Prologue

A man walked through a dead forest, fog clinging to the dark, looming trees. At first he seemed to be an ordinary man, but at second glance he became malice and spite incarnate. His eyes shifted color from red to yellow to pure black. He wore a black tux with a dark grey button up shirt underneath, for a splash of color he wears a blood red tie. He looked to be of African descent. In contrast to all of this he has pure white hair. He had a handsomeness that was like a god's or even a demon's.

"Is it ready?" He asked to what seemed to be thin air, with a voice that sounded smooth and extremely persuasive one moment, but became a harsh noise that tears at your ears the next.

"Give us another month and it will be perfect," the silky smooth voice of a lady came from nowhere, but, at the same time, everywhere at once. Then, where there was no one two seconds before there stood a beautiful woman. She was tall and pale skinned, her hair was a void-like black. Her black dress hugged her figure, outlining her curves perfectly. Her deep purple eyes could entrance anyone. What made this beauty strange was not any of those things, but rather the thick, red and black, scaly tail that stuck out from under her dress.

    "Good, thank you, Madeline."

"If you would allow it, I would like to go back to my work."

  "Go."

  "Thank you, Lucifer."

Something strange happened to Madeline as Lucifer walked away, she started to change, her arms grew longer and she bent over and placed her hands on the ground, her dress seemed to get tighter and tighter until it seemed to become part of her skin. Feather-like scales started to appear on her skin as her body started to enlarge, her head elongating, before, finally, an immense pair of wings sprouted from her back. In the span of a few seconds, she changed from a beautiful woman to a fearsome, intimidating dragon.

As Lucifer walked a tower rose up out of the mist, at first it was just a blurry outline, but as he came closer it became a massive cylinder of black and silver bricks with a large machine at the very top. It looked like a twisted version of a machine of war, crueler and uglier, but at the same time, more refined and beautiful. It was easy to tell that it was not finished, yet it was obvious what it was, A magic war machine. A machine of mass destruction.

This is my first time writing anything to post online, so please, if you see anything that can be improved, let me know, thank you!
