15 Chapter 15
On the weekend, Amara called her parents spoke to them about how her week was and told them she was going shopping that day. She had almost always gone shopping with her parents, both of them had a very modern and stylish taste. They had always helped her dress wonderfully, this would be her first time shopping without them.
Amara called Anaya to ask her if she would want to meet up and go shopping together. Anaya says she can make it but would only be able to come after 4 pm. So, Amara decided to go alone, she was going to send pictures to her parents and decided that way.
She dressed up in clothes that were easy to change in and out of, A simple plain red flowy dress that ended at her knees , dramatic sleeves, and a pair of white sneakers. While she walked to the campus gate to hail a cab she saw Zui at the gate too. After greeting each other, she asked Zui where he was off to. Zui said, "I am going to grab something to eat off-campus, I am bored of the same menu. Where are you off to alone? Is it a date?" ;)
Amara told him that she was going to find a dress for the party. No one else was available for the whole day so she chooses to go alone.
Zui says " I will join you in the shopping spree if you take me to lunch and treat me, sister".
Amara laughs and agrees. They board the cab to the restaurant first since both of them were hungry foodies.
They went to a place that served the cheesiest burgers in City A, Zui was a person who loved burgers, and Amara and fries had been inseparable since she was a kid. So this place became an obvious choice for them.
Once they sat down and ordered food that definitely was too much for the two of them. Zui received a call, while Amara stepped out to get some ketchup. When Amara comes back Zui looks a little uncomfortable, So she directly asks him what was going on.
Zui says " I was supposed to meet a friend of mine and completely forgot about that. So, when he said he would come here I was not able to say No. Is it ok if he joins us? Will you be uncomfortable? If you will be I can ask Sia to come over and accompany you for a short while."
Amara replies smiling " Don't worry, I won't be uncomfortable at all. However, if you think your friend would mind I can carry on by myself its not an issue. Don't worry about it brother! Calm down I am an independent woman"
Over the next 30 mins, both of them devour 2 gigantic burgers and a pack of fries. Amara was already in a food coma slouching in her chair and Zui was well on his way to one when he ordered another plate of fries.
Through her blurry vision, a slouching Amara notices a man walk into the restaurant dressed in all black. He wore a crisp black shirt and jeans, his face was mostly covered by the dark glasses he wore. While It wasn't easy to make out who he was, The man definitely had a very commanding presence. Everyone else in the room turned to look at him.
As he made his way toward their table Amara sat up straight and realized this man was Yang Feng and He was here to meet them. THE FRIEND ZUI WAS TALKING ABOUT WAS HIM.
