16 The kitten's Baptism

Lucius is now awake and is currently training with the help of the pixie.
Meanwhile, Damian, on the other hand, is now in front of the kitten.
Earlier, after Damian heard out Flan's opinion, Damian and Flan then discussed a few points in regard to their views and come up together with various things to do.
As Flan returned in her room to start with her own work in regards to their preparations, It would then bring us back to the situation with Damian being now in front of the kitten.
It was now time to give it a name for its baptism.
He first thought of a simple name for pets like black kitty, or blacky, before thinking that it was largely inappropriate since the cat is nothing like a pet but more of being one of his current hands.
When he asked it for its gender, it identified itself as a female so he is now thinking of a fitting name for a feline.
But after thinking for a while, Damian just decides to give it a simple name... And a fitting name flashes on his mind as he thought so, it was a name from a book that he read before.
It was a novel about assassins with lots of fighting stuff going on, particularly aimed at older male readers. The female protagonist of that story was a silent and stoic person but does her best to execute her missions to the best of her capabilities.
It was written that the protagonist moves like a cat because of her stature and the martial arts that she trained. And what resembles a cat was not just the movement, even her appearance resembles one, mainly because of her hairstyle that looks like she had a cat's ears and her weapons which are iron claws.
The protagonist on that story's name was 'Saiah'
And so, Damian said as he looks straightly into the kitten's eye
"From now on, you will have a name.. And your name is 'Saiah'..."

A window then appeared on Damian's mind trying to ask for confirmation.
It seems that naming someone starting now won't immediately use up a 'Baptism' chance unlike the first one. Earlier, when he gave a name to his avatar which is Lucius, it immediately becomes baptized. So, he could rest assured now that he won't ever accidentally name a generic monster on accident just by calling it in some random names when he has some of the baptism chances on stock.
As he was thinking so, he then confirmed the baptism.
After he did so, mana gathered on the kitten as it then shone in bright light.
A window then appears.

After seeing the baptism window which gave only a third of what he had on his first baptism, despite expecting such outcome, Damian was still a little bit disappointed.
Damian dismissed the window to examine the kitten's changes. But as he did so, he suddenly heard a husky female voice saying.
"Thank you, master, for granting me an identity... I will give my all, to meet your expectations"
'!?'
Trying to confirm if the voice really came from what he thinks it did, Damian put his focus in front of his eyes as the bright light begin to fade.
And as it did so slowly, then he knew.
He was right, it really did come from the one he thought it did. It came from the kitten. But it cannot be even said if it could still be called a kitten anymore.
It doesn't look anything like its former self, it doesn't even look like a cat anymore.
If Damian was about to describe what the former kitten looks right now then there is only one word to say.
Shadow.
But if he had to give a more detailed description of what the former kitten looks right now, then he could only say that it looks just like how he described the protagonist of the book.
But instead of being a human, the former kitten just looks like a bunch of shadows congregating together to form the shape of a woman, it had the mid-length hairstyle with a top that looks like it had cat's ears, and it even has a tail of its own.
It had even imitated the namesake clothes that the protagonist had; black biker jumpsuit, black gloves, and black boots.
But compared to the ones on his imagination, the clothes she has looked far more sinister, and that's because of the shadow-like mists which keep on wriggling on its surface.
Looking at the shadow lady in front which is currently kneeling on one knee, Damian looked at her face...
She had a beautiful face that looks like carved on black marble, she also has note-worthy eyes, particularly how it was all black with no pupils, it was far darker than the darkness of the shadow, and it was just black overall.
The overall look of the Lady... gave her the look of a mysterious beauty but with a sinister atmosphere.
Still though, thinking about her current behavior.
She even had an initiative by itself to give thanks, to the point of speaking out itself.
Before, they have been only communication using their thoughts.
Its current state somehow resembles the pixie. Still being connected to him and the system, but also having a thought and a little bit of freedom on its own.
It somehow looks like giving life to something. Not to be cruel on the kitten before, it was alive for sure, but it didn't give the feeling it has right now, it was really hard to associate it to the kitten before.
A sense of it having a will on its own, just like the pixie. A unique entity.
Damian then used 'Inspect' on her.

Looking at Saiah's stats, Damian found that all of her stats had increased with most of it doubling, the huge increase came from her magic, it was at its lowest stats before which only used to have a value of C, and now it jumps up a whole grade, reaching a whole value of B.
Saiah even had a new Heroic Skill called 'Heroic Senses' which again didn't have any description written on the Catalogue, though it probably had to do with some increase in her senses.
Now that he looked at Saiah's status, it was to be noted that she also had the water arts that he had looked for yesterday which he even bothered much to waste more than a thousand points for.
Though it could be said that he may have wasted much but Damian plans to have Saiah to always be on the move, so she probably won't have that much time to be on the base all the time in the future which was one of the reasons he bothered to use the points anyway.
As Damian looked at Saiah, he recalled what Flan requested earlier.
Earlier when Flan heard about the entrapment plan and Saiah's findings, Flan requested to have the kitten kidnap a sample of a tall goblin and a reared wild dog in order to somehow have a simple grasp on their information.
Flan even talked about wanting to have the leader immediately but it would probably cause the goblins to panic.
Right now, Flan is planning to develop a weapon and traps that would be fatal to the goblins.
Damian plans to have Saiah do the kidnapping at night, meanwhile, Flan is currently checking her own supply of herbs if she could use any out of it.
Earlier Flan explained to Damian that a part of her ability was limited.
Currently, she has a modified space with her things inside.
And now she is checking the herbs she had inside if she could use any.
But still, it seems that she could buy some of the things she knew on the System Shop, so it only boils down if she had the points available to replenish some of her stock.
Though she could buy things like some plants and other inorganic ones, it remained a problem that high-quality things aren't available in the shop.
Still, she said that trying to replenish organic supplies is expensive and it would probably be better if they would have to manually harvest one, so, Flan is currently excited at the thought that they could harvest a thousand of goblins' bodies and some humans at that, or so she said.
That's why, right now, Flan is currently... very motivated.
