3 Old friends

"She woke up at 7:00 am. "Guess I better get up'' She got up.

Went to the bathroom, got dressed, she grabbed an apple

and waited for Drake.

It was 7:30 when he drove up, she locked her door and

went downstairs. She got in his car.

"Good morning Drake." She said smiling and buckled up.

"Good morning Ms. Deja." He was happy this morning I'm glad.

"I hope you ready for today I've got lots of things for you to

do."

"Yes, I am." She was ready for more paperwork.

They arrived at the building. She got out of the car, and walked in and waited for Drake, he gave his keys to a valet, who drove the car away. They headed towards the elevator and got on.

They arrived on the 20th floor.

"You will be working in here today, talk to Brandon, he will tell you

what you need to do, and try not to have fun." He winked at her.

She blushed and turned. "What am I thinking, he's your boss, but he's

hitting on me." She gets off the elevator. He goes to his office.

"She is so cute." He smiles at himself.

Brandon gave Deja a stack of papers after she sorted them she got to go run errands all morning. When it was 12:00, she went down with everyone

and got lunch, she didn't see Drake at lunch, but Terrin was there delivering someone some coffee, she walked over too him. "Hi, Terrin." He had that same look like yesterday, but when he saw her, he smiled.

"Hello there Ms. Deja, how are you."

"Please, just Deja I don't mine."

"O'k Deja...so what do you do around here?"

"I run errands and file paperwork."

"That sounds interesting...I got to go see you later." He waves exited the building.

"I wonder if he a Dragondein he looks like one but then again he might not but those muscles

don't come from delivering coffee all the time I'll worry about it later I got to get back to work."

She didn't see Drake until work ended she got in the elevator and he was in it. He smiled at her.

"Hi Drake, I didn't see you at lunch?"

"I was in a meeting all day.....do you want to go out too super with me?''

"I wouldn't be intruding would I?"

"No, not at all...I would love it if you came...I get lonely sometimes."

"O'k ill go with you I don't want you to get lonely." She said with a smile and grabbed his arm.

He looked surprised. She let go of him. "I'm sorry I got excited." she hung her head.

"It's ok I don't mind I wasn't expecting it was all." He held her hand and smiled at her.

She blushed so hard her face looked like a tomato. The woman from yesterday that hated Deja

saw the two holding hands, she was carrying a cup of hot coffee and approached the two.

She fake tripped and spilled hot coffee all over Deja's back and hair. "Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't see you there it was an accident .'' She was hoping Deja would cry out in pain but she didn't she acted like it was just cold water she spilled on her. Drake knew it wasn't an accident. "You are fired". She left the building.

"My clothes are ruined.'' She said in despair. "Its ok ill get you some new ones.''

"No you don't you keep paying for everything and I'm supposed to be working too

pay you back you won't let me and now I feel like I"m stealing from you." She hung her head.

He took his coat off and put it around her. He leads her into his car and he drove her home.

"Thank you for everything here's your coat." She was taking it off when he said. "Just keep it its a

gift." She smiled and looked up at him. "Thank you." He felt his heart beat faster and faster.

She got out and waved goodbye to him and went inside.

"Do I love her?" He thought too himself. "I do.'' He drove away.

Deja got too her door and got her keys out and was about too put them

in the lock when she noticed the door was unlocked."I locked it when I left

why is it unlocked.'' She figured burglar, she opened the door and there was someone

standing in the living room in the corner in the dark. "Who are you?"

"It took me one year to track you down and you don't even remember me?"

That voice so familiar...''ONYX!!" She screamed happily and ran over to her and gave her a hug.

"I was wondering how long it would take you to realize who I was."

"I've missed you so much.'' She squeezed her even tighter.

"Well, you don't have to try and squeeze me to death when you see me." She let go of her.

"I've just missed you so much you are my only best friend in this world."

"I've missed you too I'm glad nothing bad has happened too you."

"So you've been looking for me for one year it was that hard I would have thought

you would have found me earlier than that you were always good at tracking."

"True but you were always better than me at most things except hand to hand combat

and martial arts I always defeated you at them." She sat down on the couch.

Description of Onyx

Onyx was very beautiful she had short black hair and silver eyes. She was slender.

She was a fire dragon she always wears darker colors.

Her father was her and Deja's Sensei that's why she was better at martial arts.

And hand to hand combat.

"So do you have a place to stay if not you can stay here for as long as

you want." Deja was so happy.

"No, I don't have any were to stay how did you pay for all of this

you got a job?''

"Yeah I got a job and my boss is super hot."

"Haha, of course, he is you were always the guy magnet....does he have a brother?"

"I don't know but there is a very handsome and muscular coffee delivery guy."

"Really I might have to check him out is there any job openings at your job?''

"I don't know but if you're interested in the guy his name is Terrin and he works at

Scarbucks is all I know." She sat down on the couch next to her.

"We haven't talked about boys in years....."

"I know it's been so long you finish your training with the old man?"

"Yeah he kept pushing me to become the best better than even you

but I knew that I could not my lineage is not the strongest I am only one

element while you are two which is much stronger than anyone."

"That's true but you were always much smarter than me and a better fighter.''

"I guess well where do I sleep."

"Right here ill get your blankets." She pointed to the couch and walked over too

her room and grabbed a pillow and blanket.

Deja slept good knowing she was with her best friend again.
