Everything was going great for Drake. Almost suspiciously great. Sylvie's bakery was a hit, she hadn't seemed nearly as upset lately about the people who hurt her, and they were having fun together. 

He should have expected that there would be a snag. But he still wasn't prepared for when he got home and his wife told him that Randy introduced himself to her at the bakery. He barely managed to keep his facial expressions under control. 

"He did?" he asked as lightly as he could. 

That idiot! He knew that Drake didn't want her anywhere near the world of dreamwalkers so why would he do something so stupid?!

He had badgered Drake until he told him where the bakery was because he missed getting freebies all the time during the testing process. He was supposed to go buy things, not harass Sylvie!
