2 Humble beginnings

The city of Antoinerei was no more than the capital of nothingness when i came here.

many years ago i stepped out of my nest from the enchanted forest in search of greater purpose.

with my eyes brimming with hope i went to Antoinerei for it was the closest.

happily wandering the simple city i first went to their market.

akin to the sound of merchants selling wares was the sound of my own stomach grumbling.

realizing i had nothing but the clothes on my back i needed food. luckily there was food all around.

as i move my wing to grab an apple i was stopped by another avian. a tall and handsome bird with lush feathers and golden armor adorning his muscular build and accentuating his features even more.

his deep blue eyes stared into mine as he spoke.

"stealing is prohibited in all of the land of dawn"

aghast i replied

"i wasn't stealing, I'm just trying to get some food"

"you're not from around here are you" he replied ruffling his feathers.

"n-no" i said with a blush as i suddenly grew interested in the ground

"its all right. i was like you when i left my home. to get food you need gold and to get gold you need a job"

he then grabbed an apple and threw a gold coin to the man selling them.

"here, this one's on me" he said handing me the apple

"and now to get you a job" he said as i happily munched on the apple.

"but wait we don't even know each others name's. here i'll start in diggie. what's your name?"

"kaja, the name's kaja"
