A week or so after the midterms. Amara was reading an Agatha Christe thriller when she heard her phone ping. It was 2 am, who is even texting me at this hour wondered Amara.

Conversation :

AnayaLoveBug : Hey You up?

AmalovesPotatoes: Yup, Whatsapp? All good?

AnayaLoveBug : Yea, I need some advice.

AmalovesPotatoes: Sure. Tell me, girl. <3

AnayaLoveBug : Remember the guy from our class who kept talking to me?

AmalovesPotatoes: Ryan Mclaren? Yea, what about him?

AnayaLoveBug : Yea, him. We started talking after class and a few weeks ago we exchanged our numbers. We even met a few times. I thought it was something friendly but it seems like I led him on....

AmalovesPotatoes: WAIT WHAT?

What makes you think you did? Also, he is sort of a weird guy. He is super

conservative from what I know of him......

AnayaLoveBug : He just sent me a text saying he loves me and wants to ask me out in person. I am so confused I don't know what to do?

Should I meet him? I am not sure if that is a good Idea...

AmalovesPotatoes: WOAAA GIRL. Ohk, I think you need to take the call on your own. I can only make

suggestions.

Like, answer the questions. Do you have feelings for him?

If you cant say a strong NO to yourself. Then I think you should meet him.

AnayaLoveBug : I am not sure babe. He is a really sweet guy, I like his company. But, its too soon to

say anything really... I am so confused...

AmalovesPotatoes: Alright go and talk to him. Tell me when you meet him and keep your phone

close. I will come and bail you out if needed.

AnayaLoveBug : Thanks girl, I'm so worried and anxious.

AmalovesPotatoes: Chill. Its gonna be fine. You can say no or yes or anything. It's your choice, so

calm down and get some sleep.

Also, does anyone else know about this?

AnayaLoveBug : Yea, I told Harry too.

AmalovesPotatoes: Cool. Get some sleep. We can meet tomorrow and talk about this. CALM DOWN.

Amara was surprised to hear this had happened. She had not known that Amara had gotten that close to Ryan. That would explain why she had been MIA a few times over the last week.

Ryan had been a little weird, she had heard him pass comments on her clothing a few times saying her skirts were too short or the sleeves needed to be longer. She thought it was not ok. But, Maybe he was a nicer person once you got to know him.

After all, he had gotten Anaya interested in him enough to consider listening to his proposal.

She Sighed wondering when she would find a guy who intrigues her enough to capture her attention and went back to her book.
