1 Intro: Lost in the mountains

Somewhere in Greece, as far as the eye could see, myriad vibrant colors basked in the last of day's light. Lush, vivid, green vegetation flourished among the sandy brown earth valley floor, the mountains of steel grey stone were clustered by clumps of yellow grass, that eked out from cracks of the fragmented, weathered granite and a sinking sun eclipsed into the peaks, casting a golden hue upon all below, before fading into the horizon, leaving the land cool and dark.

Drake sat on a cliff's edge, legs swaying in the air far from the valley floor. He held a flask of lukewarm coffee and half a squashed sandwich, The last of his supplies, as he watched the sunset.

"I've sure cocked this one up, haven't I," Drake said to himself, sighing, as he slurped up the last of his coffee. After dusting the crumbs off his legs, he grabbed his backpack, he had perched on a rock behind him, storing in it his now empty flask.

He pulled out a GPS co-ordinator from within one of the bags side compartments and, not for the first time that day, attempted to turn it on. The screen fizzed a rainbow of static for a few moments, before dying.

"Arghhh you piece of shit!" Drake roared, before flinging the device off the cliff's edge. He watched it soar through the air momentarily before vanishing.

Reality rippled around where the thrown device disappeared, similar to the ripples created by a pebble skipped upon a calm lake.

This wave of distorted space rushed at Drake, it enveloped him and he too vanished into the void.
