The Story of a Cub

After a little while Alicia finally calmed down, she was still slightly scared and at the same time curious about the sensation from earlier. But that would have to be put at the back of her mind for now.

Osha was still naked, but by this point Alicia was used to seeing naked girls so did not really react to it. She had no clothes for herself, besides her [Spirit Armour], so right now they had to hope that Ignis and Vera had some clothes Osha could wear when they found them.

"Okay… well I'm glad I know your name now Osha. Hehe that's a really nice name." Alicia says, feeling her usual happiness return to her for the first time this morning.

"Right! My mother gave me the name and she always said that she picked the name ages and ages ago and said that she would call her first born but I like your name as well Alicia did your mother give you your name? Or was it your father oh sorry that was insensitive of me you might only stay with one parent but oh well we can talk about that later, anyway where are you from? And how come we are heading up the hill towards the mountains? Mother said that there are lots of strong dangerous monsters up there so I shouldn't go up there…" (Osha)

"Errrr…" (Alicia)

They had began there search for Ignis and Vera, but since they had left Osha had not stopped talking. Which left Alicia with little chance to answer any of the numerous questions that Osha had asked.

Eventually though, she began struggling to breath as she kept going on and on. So Alicia had to jump in to stop her talking before she died of asphyxiation.

"hah, hah, hah… Sorry about that hehe. I got to talk to someone for the first time so I got really excited and couldn't stop." Osha says while laughing.

"Haha it's fine, I can understand that. I'm super happy I get to talk to you as well!" Alicia says with a toothy grin.

Hearing this makes Osha really happy, and she grabs Alicia's arm and gives it a big hug. She then links both their arms and they walk like that from then on.

"Anyway, I guess I should tell you a few things now before you get to shocked and answer a few of you're questions."

Osha looked excitedly at Alicia, she seemed to have taken a strong liking to Alicia and couldn't wait to find out more about her.

"Hmmmmm okay I'll answer a few of your questions, first I live with my Mother who gave me my name when I hatched. I don't know who my Father is… I should probably ask about that at some point." Alicia said that last part to herself as she wonders how her Mother has a avoided telling her all this time.

As she thought back, she realised that every time Alicia brought the question up, her mother would always come up with an excuse to leave or just straight up run away from Alicia.

[How weird… I will have to corner her at some point.] Alicia thought to herself, though this line of thought soon led to her missing her Mother a little, which brought Alicia's mood down.

"… Big sis Alicia?" Osha looked up at Alicia as she had noticed that she has stopped talking.

"AH! Sorry, got lost in my thoughts hehe…" Alicia says, breaking her away from her thoughts.

Seeing Alicia had gone back to normal, Osha's smile returned and asked Alicia too keep talking about herself and asked her where she came from…

"Well me and my friends come from up inside the mountain range…" Alicia started to say, then Osha's eyes brightened up more.

"WOW! So you guys must be super strong!" Osha shouted happily, making Alicia feel rather good and her arrogance began to shine through.

"Hahaha! Yupp, I am the strongest where I'm from! Wait… no, my Mother is the strongest and then it's me!... Hmmm actually I have never beaten Terre before either… Third strongest?... Aura is a bit scary as well…" Alicia again began to trail off, slowly getting down on herself once again. This time though she was able to stop herself.

"…Nnnnnn, I'll just have to challenge them all when I get back home! Then we shall see who is the strongest!" Alicia shouted as she managed to recover and pump herself up.

"Anyway, is it okay if I ask some questions about you Osha?" Alicia said curiously, to which Osha gave a happy nod. Though her happiness was due to Alicia perking up again.

"Okay, so you talked about your Mother, do you know where she is now?" Alicia asked.

Alicia knew that this was probably a difficult subject. After all, she was a young bear cub that was all alone and she even mentioned her Mother earlier, so she must have been with her at some point. Unsurprisingly, Osha looked down with a sad smile.

