13 Chapter 13

Today had been a weird day for Amara Li, almost nothing had gone as she had expected. But, in the end, things had sorted themselves out. She now had a couple of things to sort out tomorrow. Firstly, She was going to murder Jiang for all the panic he caused. She was not intimidated by his behavior and was not going to stand down like the others.

Secondly, She needed to talk to Li Ling and thank the man who had helped her. As much as she was in a hurry, her behavior was not really nice. She had been quite blunt and rude to him absolutely disregarding any reactions from him.

Finally, She needed to talk to Sia to convince him to actually turn up. He was one of the class hunks and if he did not turn up the seniors would not like it.

She texted all three boys to meet her for lunch tomorrow so she could have these conversations, After which she went to bed.

The next morning she got up and checked her phone to see if they had agreed to meet. Amara had texted in the class group, where all three had responded yes. However, all 3 had sent her personal texts saying they would meet her separately. She did not mind.

However, Jiang said he was leaving early so he had asked her to meet before class. She knew there was little time before it at this point but she did not mind. Since scolding him should not take to long.

She hurriedly went to get ready, she did not have time to dry her hair. She got dressed in an off-shoulder white blouse with a pink midi skirt. It was a cooler day so she had started sneezing by the time she got to the cafe to meet Jiang.

The idiot boy was sitting in the corner by himself with a huge headset on his ears looking at his phone. Today, he was dressed in a light blue Lenin shirt. It looked almost white and it made him look handsome and approachable rather than like his cold distant self. When Amara got there she had to wave in front of his face to get attention.

She sat down as he looked up and sneezed. He just laughed and said u look like a stupid rabbit. How dare he!!!!! Amara thought. This was the first time she had seen him smile and it suited him a lot.

Amara just started scolding him for not signing the previous day when he just held her hand. This was something that made Amara freeze, She stopped speaking.

He said, let me explain, I had a family emergency and had to go home unexpectedly. The situation at home is not the best, I have to go home for the next week too because of these issues. I am leaving in an hour. I just came to campus to meet you so I could explain. This is when she notices the packed suitcase placed next to him.

Amara sneezes again, this time while Jiang smiles and gives her a handkerchief. He says, Don't come out without drying your hair. Crazy girl. You seem to be prone to colds you should be more careful.

Amara nodes.

Jiang stands up and says he will leave now if there is nothing else. Amara stands up too and asks him to take care and be careful. Just as he is about to leave he turns back comes close to her. Towering over her with the height difference puts a hand on her damp head, says take care Amara and leaves.

Amara sits down and just tries to process what had happened. She does not notice that there was someone who noticed the whole interaction.
