It's Not Your Fault

Romeo's experiment was going much better than he thought it would. Getting Annalise to agree to visit his mother with him every day hadn't been difficult at all. 

The more excess emotions he channeled into Sarah, the better she did even when the supply was cut off. After several weeks of this, she began recognizing him immediately when they arrived. 

If this kept up…she would be able to get out of here and have a normal life again. They couldn't hold her forever if she was capable of handling things on her own. It wouldn't make up for the nineteen years she lost because of him but it was better than nothing. 

Everything was great. His mother was doing better, he was consistently not hungry for the first time in his life, and Annalise was more relaxed. Everybody won.