"Well, I have lived with both my Mother and Father in this forest for all of my life. There are quite a few monsters, but we are the clear strongest and even I can take down quite a few of the monsters myself. My Mother is super kind and strong, my Father is very doting and just as strong as Mother is, though she is definitely the boss between the two of them hehe…" She gives a little giggled, remembering her Mother and Father which makes Alicia smile as well.

"But one day, as we were making our way through our usual area, a lot of creatures that I hadn't seen before turned up and started pointing their weapons at us. Mother and Father tried to tell them to leave, but they didn't listen and got ready to attack us. They were the creatures that attacked you and the Lizardmen before…"

[Humans…] Alicia thought to herself, thinking how bad her first impression of humans in this world has been.

"Huh? So, you saw me battling before?" Alicia asked, thinking Osha may know what Alicia is.

"Not really, only the start. Once your friends left then I left the area as well, I sensed it was getting dangerous so I wanted to move away. Once it calmed down a bit again, I came back and you were just getting ready to leave so I followed you…" (Osha)

[So she didn't see me transform into my Dragon form and when she came back I was already back in my humanoid form…] Alicia thought to herself, while also reminding herself to tell Osha what race she was later…

"I see… you okay to keep telling me about your Mother and Father?" Alicia checked, seeing that Osha's mood was getting worse as she told her story.

"…Yeah, it's fine. Once the creatures looked like they were going to start attack, Mother and Father told me to go back to our home, which was a small cave a bit back from where we were. I didn't want to at first, but they were making such serious faces and I didn't want to get in the way. So, I did as they asked me and I left. They said they wouldn't be long and would come get me once it was safe…" (Osha)

Alicia's bad feeling in her stomach grew once more as she knew what was coming…

"… But they didn't come and get me. I waited a long time but they never came, eventually I left and went to look where I left them. But there was nothing there but signs of fighting, all that was left was a faint smell that cut off not very far from that place. I went back, hoping maybe I passed them on the way there and they would surprise me when I got home. Again, it was empty…" Osha said, her voice was starting tremble and her eyes starting to leak tears.

Alicia put an arm round her and pulled her in for a hug, rubbing her back comfortingly as she did so. Osha eventually calmed down a bit to continue her story.

"… I waited for a while longer, then I told myself that Mother and Father would not want to see me like this. So, I started to venture out and catch things and keep myself busy. In fact, that is when I saw your group making your way through the forest, when I was on one of my hunts. I got curious and decided to follow you… And not long after, I got to meet you face to face instead of just watching you." Osha smiled happily through tear stained face, which pulled at Alicia's heart strings.

Alicia stroked her soft hair, to which Osha started make satisfied noise in approval.

"Thank you for telling me your story Osha, you are a really brave girl… Your Mother and Father would be really proud of you." Alicia said with peaceful smile much different to what she usually made.

"… I…Thank you, big sis Alicia." Osha was slightly shocked by Alicia's words, but smiled to stop the emotion getting the best of her again. She hugged Alicia's arm tightly once again as they walked through the forest.

After a bit of walking, the conversation between them lightened up again a bit…

"NO WAY! YOU'RE A DRAGON!" Osha shouted with surprise and looked Alicia's small body up and down.

"Yeah? Why is that so surprising?... and why did you look me up and down when you said that?" Alicia said squinting her eyes at Osha, believing she knew why Osha was checking out the scale of her body.

"Welllll, Mother told me that Dragons are big dangerous creatures and are the strongest single beings in this world! But then I look at you-OWOWOOWOWOWWWW! Big sis, why are rubbing your knuckle on Osha's head!" Osha shouted out in pain while being put in a headlock.

"Because this big sister needs to teach this little sister about manners!" Alicia said as kept going with her punishment.

"B-B-But big sis you are quite small! I know I call you big sis, but I am almost as tall as- OWOWOWOWOW! Stop you are going to break my head!" Osha shouted, the pressure and rubbing on her head only getting stronger as she tries to explain herself.

"Shut up you squirt!" Alicia shouted angrily, not letting up at all.

A little while later.

"Uuuuu, so mean big sis. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings…" Osha said as she pouted unhappily.

