10 ~Chapter 10~

Over the next several days, Willow spent most of her time pacing around her room frantically trying to think her way out of the wedding. The only idea she could think of was to flee, but there were too many flaws with that plan.

She wasn't sure if her kingdom was safe because of the war, and she had no where else to run to. On top of that, her father would be furious if she returned home unwed. As well, would she steal a horse? She wasn't even sure how to get back there. No, she couldn't just leave.

One night, as Willow lay fitfully in her bed, there was a quiet knock on her door. It was late in the night. Was it James back to torment her? Willow thought in a panic. The door opened slowly and Percy walked through it.

"I'm sorry to come so late, I didn't want to be seen but I had to see you." He walked towards her. "I've missed talking with you and hearing your beautiful laugh." Percy knelt at the side of her bed and took her hands in his.

Their eyes met in the darkness. Willow's heart melted at his touch. She had been worried that she was the only one missing him so badly.

"Get off the floor, Percy," she said softly, "I want you by my side." He did as she said and got in the bed next to her. They lay there together, quietly looking into one another's eyes. Percy began stroking her hair gently. He then brought a strand of it to his face and smelled it.

"You always smell so sweet, like flowers," he whispered. His hand caressed her cheek. Willow felt heat everywhere he touched and longed to feel his hands all over her. As if reading her mind, Percy brought his hand to her waist and pulled her closer to him. A quiet moan escaped her lips as he kissed her neck softly.

He began to pull her nightgown up but paused and asked, "is this what you want?". Willow wanted him so desperately.

"Yes, I want you. I want to be yours." Willow rolled on top of him and pulled her nightgown off over her head. She looked down at Percy as his eyes examined her body with lust. The pale skin of her breasts glowed white in the milky moonlight from the window.

Willow unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his tan chest. He pulled her down to him and she felt sparks as their naked skin touched. Finally, their lips met in a heated kiss. Their mouths interlocked as though they were pieces of a puzzle, made for this very moment. His lips were so soft against hers, they felt just like the princess had imagined they would.

Pulling away, Willow gasped for air. She had forgotten to breathe. Her prince took the opportunity to kiss down her body sensually. Moaning with pleasure, she felt her body quiver with each kiss. He flipped her underneath him and began to undo his pants.

Suddenly, the princess became nervous. Although her body yearned for Percy's, she had never been with a man before. She was scared. Percy must have felt her tense because he stopped.

"It's okay, my princess. We can wait." He leaned in and kissed her once more. "We will wait until you are my wife."

Willow looked up at him in the moonlight. Part of her wanted to tell him to keep going but she only smiled.

"And you, my husband," she responded.

After Percy was dressed, he tucked his lover back into her bed and gently kissed her forehead.

"Sweet dreams, Willow." He said and then left the room. Her head spun with the excitement of it all. The princess's face blushed deeply as she replayed it in her mind. She could hardly believe it wasn't a dream. That night, despite all of her worries and troubles, Willow slept soundly for the first time in days.
