CHAPTER 94

287 AC

A/N: Aermir's armor is added to the Pics

After receiving the armor, I ordered from Mikken, I made my way to the tourney area.

"Aermir, wait for me!"

Robb and Jon were running towards me when I turned around. When they came to me, he saw the clanking sack in my hand and said

"Is it true you're joining Tourney?"

"Yes."

"Are you crazy! We know you're strong, and you've defeated many bandits, but do you think fighting against knights will be like fighting bandits?"

I smiled ad said.

"Of course not, it is going to be more fun, and I think the fights will be competitive. If I were the strongest, there would be no point in fighting against them."

Robb lowered his head dejectedly and said.

"You're becoming more and more powerful than us. How can I be your lord when I can't even do half of what you do?"

"As you say, you need to be a lord, not a warrior. Your understanding of management is much more important than your understanding of fighting, and it is important that you can protect yourself and know how to lead an army, but your most important duty will be to hand over the north to your children in a better way than when you take it over from your father."

I turned to Jon and said.

"As for you, if you want to be a brother of the Night's Watch, you need to get much better with the sword and scouting. Now let me have some fun, and let's see how far I could go with a sword only."

Squires and commoners must first qualify for the main tournament. Everyone did not have the right to go to the tourney field and fight with the knights. About 30 squires and 15 commoners were in the qualifying area, and only 10 of us could join the tourney.

To join the tourney, the commoners had to give ten silver stags, the knights had to give one gold dragon, and the noble knights had to give ten gold dragons. In this way, as much as possible insecure and incompetent people did not waste the time of everyone there by joining the tourney.

The majority of the squires were Starks, but about 10 were squires that had come with other lords' knights. As soon as I entered this area in my armor, everyone started to whisper among themselves. Mikken had taken 17 gold dragons from me for this armor set. I think I got duped, but this was my first proper set of knight armor, and I liked how it turned out, so I just bought it. When you look at the stats of each, the strongest had 7.5 str and 7.8 speed.

I stepped into the middle of the fighting area, raised my voice with mana, and said.

"let's not waste each other's time. Is there anyone here willing to fight me?"

They began to make a fuss among themselves.

"Who is this smug brat?"

one of them stood up and was about to walk right up to me. One of Stark's squires grabbed his arm and said.

"Are you thirsty for your death? Do you realize who you're talking to? he is The Bane."

The squire, who had stood up, stepped back momentarily and hesitated whether to step into the fighting area or not. Then he sat back down, and none of them were getting up. I turned to the knight who was waiting for us and said.

"None of them challenge me. Does this count as me passing the qualifier?"

while scratching the back of his head and saying.

"Yes, we could do that. "

he turned to the rest of the participants and said.

"I'm asking one last time. Is there anyone among you who wishes to fight Aermir Drasil? Then he is the first one to qualify."

........

I always wear the straps of my armor a little more loosely, so I can activate the Quersumby (oakshield) magic from under my armor. This provides extra defense and, at the same time, reduces the blunt force trauma by cushioning. After the qualifiers were over, the real tourney started in the afternoon, and my first opponent was a familiar face.

Hugo Moss, the asshole that kept beating me for joy. He got stronger, but not as much as me. He had 8.2 str and 7.7 spd, especially in speed. He was so slow compared to me; I had 9.2 spd. I used all of my buffs. As our ancestors said, "You reap what you sow," he will be reaping the storm he sows.

At the signal to start the fight, I charged him with all my speed, and as he did not expect this, he was surprised and swung his sword a little late. His sword came to my right arm, but thanks to my armor and armor magic, I could barely feel his attack.

He couldn't slow me down, so I continued my charge. I hit him with my shoulder so hard that he flew about 2-3 meters backward. I felt like an unstoppable tank. He got the wind knocked out of him so that he couldn't get up right away. I walked slowly towards him, grabbed his right foot, spun him, and threw him like a sack of potatoes. He crushed into the wooden wall and started groaning on the ground without being able to get up. I got close to him and said in a voice only people close to us could hear.

"You are not worthy of my sword."

The fight didn't even last for about a minute, and the audience was shocked and didn't know for a moment how to react, and after a few seconds, the silence gave way to a deafening cheer.

I could hear King Roberts' thunderous laughter, and he was saying

"Just the kind of warrior I like, HAHAH!"

People came into the arena and took him away. I saluted the king and the lords, then left the arena too. An hour later, the second round started, and I also met a familiar face on this round, Wyland Flant. He was knighted a few years ago and currently has 7.5 str and 8.2 spd.