"Hmph! You deserved it." Alicia says, while folding her arms and turning her face away from Osha, not regretting her punishment at all.

They continued further once again when Alicia dropped another bombshell on Osha…

"YOU'RE A QUEEN OF A COUNTRY!" Osha shouted in amazement once again, this time stopping herself from looking Alicia up and down again to avoid the punishment.

"Haha yup! Though it is quite small at the moment, I am sure in the future that we will be the strongest kingdom in the world!" Alicia shouted happily, imagining her future, super strong kingdom. Her eyes literally glowing with anticipation for when that day comes.

While Alicia was bragging about the potential of her kingdom Osha was…

"*Whisper* No way, my little big sis Alicia is actually a Dragon Queen of a country… *Whisper*" Osha was having trouble believing who she had bumped into in the forest. After seeing Alicia's clumsy, ditsy, kind and angry personality. She began to get a different impression of Dragon's then the one that her Mother had given her.

[Hmmm I wonder if Alicia's Mother is different as well] Osha thought to herself…

Halls of Valen Castle.

"Achoooooo!" (Petra)

"You okay, Lady Petra?" (Terre)

"Terre, I told you to just call me Petra! But yes I am fine, just a little sneeze… Fufufu maybe Alicia is talking about me…" (Petra)

"…" (Terre)

Alicia's location.

Alicia and Osha continued to make idle chatter as they walked through the forest, when after a while they began to hear voices ahead of them through some large bushes. Familiar voices.

"Ah! It's them! Come on let's go Osha!... Osha?" Alicia goes to go through the bushes, but looks back to see Osha looking nervous with her head down, so Alicia heads back and approaches her.

"Hey… are you sure it's okay I come with you?" Osha asked timidly.

Alicia was confused at first, but then she realised what was the matter. Osha had spent who knows how long alone while being very young. Even when she was not alone, the only creatures she interacted with really was her parents. The next intelligent creatures that she met attacked her and her parents. She was worried about being accepted by Alicia's friends.

Alice put a hand on Osha's shoulder and smiled confidently...

"Of course!" (Alicia)

"Huh?" Osha was surprised by the certainty in Alicia's voice.

"Hehe in the short time we have been together Osha… you already feel like a little sister to me. From now on, you are going to meet tons of nice people, you won't be alone anymore." Alicia said while ruffling the top of Osha's hair.

Osha felt comforted by Alicia's words and her lack of hesitation…

"Hehe BIG SISTER!" (Osha)

"Wait WAHH!" (Alicia)

Osha jumped at Alicia and tackled her to the ground, and the shout attracts the attention of a certain someone…

"Hmmm?... Did you hear that Vera?! It's her! Aliciaaa!" the sound of Ignis' running footsteps get closer and closer to the bush Alicia and Osha are behind.

Alicia smiles at how happy Ignis seems to be in thinking that she had arrived, but then Alicia looks down at her current position…

"Shit…" Alicia notices that her [Spirit Armour] has begun to disappear in places around her legs, shoulders and chest. She is also being straddled by a naked young girl who is happily cuddling against her while her head is between her, getting increasingly exposed, breasts. Alicia began to panic.

"W-Wait Ignis! Don't come any closer!" Alicia shouted desperately to try and avoid a misunderstanding but… Ignis came charging through.

"Alicia! It is you! What are you talking about? Me and Vera have been…" Ignis freezes as she pushes herself through the bushes too see Osha and Alicia in an almost naked embrace.

"…" (Ignis)

"…" (Alicia)

"Mhmmmm… Hehe" (Osha)

Ignis stares down at Alicia with cold eyes, as Alicia looks up at her looking like a deer caught in headlights. Osha meanwhile is completely in her own world snuggling into Alicia…

"… Pervert." (Ignis)

Ignis backs up out of the bushes, leaving Alicia trying to get up and shouting of Ignis in vain as Osha continues to pin her down.

Meanwhile, Vera stands a bit further back watching everything happen…

"Haaaah, a long night ahead I sense…"
