9 Emotional Morning.

The night passed away in a blink and You Xi Wang stayed immersed in his meditation. Early morning the day decided for duel Emily came and knocked on his door but got no reply, she waited and knocked again, but still got no reply, she felt worried, but she also couldn't enter the room without permission as the doors had advanced locking system which needs a special authority to be opened without the occupant's permission. Emily rushed to call You Zhichi as she had the permission to enter You Xiwang's room whenever she wanted.

Emily reached You Zhichi's room and knocked, instantly she heard a soft voice "come in" as she entered the room she saw You Zhichi putting on her black jacket. She was sporting knee-high laced boots with white denim shirt, a white top underneath her black jacket which she was zipping up to half oh its length. Her hair was tied in a ponytail and her petal-like lips had a lip gloss applied over while simple ruby studs adorned her ears giving a fiery vibe.

She looked very cute and energetic in the attire, she turned to see the nervous and impatient looking Emily and asked in her soft bell-like voice sounding concerned "What happened Emily, are you okay?"

Regardless of their statuses they grew up together and were very close like sisters because Chen Limao always strained the importance of good relationships among children regardless of their status. So when alone, these two beauties were like sisters.

"Zhichi I went to call young master out, but he did not reply, I waited but nothing happened. I feel a bit worried." Emily started her concern to her friend with no hesitation.

"Ara, my dear sister-in-law, you are already missing my brother only after one night? I need to find out what potion did that brat feed my best friend to be so head over heels for him." You Zhichi teased Emily causes a blush to emerge on the latter's face who dashed out for a bit but came back when she remembered the intensity of the situation.

"It's nothing like that, you bimbo. He didn't even come out for dinner last night. I am worried that he is putting up a brave facade in front of us so we do not worry. You also know the shock, he suffered after master and mistress passed away and he just came back home after two weeks. What if it re-surfaced, come with me and let's check on him?" retorted Emily and before You Zhichi could even say something she was dragged towards You Xi Wang's room.

On the way when she recalled the domineering change in her brother's behavior, she also becomes concerned with just a few moments they arrived in front of You Xi Wang's room.

You Zhichi pressed her palm against the door. But what they saw shook the depth of their souls, the walls had slash marks dragging along the floor and in the center of these marks lay You Xi Wang with his eyes closed, his clothes were also in shreds and his palm was wrapped around the shaft of the spear tightly. You Zhichi was the first one who came out of the stupor and yelled "Gougou" as she ran to her brother hoping that he was alright. She picked him up in her arms and checked him up and down. He seemed to be alright. Emily came out of her stupor and tears started forming in her beautiful eyes, fearing that something bad happened to her beloved. She also lunged towards him, but what happened next almost made them cough up blood.

You Zhichi took her brother in her embrace and she called out to him "Bro answer me, Bro please wake up" she heard a faint snoring sound. Both the ladies looked at each other and fell silent. The snoring sound became more clear.

You Zhichi wanted to slap awake her brother, but when she saw how tight he was holding onto his spear, she understood how much effort her brother put in to win. She let out a bitter chuckle and sighed, "No matter how much your mind grows, you are still a teenager. You have worked hard. Take a rest for a little longer." she gently wiped the drool at the corner of his mouth with the sleeve of her jacket and carried him to his bed.

She sat beside him as he unconsciously held her hand. She smiled as she gazed at him while stroking his hair gently. Emily watched in silence from the side. She knew that both the siblings have a lot on their plates right now and they needed each other more than anything. After a few minutes, Emily asked You Zhichi who was stroking her brother's hair in a soft voice, "What will happen after you get married? Who will look after him like you?"

You Zhichi looked at her and smiled softly and replied, "First, I will never get married. Second, You family gives full freedom to the members regarding relationships, unlike other families. Third, he needs me to be there now that mom is gone, he thinks I don't know why he is rushing to be strong, is it not because he wants nothing bad to happen to me. Is it not because he wants to protect me, Emily. You did not see how he wailed, when he visited mom and dad. He rarely calls me big sis, but since yesterday he has started calling me 'big sis' more than just chichi. Plus my cultivation method, the maiden heart sutra, requires for me to stay unmarried, and yes, I knew it when I choose it."

The room fell silent again and after a few more minutes You Xi Wang woke up sluggishly and looked at his sister and subconsciously sat up and rested his head on her shoulder and said in a kiddish voice, "I am hungry big sis Chichi, and also I want to visit mom and dad before the duel, I want to show them something" he snuggled against her shoulder, he liked this warm feeling of having a family after he came to this world, his sister patted his head and agreed to his wish to visit the graves of their parents.

While Emily had rushed out as soon as she found out that he was hungry.

"Bro, how did you make Emily agree to be your woman." teasingly asked You Zhichi.

"Nothing much I just kissed her hard and told her my emotions for her and she agreed, but I rejected doing sex as I want to make our bond stronger first, " he replied while being half asleep, but when he realized who he said it all until he was jolted awake and pulled away from his sister while pouting a bit he said "Chichi you..... I hate you" and he quickly jumped up from the bed and ran into the bathroom to avoid the embarrassment while his sister was doubled over while laughing her heart out.

After Emily returned, You Zhichi left the room to look at how the arrangements were going. After he freshened up You Xi Wang came out and complained to Emily about how his sister teased him. Their relationship was close so nothing was needed to be hidden. He flirted and teased Emily for a bit before picking up his spear and left with Robert to visit the grave of his parents.
