5 Chapter 4: Retreat or Surrender?

"I am Lapu-Lapu, the Chief of this Island. I will never let anyone take my citizens again!" the man in the far distance said.

"We come in peace! we just want to get to the Western Lands," Zilong said nervously, "We wouldn't want to take any of your citizens. In fact, we are going to rescue them." he added.

"So you people weren't the ones who were kidnapping my people.." Lapu-Lapu said in a very angrily manner.

"Yes, they got kidnapped by Leomord's soldiers. They want to turn them into soldiers to fight for the war." Hanabi kindly explained.

They had a hard time talking with Lapu-Lapu. After a couple of minutes trying to explain what is hapenning Lapu-Lapu joined them for the expedition to rescue their people.

Not so long before reaching the Celestial Palace they encountered Leomord along with his troops.

"Leomord, Where's Chang'e!" Zilong angrily shouted.

"And why the heck would I tell you?" Leomord replied along with an evil smile.

Zilong tried resisting himself but he couldn't take it anymore. He released his spear and hooked him on the chest. Unfortunately his horse blocked the strike and gave Leomord an opportunity to escape, leaving his soldiers behind, along with Balmond, Selena, Karina and Helcurt.

"Oh looks like I'm gonna have a fun time today.." said Selena, Shooting her Abyssal arrow directly to Lapu-Lapu. He didn't stand a chance. He got stunned, and instantly got hit with Balmond's large axe, smashing it to the ground.

"Lapu-Lapu!!" They all shouted as he slowly falls to the ground. Everyone started being more careful as they lose their vision, the effect of the Nightbringer; Helcurt.

Karina started attacking Hayabusa,with the help of Helcurt. He got pierced with Toxic Thorns of Helcurt, and got slices from Karina, leaving Hayabusa wounded and flat on the ground.

Hanabi and Zilong started attacking Balmond while Tigreal tries to protect their two wounded allies. Every stun of Selena to Zilong would leave him wounded, but he still manages to fight regardless of him slowly losing his stamina.

"HAHAHAHAHAA, pathetic animals." Selena said then releasing her final blow of the Abyssal arrow that stroke both Hanabi and Zilong.

Balmond and Helcurt started running towards them using all of their remaining strength to finish them..until....

"AHH! what is this leash!? who are you??" ask Balmond who got leashed by Kaja.

Lolita blocked Helcurt's thorns at the right moment when he's about to pierce them absorbing all dark energy from Lolita's shield.

Alongside with Rafaela and Uranus, they managed to take Zilong's comrades to the Celestial Palace. Rafaela took care of them and heal their wounds while they are taking a rest.

"Take a look at this cute drawing a kid named Chang'e made a few days ago." Rafaela told Tigreal.

Zilong, with a sharp sound of her name quickly woke up from his sleep. "You know Chang'e?"
