7 Chapter 7: My First Turn

Training finally got over so Heidi and I decided to go for a milkshake before cheer practice began. Nik asked if he could tag along since he had nothing to do but Heidi and I both knew that was just code for "Katherine forced me to keep an eye on you" which was a bummer but at least we had our own personal driver for the day. So we put on different clothes for practice and left. Nik drove us to the diner, I got a strawberry milkshake, Heidi a vanilla, and Nik a chocolate. Talk about total opposites. But even though Nik was there we all had a blast for about an hour of sitting there talking. He told me how he 100 percent supported us and apologized for how Katherine acted this morning. I can't believe he heard that too, now I can only expect that Kaylee and Ian did too! But he said that after practice he'd go and do something else in town so that Heidi and I could have the afternoon to ourselves. That news made us so happy, so then Nik drove us to the school for practice and said to meet him at the diner at 6 sharp no acceptions, I totally agreed because that's the most lenient I've ever seen Nik so I didn't dare push it. We went into the school, we were early since practice only started at 1 and it was 12:45, but Kaitlyn was there, we said hi and caught up on recent events from the party since Heidi and I have been MIA lately. We told her about us dating, she was surprisingly cool about it, more than Katherine at least...

AFTER PRACTICE

Practice just got over. All the girls left and me and Heidi were about to go shopping and hang out the rest of the day. As we were walking out someone grabbed Heidi and I, I couldn't use magic because they used an herb Kaylee told me about. It mutes magic from any witch it touches. I tried to use some of my fighting I've been taught to free me and then Heidi, but they were stronger. Vampires. I couldn't fight them, I was defenseless even though I was a werewolf, I was no Match for a vampire. But the good news is that they picked on a werwolf the night of a full moon, they're obviously newly vamps otherwise they wouldn't pick a fight with a werewolf on a full moon. Any other night roles would be reversed but when I turn I'd be a thousand times stronger and more of a threat to them. After all, a werewolf bite will kill a vampire and my blood is the only cure to it. But my question is, why the hell did they take Heidi, she doesn't have anything to do with any of this, she's not supernatural and she's only been apart of my life for a little bit. I guess they did so no witnesses but I really have no for sure answer. But time was running out, I had 4-6 hours until I'd start turning so either those vamps are screwed, or them and Heidi, even with all the control training I really have never experienced being a full on werewolf so I'm not sure if I can control myself toware I don't hurt Heidi. If anything happens to her I'll never forgive myself. Anyway, the vamps took us to an old abounded house, which is a good thing I suppose since I'll be turning soon, they put us into a closed, soundproof room. I guess they didn't want us to hear them but I realized it was two ways because they wouldn't be able to hear us, and I noticed that on the way here the herbs went away, my magic was back. But I needed to be in that house to find out what they were doing. First of all I secured the doors so they wouldn't be able to get in for about 3 hours, giving me enough time to exhaust as many ways as possible to get Heidi out before the full moon approached. I used a locator spell to see how far away my house was from this house because ours is in the middle of nowhere too. It showed that it was about a mile away from here, I'd use an invisible spell to make Heidi invisible to everyone, including me until she entered my house, and I told her that I'd use a powerful spell to open up the wall for about 10 seconds, just enough time for Heidi to run out far away, I have her my phone so she could track where she was so she didn't get lost. And I told her that when she gets there trust she needs to tell everyone to watch out since I'll be turning and might not have any control. She agreed and with that I kissed her, made her invisible and opened the wall, and I hoped she was out because it closed. And now there was only 2 hour until the full moon, I'd start turning soon, and the spell that held the doors shut broke, the vampires busted in and asked where the hell Heidi went, or as they called her "that girl" and all I did was give them a devilish smile. I didn't really feel like telling them that it was a full moon and that I was a werewolf because they kind of deserve to die after taking Heidi and trying to hurt her. Now all I had to do was wait it out with them until the clock hit about 9 or so...

Katherine's POV: Someone just started pounding on the door, I opened it and couldn't see anyone so I closed it, but someone obviously came in and when they did, Heidi appeared, I asked what she was doing here and all she said was that she needed to talk to Nik. I summoned him down and what Heidi was saying scared the hell out of me, apparently her and Anna were captured by a gang of vampires, newbies Heidi said according to Anna. I asked where she was but she wouldn't answer, she just said that we all needed to take cover since Anna would turn anytime and could be anywhere. But the thing that bothered me is how the hell did Heidi get out and not Anna, so I asked her and she said that Anna helped her get out so that Heidi could warn us and that Anna stayed behind because it'd be safer for everyone here if she turned there. I tried compelling Heidi but obviously Anna had her on vervain so all we could do is wait and hope for the best. This literally just gave me another reason to hate Heidi, Anna could've gotten herself out but she wasted that opportunity on Heidi...

Anna's POV: There was only a matter of time until I'd turn is all I thought and then it happened, I broke the first bone in my body. I couldn't let the vampires leave, or me, so I spelled the house using a boundary spell locking in all supernatural beings that were inside so they'd stay inside until I broke the spell, I looked up at the vampires and smirked as they realized they captured a werewolf and not just a witch. And before I realized it I was on all fours growling at the people who wanted to kill me. Well now they'd be trapped in a house with a deadly werwolf...
