She met the man of her dreams. Her literal dreams. Luna never thought of finding love in such a bizarre way and no one knows how it would end either. They're leaving their love on fate's hands, hoping that one day, the strings of their destiny would let them meet.

Now what is a dream?

A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, although they have been a topic of scientific, philosophical and religious interest throughout recorded history.

What does it mean to meet people in your dreams?

As the statement above said, a dream is a succession of images. Meeting someone in your dream could mean that you were thinking about them just as you were about to fall asleep. This leaves an imprint on your mind, and the characters on your dream acts according to how you want them to act subconsciously.

However,

Mutual dreams have been reported. Though it is very rare, there are people who share the same dreams and actually meet and talk in the dream itself.

Where did you get the idea to write the story?

Okay, I've been dreaming about someone for so long, and though I don't have any confirmation that we shared the same dream, I created a fictional world where mutual dreaming was possible between the two characters of my story. Having that said, this story "A Dream Apart" was made, and the scenes depicted in this story DID NOT HAPPEN IN MY DREAM AT ALL, so the scenes here are all brand new and it doesn't have any real life experiences either.
