we ran into earlier today" She looks at me waiting for my response.

"As I said earlier my name is Mizore" I reply forcing a smile. Not sure if I like her she seems a little rude. About ten minutes before the train was going to depart as I was getting up to get on board the blond guy showed up, he stands in front of me it's then I notice the scar on his eye in the shape of a lightning bolt.

"I'm Laxus and you're Mizore the one that we ran into earlier, that also knew about Bixlow's magic which how did you know that's why he wears the visor by the way" He shoots me a glare as he finishes talking.

"I say the totems and put two and two together now if you don't mind getting out of my way so that I can board the train I have a friend to go see and I want this to be a peaceful ride so I'd appreciate it if you left me alone and got out of my way thanks" I shoot him a glare as well and move to walk around him. He grabs my wrist to stop me.

"I'm not done talking to you" Laxus tells me.

"Well I'm done talking to you" I respond as I send a bolt of lightning down my arm to my wrist where he's holding me attempting to shock him. It doesn't affect him though surprising me. He must be a lightning mage.

"That's not going to work on me, you must be a lightning mage as well" He reply's a bit smugly.

"Not exactly" I say pulling away from him and walking onto the train, with all four mages filling me and going into the same compartment I walk into. Bixlow sitting next to me with Evergreen across from him and Laxus sitting in front of me. Freed sits down on the other side of Evergreen. Bixlow looks at me and I glance at him before pulling out my book intent on ignoring them. Throughout the train ride they attempt to talk to me but ignore them all until Bixlow speaks to me.

"So you're heading to Magnolia as well" He states.

"Yes I'm going to see a friend of mine she's a celestial mage and I haven't seen her since last years grand magic games she's really sweet" I answer him.

"By any chance is you're friends name Lucy" Bixlow questions.

I glance at him "Yes why do you know her"

"Yeah we're in the same guild" Bixlow tells me.

"Ah so you guys are Fairy Tail mages as well" I state simply. I then go back to reading hoping to put an end to the conversation.

"She's probably at the guild so if you want to you can walk to the guild with us" Bixlow offer while Laxus glares at him.

"Sure why not" I say while putting my book away knowing it's pointless to try and read since he keeps talking to me.

"So what kind of mage are you since you said you weren't a lightning mage" Evergreen questions me.

"I said I wasn't exactly a lightning mage not that I wasn't one. I use storm magic which just means that I can control the weather, however I only use the water and lightning part of my magic I don't use the wind or ice/snow part of my magic very often" I tell her. She just hums then goes back to filing her nail. Bixlow and I share a glance before he shrugs looking away. The rest of the train ride is mostly quiet.

After arriving at the Magnolia train station we all exit the train and head toward Fairy Tail. Bixlow and I are in the back of the group, he makes small during the walk towards the guild.

"How long are you in Magnolia for" He asks me.

"Just a few days to catch up with Lucy and hang out then I'm heading back to Onibus" I answer.

"Well why don't we hangout before you leave" Bix suggests.

"I suppose we can do that" I agree before walking into the guild with him and his friends.

"Yo Lucy we found someone in Clover said they know you" Bixlow shout over the noise of the guild. Lucy runs over to where we're standing while Laxus, Evergreen, and Freed head up to the second floor.

"Mizore I didn't know you were coming for a visit it's been so long let's go sit and catch up" She hugs me before dragging me to the bar a few feet away.

"Hey Mira can I get a strawberry shake and a rum and coke for Mizore" Lucy asks the white haired barmaid whose name I now know is Mira.

"Sure thing Lucy coming right" Mira smiles then walks away to get our order. We talk about what we've been up to while we wait. Mira walks back over a few minutes later and hands us our drinks.

"So Lu got yourself a boyfriend yet" I question her, she blushes and looks away.

"No not yet but I do like someone" She reluctantly tells me.

"Oh you do, who is it" I inquired looking around the guild to see if I could get an idea about who it might be.

"You've actually already met him" Lucy answers. I give her a small smile hoping that it wasn't the seith mage I was talking to.

"Oh well who is it Laxus Freed or Bixlow" I ask her.

"Well Freed sweet but it's not him and Bix he's nice, a little perverted but nice, it's not him either" Lu responds. She smiles at me which I return glad that it's not Bix she likes.

"So that means you like Laxus, he seems like a jerk but if he's the one you like then why not go for it" I tell her as she tries to shush me. I quirk an eyebrow at her.

"He's a lightning dragon slayer he probably just heard you saying that it's him I like that's why I didn't say his name when I was talking about who I like" She frantically tells me.

"Whoops sorry" I say while chuckling, she smacks my arm playfully but then froze. I turn around to see why she had froze. Standing behind me was Laxus.

"Well I'm going to let you talk, I'll just go talk to Bixlow" I tell Lucy giving her a sly smile before walking away.

"Hey Bixlow let's go get lunch Lucy's busy talking to Laxus and I'm hungry" I suggest.

"Yeah sure, see ya later Ever, Freed" He reply's to me and his team, then follows me out the door.
