7 Plans Are For Losers

"So, a young dragon appears in the public eye for the first time in over a century- what exact;y was your master plan?"

"Plan? Plans are for losers. I just wanted to show off. If someone wanted to hurt me, I'd just run away!"

"... If I recall correctly, aren't dragons supposed to be smart, even when young? You are reminding me more and more of a dragon that shared the same name as you... in terms of your inane thought process ignoring normal logic."

A beautiful, mature elven woman was currently combing the golden hair of an equally beautiful child- if it weren't for their difference in hair color, considering the silver hair of the woman, one would think they were related... oh, and also the scaled legs and wings of the child.

For now, Sion was much more docile and restrained, yet seemed bored. He initially was putting up a fight as he was suddenly spirited away, but learned not to mess with the strange woman after she showed her uh- frightening capabilities when dealing with unruly children.

"So, kidnapper. Why'd ya bring me here? And how did you trick me to going to the wrong place? I wanted to go the real castle with real elves you know?"

"I have multiple questions about the terminology you used, but I'm going to pretend you didn't say half the things you did. And I didn't "trick" you into going to the wrong place- in fact, you actually WERE in front of the castle. I simply laid another space over that area, so everything looked the same, but people weren't present- only the sounds from the main plane. Impressive work, if I am to praise myself"

At this point Sion was certainly quite surprised. Such manipulation of space was far above the standard, even for magic users of the elven race... She was certainly a powerful personage... And an old one, judging from the silver hair of a time past.

"I feel like you were thinking something quite rude just then."

"I would never do something so rude. Speaking of rude, you haven't introduced yourself. What's your name?"

"...Kid, I'm starting to get tired of your sass. But, it's interesting, I'll give you that."

A seductive smile goes across her mature yet beautiful face.

"You can call me Nolea."

----------

"FOUL BEAST! HORRENDOUS, HIDEOUS DRAGON! I SHALL SLAY YOU, IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS RIGHTEOUS!"

A young man in long flowing white and yellow robes, with equally long black flowing hair, floating on the flat of a longsword, was shouting toward a bulky angular scaled red dragon, that was slightly larger then a pickup truck.

Said dragon was sitting on top of a small grassy hill in the middle of a plain with a blank look on it's face as the man yelled while floating slightly above it's face.

"...Who the hell is this weirdo? Even by weirdo's standards, something seems off about him. If Sion were to describe this guy he would say he's... 'from the wrong genre' I think."

"W-weirdo!? I have been sent to this world by the Gods above from Earth, in order to live for my happiness and the happiness of others after my death! IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE, POWER, AND ASCENSION! THREE TRIGRAMS HEAVENLY PAL- GAAHH!"

He was shortly after swatted out of the air in the middle of his zealous speech, and landed face down on the ground in front of the fearsome dragon- who was in fact Sonia.

Ignoring him, she takes off into the air, having had her short rest interrupted, while gazing forward at a blood red spire in the distance. Her determined gaze was palpable.

'Mother... you can't run away from my questions any longer. I will get my explanation for your acts toward me and Sion.'

---------

"Oho, you have a sister?"

At this point, Sion was dressed in a loose brown robe of a rough, form obscuring design. It did quite the good job of concealing his draconic nature, while still remaining comfortable. While checking himself out in the ornate mirror before him, and twisting back and forth like the child he currently was, he nodded.

"I wouldn't have said it if it wasn't true. She suddenly left when she said I was 'good enough' or something. Probably on some amazing adventure or something- not that I care. I just want to be myself- and preferably lone wolf it. You know what I mean?"

"... I see. Well, that's tragic."

"Huh? Tragic? What do ya mean?"

Turning with a confused look on his face he sees a sly look on Noela's face. He could feel his heart sink.

"Oh god, I knew you brought me here for something."

"Good to know that you realize help doesn't come free- especially for someone in my prestigious position," she said as she sauntered to stand next to Sion in front of the mirror, displaying the her tall and beautiful physique next to Sion's small stature and girlish face.

'How modest.' Sion thought inwardly.

"Well, I've gotten a request from a uh... higher power. Specifically the god of travel."

"Oh god dammit."

Nolea raised an eyebrow and turned to stare at Sion.

"You know, you have quite the dirty mouth for a child. Also, it's gods- plural."

"I'm a dragon."

"Yes, and a child. I take it you are familiar with the god of travel?"

Sion nods with a bad feeling. "Yes I am. What about her? What do I gotta do?"

Nolea again puts on a sly smile. "Apparently she accidentally dragged over some people from another plane of existence or something- and it seems she wants you to fix it. Truth be told, I have no clue why, but I do have some guesses- but it's not like my opinions are relevant here."

"...I see. So I gotta kill them or something?"

"Uh, that's quite violent. More specifically, watch over the ones with large amounts of power and make sure they don't cause a mess- oh, and help one particular group seal the demon king."

Sion sighs in a resigned fashion before nodding his head.

"Well, I guess I can fool around while also doing my job... Wait, what was that last part? I thought I heard a cliche-"

"You were right. Now get out of here- destiny and adventure awaits you!"

"W-wait! I'm not emotionally prepar-!"

As he vanished from the mysterious elven woman's room, Nolea stood alone, carrying an expression of deep thought.
