4 chapter 3

This week went by very fast!

I can't believe it's Saturday already,and here I am, standing in front of my full-length mirror, struggling to find the perfect outfit, while I'm trying to fit on an outfit, I got a text from Jace 'i'll meet you at Wendy's in about 20 minutes!"

I didn't reply, cause that got me running around like some headless chicken, trying to finish everything and get going, I know it's just breakfast, but still, a girl has to look good, and this is the first time I'm putting in some effort!

"Hey Lissa!" Jace greeted when I entered Wendy's, with the smell of waffles and pancakes overpowering my senses, almost making me drool.

"Hey Jace!" I made it to Wendy's, with a few minutes to spare.

"You look good!"

"Thank you! So do you" Jace and I kinda look like twins today. We both are in blue,but the only difference is I'm in a blue dress, paired with my blue wedges, and he's wearing a blue and white t-shirt with a dark blue jean, and a pair of 27c's. I also left my hair down in it its curly waves.

"So how was your talk with Steph?"

"It was good, intimidating, but good!"

"I was actually surprised when I got a text from you, I was like 'wow! I can't believe he did it?', I was surprised, really!"

"I told you I was going to do it!"

"I know! And you did it!"

"I did it!" We sat down in a booth by the corner,and a few minutes later a waitress came to take our order.

"What can I get for two today?" She asked,taking out a notepad from her apron pocket,and a pen from her black bun.

"I'll have the breakfast special,please." I said scanning through the menu.

"Same for me to,please, and two milkshake. Chocolate?" Jace ordered asking me if I wanted chocolate. I nodded my head at the waitress with a smile,as she put the notepad and pen, into her apron pocket,taking the menus,and headed of into the direction of the kitchen.

After our breakfast came and we finished our food, which was very delicious, we went outside and Jace had this idea of making the most of this sunny, cloudless sky day.

"How about we head on down to the park and like chill and talk or something?" Jace suggested.

"Yeah that sounds great!"

"Cool! Let's go!"

Jace took me to this amazing park down the street, we were walking around, watching the little kids play around and he even bought me cotton candy. The blue one.

"So there's this carnival, going on later, if you want maybe we can like check it out!?" Jace asked as we almost  reached the end of the park.

"Yeah sure, I'm down for anything!"

Actually this is the first time I'm down for anything, Jace just has this way of getting me out of my comfort zone.

After we were done in the park, we headed down to the carnival, that just about two blocks away from the park! It was becoming fairly dark now, but it wasn't cold, there was a soft, warm, gentle breeze, swirling around, and blowing my hair all around my face, so I took my hair tie from around my wrist,and fastened my hair in a high ponytail. Just so it wouldn't be nuisance later on.

"Oh my gosh Jace, look at how big that Ferris wheel is!" I said pointing towards the brightly lit giant wheel. No way! I've never been to a carnival before and it's amazing that I get to do this with Jace for the first time!

"You ever been to a carnival before?" He quizzed with raised eyebrows, adorning a playful smirk upon his luscious pink lips.

"Is it that obvious?" I asked with a smile.

"Maybe!" Said Jace as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Shut up and let's go!" I dragged him towards the entrance,not that he was protesting,on the contrary, he was very much as eager as I was.

"Yes ma'am."  I love how much Jace makes me laugh, I've never laughed this much in my entire life, and I watch a lot of comedies! And I've only known Jace for a short period of time!We paid for the tickets, with Jace insisting he pays for my ticket, leaving no room for me to protest,and went inside.

We went to the smaller stalls first. At this water-shooting game, I won a tiny teddy, and at the ring toss, Jace won this giant rainbow-coloured unicorn, and I got to keep it! Yay!

"So how did that check up go yesterday?" Jace asked, right after we stopped to get candy floss. Again.

Oh my! I totally forgot to tell Jace  about the check up!

"It was ok, nothing major!" I said with a wave of my hand.

"Did you tell the doctor about those headaches you get?"

"Uhm no! Let's go on the Ferris wheel!"

I think Jace got the idea that I didn't want to talk about it, because he left the topic right there and took me to the Ferris wheel!

"Oh my gosh! This is amazing, I can see everything from up here!" The view was amazing. The lights that  were spreading across the city,twinkled as bright as the stars in the sky. Covering everything in a blanket of darkness with shining glitters thrown on top. The full moon reflecting on the water,made it look as if is was straight out of a fairytale.

It. Was. Breathtaking.

That view didn't last long though. Although the wheel had been turning around for almost 5 minutes, it wasn't enough. I was silently hoping for a cliché movie moment to happen, where the wheel gets stuck, and we're right on top, enjoying the view, but unfortunately that didn't happen. It was going slow, sure, but it felt like I couldn't take the time to enjoy the view.

"They should make those things go slower!" I said once we stepped off the wheel,and started walking towards the exit.

"Why?" Jace asked, stuffing his and hands in the back pockets of his jeans.

"So that people can enjoy that view a bit longer! Did you see the night lights stretching over the city! That was amazing!" I said, twirling around with the breeze kissing my face, but then I started getting that dizzy feeling again...

My head was spinning in all sorts of directions. I've experienced the headaches before,but this is even worse.

Why was this so much worse than the ones before. How serious was these headaches? Will it ever end? Will it-

"Lissa! Are you ok?" Jace asked interrupting my thoughts. That was the last thing I heard before everything went dark!
